We'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who came along and supported the Antifa Benefit Show, and thanks to all the bands for helping put on a great night of music. The show was a huge success - we raised a good deal of money for the AntifaNet collective and everyone had a fantastic night. We'll definately be doing some more benefit shows in the future, so we'll keep you all posted.
We'd also like to say a big thank you to Sancho, who has now left Splinter to try and get his other band off the ground. He's been a great servant to Splinter and has been an essential part of our progress as a band. He was meant to be playing his last Splinter show last Sunday, but strained all the ligaments in his arm and is unable to play guitar for a few months. Instead, it was an early welcome for our new guitarists (Ronnie and Mike), who weren't meant to be playing their first Splinter show until our next gig in May. Thanks to Ronnie and Mike for working so hard to have everything ready for the show last Sunday - they we're called into action pretty quickly, after Sancho's arm got fucked, and did a great job. So, it's a big farewell and thank you to Sancho - and a big welcome to Ronnie and Mike. This, of course, also means that Splinter are now a five piece band with two guitarists. We feel this gives the band a much fuller live sound and hope everyone likes the new setup.
On a final note, check the gigs section of our website ('cos we're getting some good shows lined up for later in the year, including some more shows in Europe). See you all in the pit!

Antifa Benefit Show

Chernobyl Benefit Show - May 2007

6th May 2007 @ Rockers (Glasgow, Scotland):

Annual benefit show for the Chernobyl Children Lifeline. Goes from midday 'til midnight and features a huge line-up of bands (including Bakers Dozen, Splinter, The Happy Spastics, Constant Fear, The Threats, The Gin Goblins plus many more). Click here for more info!

Shows in Slovenia!

It looks like we'll be returning to Slovenia for a couple of shows in May. We're planning to play in Ljubljana on the 12th may and will hopefully be doing a shown in Kranj aswell (probably on the 11th May).
We'll keep you all posted when we have more details!

"Sick To The Stomach" EP - launch dates!

The official release date for the new EP will be 20th December, after which the EP will be available for purchase from the Splinter website and at Splinter shows. You can also pre-order a copy from the Splinter website, which will be posted out to you on the 20th December.
Splinter will be doing three launch shows for the EP in February (two shows in Denmark and a show in Glasgow, Scotland) - so check the Splinter website or Splinter MySpace page for more details on the launch shows.

Not too much news, except for those of you in Denmark. We'll be returning there next February for 2 shows (in Aalborg on the 2nd of February and in Copenhagen on the 3rd of February), so we'll keep you up to date when we have more details.
