The sites I subscribed to were on Odeo.com.

1. (personal) Delta Park Project- A great weekly show with a variety of topics including comedy, songs, and pop culture reviews.
2.(personal) Times Sounds Podcast- Biggest names in music
3. (personal) coverville- A 30 minute music podcast with rare and unusual cover songs approximately 3x/wk.
4. (professional) It Conversations - Talks about trends in technology.
5. (professional) One Minute Trip - A collection of podcasted technology tips, interviews, quickstarts and videos for people who don't have time to read manuals cover to cover.
6. (professional) Wizards of Technology - A site with resources to make technology easy for you.

Hi!

I feel blogs are a way of posting, gaining, and sharing information on the net. It is very fluid since it can change through daily updates. Blogs allow users to comment and respond to the "blogger's" thoughts. Blog's can be categorized by topic or "tagged". It is a type of online journal. Blogs are also known as web logs.

Some of the educational uses can be

research for any school topic or subject
to keep parents and or students up to date on class projects or assignments
way to keep students able to communicate for small group projects even on weekends and or holidays
enhance students' debating skills
post examples of targeted assignments
encourage student reflection on reading assignments
communication with parents and or school staff
provide articles or internet sites for student review
provide prompts for writing assignments
keep an online journal
