Once you decide where to place the base station it is time to launch the app and let it start mapping. The powerful and intuitive app opens up a world of customization, from scheduling cleanings to configuring specialized zones, making the Freo X Plus as user-friendly as it is advanced. We will be dedicating some additional setup tips and trick videos to our YouTube channel. In short (and not nearly complete) all of the following were part of the app:

• Adding multiple devices (bluetooth and wifi)
• Mapping out room
• Configuring floor types
• Configuring special zones (extra duty or no-go)
• Strength or number of times to vacuum or mop areas
• Schedules
• Adding furniture to the maps
• Seeing where it is in the floorplan at any given time and the paths it has taken

Now that we are live and the floor(s) mapped by the Narwal Freo X Plus, it is time to get to actual work. The Freo X Plus always left the base in the same start pattern. Depending on which room, zone or mode we had set it took off for it’s duties. It had warnings if the bin gets too full, water gets too low or it gets stuck. With its impressive battery life, the Freo X Plus efficiently tackled over 1,000 square feet of vacuuming and mopping, consistently returning to base with more than 50% charge remaining.

Vacuum and Mop Capabilities

Vacuum strength was above average at 7800 Pa suction. It performed stronger when you went into the app and designated types of carpet or flooring it was working on. Another reason to explore our app tips videos later. We tested piles of crumbs and it recognized it needed to spin a few times around the spot. We threw the same along the walls and the brushes gently moved the debris in front of the vacuum for pickup. We will talk about the container and bin cleanup at the end of the review together.

While the Freo X Plus employs a weight-based mop mechanism rather than a pressurized scrub, it performs admirably for daily upkeep, handling general spills and stains with ease. For general and daily cleans it works well. For heavy scrubbing it never quite got it all. What we found was using this right after finding or dropping something on the hardwood or linoleum or it did the job. A spot we left to harden up for testing for days would get partially lifted. We just changed the schedule and added a zone for daily mopping and that solved that problem. The mop is designed to lift 9mm when it sense carpets to keep them dry. Of course, we did not measure this height but we did not see wet streaks on carpets anywhere.

Base Station and Charging

While the base station focuses on charging, its practical design ensures easy maintenance with quick pop-out bins and water containers. Though it lacks self-dumping, the simplicity of its system enhances reliability and ease of use. We had no problems with this since both the water container and the bin easily pop out as shown in the video for easy dump or fill. It comes with a nice plastic pad you can place under it to protect floors if you use the mop head. The brush head is of the anti-tangle variety leaving no trace of hair or other items. We tossed one of those hair wrap black circles down and it pushed it through without tangle. However, some larger debris somehow sneaks around the container itself. Which means when you lift the lid to pop out and dump the bin, wipe out the bottom where you can find some extra dirt.

Additionally, when it goes home there is a feature to consolidate down the debris by running air to compress the dirt down. This gives longer times between emptying the bin that Narwal touts as a leading feature. If you have pets that get scared by the compression sound, Narwal even allows you to turn this off in the app. That was a nice and interesting touch.

The product documentation offers the following capability for how it maneuvers around the floorplan

Tri-Laser Obstacle Avoidance – Triple lasers avoid hazards at the millimeter level, while edge sensors enable accurate edge cleaning around obstacles. Paired with LiDAR SLAM 4.0, BX1 gets a 360° view of surroundings for ideal pathfinding.

What we found was it did a better than average job at identifying objects and caused it to spin often to validate location and obstacles. We let it free float near the stairs and it identified the fall off point and mapped it as a edge point.

What Is In the Box?

Included with the packaging for the Lucyd Lyte Eclipse XL glasses is a wall charging brick, which was a great surprise, a cleaning cloth, a small carrying pouch and the charging cable. A special note should be made here that we also show in the YouTube video. This cable has two magnetic clips that connect to each arm of the glasses for charging. With this very specific cable, you will need to include it in your packing if you plan on going more than a day away from it. There is no other way to recharge them without it.

Charging took a few hours to reach a full charge, and the red indicator light on each arm goes out when fully charged. I tried to find a way to know what charge levels were left while using them, but did not find that in the documentation.

When you disconnect them from the charger they will turn on and ready for pairing, or usage if already paired. A side note that I found when testing is that a single long button hold turns off the glasses, but you must turn on each arm individually in regular use.

Interacting with ChapGPT

The small packaging surprised me due to the size it would turn out to be at just over 5 feet tall. But the packaging was fantastic and looked great outside and the parts inside. Each bag or box held a part including the inside structure (comes with each piece well labeled), the outside cover and base, the two smart bulbs and the remote.
Note, there were no AAA batteries included for the remote so make sure to have a couple handy.

The light was easy to hook to the remote and to the wifi and downloaded app. I was able to control brightness, warmth and the full color spectrum from the app. The remote lets you choose between the white and some basic color options. I choose to use the app more as a phone is usually close.

Once it was on the wifi I hooked it easily with Alexa and Google Assistant for voice controls and also could create scenes. I have not played with the ability to sync it to music, but splitting the parts of the light into two sets (shown in the video) makes it a great look in the background. Then I can flip it to warm whites for reading or some low light.

Overall, I am thinking of getting another LEONC 65″ LED Floorlamp I like it so much to balance out the room.

Where and How Do I Access Jounce.AI?

When I first entered the Jounce.AI interface, which is a cloud-based copywriting platform currently accessed from the browser, I was able to immediately start using Jounce’s template driven solutions. The platform can generate content from scratch, or you can use its editing tools to tweak existing content to make it your own voice and have the AI help make the tone engaging. Jounce.AI also offers a wide range of templates, with over seventy templates at the time of this writing.

How Does Jounce.AI Work?

Jounce.AI uses natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML) to generate content quickly and accurately. AI Copywriting was very enticing, but quite the trusting leap to me. For my testing, I took immediate use of the video description template, the blog into template and many SEO templates.

I continued to tweak my inputs using their templates until I received the majority of the output I wanted. I then added my voice and small changes saving my enormous amount of time I usually spent copywriting. In the video above, I show how your outputs can regenerated, thrown away or finally be saved to your documents view.

All of the formatting tools are also available in the toolbar. Text color, headings and all the other normal text editor tools make the tuning of the output quick and easy to copy into other platforms. You can embed images (I did not look to see if video linking was included yet now that I think about it) and provide blockquotes and dividers.

Say Goodbye to Tedious Copywriting

At this time, Jounce.AI is just coming out of private beta and is building their pricing models. If you spend any amount of time each month creating content and copywriting, there will likely be a model that fits your needs. I have a handful of beta invites left to give out if you read this far down the review. I can say that Jounce has already saved me a few hours of time for my YouTube channel, building quality SEO information and forming blog titles.

I was anxious to receive this soon after I got a new Macbook for work. I needed a way to have multiple monitors, read memory cards for pictures and charge all while maximizing port usage and charging the laptop. The Kinivo 710UC did just that and more.

I first tested the HDMI port by connecting a 4k monitor to expand screen real estate. I do not do games, just daily work and some 4k streaming videos. The laptop saw the monitor immediately and I received excellent quality and refresh rates.

The USB-C charging was a great added benefit for connecting phones and other devices. I also tested this by connecting the USB C Macbook charger from the wall and then the Kinivo 710UC USB-C Hub into the Macbook. I got enough pass thru charge with no drops. It did get slightly warm but not enough to be a problem.

On the side of the Kinivo 710UC USB-C Hub is three USB 3.0 ports I used simultaneously with success as well. I was able to copy files between two ports using the Macbook to move them and got excellent speed. It was able to negotiate USB 3.0 and down to 2.0 when needed for older drives I connected to get data.

The card readers on the 710UC performed as expected; easily. I pulled an old TF card for testing and multiple SD cards and all got excellent read speeds (no I did not sit there and use tools to time it, I went with reasonable responses as a user). The cards were easy to get in an out of the slots and the Macbook saw them each time on insert.

Overall, the Kinivo 710UC USB-C Hub is the perfect weight (under 4 ounces) and size to slip into your laptop bag, hook to your phone or sit behind your laptop on your workspace.
