We've both been really busy with work over the last few months so not been able to do as much Southside Happenings as we'd have liked. Will try to get back onto things properly soon and might rope in a few assistants out there for a couple of things we've got planned. Here's to a good year for us all.

SSH: What do you do?I write novels and plays about Scottish working-class life, in all its strange variety.&amp;nbsp; They’re generally, but not always, set in my hometown of &amp;nbsp;Falkirk.&amp;nbsp; I also perform my work onstage often, and at live literature events such as Words Per Minute. 

My first novel Boyracers was published in 2001.&amp;nbsp; I then earned a Masters degree in...&lt;br/&gt;
