TO THE MOON: An intriguing image that goes to show how ‘small’ man-made objects can look, if not literally than at least figuratively, compared to what exists beyond our own planet.

Of course the perspective from which this photograph was taken let me along my aforementioned line of thought. An aeroplane flys past the moon on a dark, dark night. Only its shadow is decipherable, and its one that looks tiny next to the luminescent moon.

I wonder how high or low you have to be in order to see the moon as a regular aeroplane passenger. It’s been a while since I’ve flown, at night, evidently. Naturally the moon vs. plane perspective would be different from that view.

From a ground bound view though, we can clearly see how small individual objects from Earth look against an entire other planet.

Something a bit different. G-TAWO Thomson Boeing 737-800 landing runway 23R at Manchester Airport.

I do like the new livery of Thomson Aircraft it suits them really well. The aircraft would look even better when the sun is out. Sadly at around 20.00 the light was fading and no sun was to be seen.
