Question: It’s great to see Jesse Spencer getting a powerful storyline on House. Any news on how he’ll cope without Cameron? —Angela
Ausiello: Not well. In the Nov. 23 episode — the first sans Jennifer Morrison as Cameron — he loses it and punches House in the face! “Chase is very clearly off his game,” says a House insider, “and struggling with the loss of Cameron.” What prompts the fisticuffs? Apparently, Doc Crankypants unfavorably compares him to his far prettier, smarter wife, and Chase blows his top and decks him!

Question: Jesse Spencer has been amazing in the current arc on House, but I’m worried this storyline is setting up his eventual exit from the show a la Jennifer Morrison. Any word from your mole? —Carol
Ausiello: My mole assures me that you’re just being paranoid. Jesse’s staying put. (For now at least.)

Question: There’s a Diet Raspberry Snapple at stake for this one: Is Jane Lynch ever slated to sing on Glee? —Andi
Ausiello: The only thing Sue will be singing in the near future is the blues. According to a Glee insider, she’s finally going to see some real repercussions for all her plotting to take down the New Directions.

Question: I’m having intense Peter MacNicol withdrawal. Will he be back on Numb3rs soon? —Brigi
Ausiello: Yes, but there’s a catch: You won’t actually see him. MacNicol is heading back to the Numb3rs set in a few weeks to direct an episode. His on-screen return, meanwhile, won’t take place until the end of the show’s now-shortened season

Question: Please give us some scoop on Alex and Izzie on Grey’s Anatomy. Is there any good news for them coming up? I’m dying here! —Rachel
Ausiello: My new BFF Shonda Rhimes says there are “some shocking things” in store for the newlyweds during the second half of the season. “The next part of [their] journey,” she teases, “is going to be pretty interesting.” I don’t know about you, but I get a little scared when Shonda throws words around like “pretty” and “interesting.”

Question: Is it true that the first season 2 episode of Southland features a convict (apologies in advance) defecating on someone? If so, I can maybe understand why NBC took a pass. —Adam
Ausiello: According to Southland co-star Michael Cudlitz, the poop rumor is a load of crap. “When I heard that I was trying to think of what that was or what it could have been,” he says. “I’m not really sure what they’re talking about.” There was something about that story that didn’t smell right.

Question: Please, please, please let me, let me get what I want. Perhaps a Big Love scoop? Or just anything fantastic that you’d like to say about anything? —Ava
Ausiello: My 2009 custom-made holiday card has just been shipped off to the printer and it’s genius! I’ll have more details on that soon. In the meantime, here’s some Big scoop: You already know that closet case Alby is getting a boyfriend this season named Dale (played by Ben Koldyke). But what you may not know is that the show won’t shy away from depicting their steamy love affair. Short story shorter: Alby’s going to get laid. A lot.

Question: Love Sons of Anarchy! Does Opie finally figure out who really killed his wife? —Cindy
Ausiello: In episode 11, Tig makes a shocking confession about Donna’s death — and Opie goes on a solo mission to seek revenge. In other news, Opie officially starts a romance with that porn star from the Caracara studio. At least I think you’ll be happy. Truth be told, I’m way behind on the show and I have no idea what I’m talking about. The spoilers are accurate, I just don’t know what any of ‘em mean.

Question: Any scoop on Sons of Anarchy now that Jax is “going nomad”? I don’t even know what that means! —Chris
Ausiello: That makes two of us! I’m equally as lost about this next scoop: My S.O.A. mole assures me that after Gemma makes her reveal, it’ll seem pretty obvious that Jax is back in the gang and not going anywhere. Sounds juicy! (Is it?)

Question: You’re not allowed to say someone is dying in the Nov. 19 episode of The Mentalist and then leave it at that. It’s unethical! Just a little hint? Pretty please with a Smurf on top? —Ally
Ausiello: Did I say someone dies? My bad. Several people die.

Question: Do you not like FlashForward or something? There has yet to be one single iota of a scoop about the show. Could you please give me something to chomp on? —Stephanie
Ausiello: I like FlashForward just fine. The problem is I don’t love it. And if last week’s living room showdown between Joseph Fiennes and Sonya Walger’s future lover is a preview of the kind of painfully heavy-handed schlock to come, I may have to bail soon. The good news? This week’s episode is supposed to be a vast improvement. I hear we may even find out the significance of the Blue Hand.

Question: Any chance that Smallville will segue into a new series called Metropolis? —WAM
Ausiello: If there was, executive producer Kelly Souders would know about it. And it sounds like she doesn’t. “There’s nothing official that I know of, but who knows? It’s hard to say goodbye to this franchise. It’s the show that keeps on going.” Hmm… I think the key word there is “official.”

Question: Any chance we will see Michael Rosenbaum return as Lex on Smallville? —Stacie
Ausiello: Rosenbaum recently met with the Smallville writers, but, sadly, it was just to shoot the breeze. “He came by the writers office a couple weeks ago,” says Souders. “We all love him. The crew and the cast love him. We would love to have him back. We’re constantly talking to him trying to figure out if there’s a way. And believe me, we will keep fighting that fight until the final episode. And I know he’d love to come back, too.” Wait, if he wants to come back, and the show wants him back, what’s the hold-up? “He’s doing other projects, so the timing of things is always a little tricky,” says Souders. “Things have to get planned way in advance. And if he’s locked into something, even if at the end of the day the schedule works out, you often don’t know until you’re already shooting. But I’m believing that the Smallville stars will align at some point. Whether it’s this season or [a possible 10th season], my gut wants him back so desperately that I’m going to believe it’s going to happen. I can’t think of a better way to [end the series] then by bringing him back.”

Question: When can we expect to see the return of Perry White on Smallville? —Dee
Ausiello: “We have a story that we would love to tell with Perry,” says Souders. “But [Michael McKean] is in a Broadway show right now. So he’s not exactly available at the moment.”

Question: In regards to your Supernatural spoiler last week, do Sam and Dean switch bodies with each other or with different characters on the show? There’s a debate going on right now about it. Can you clear it up? — Barb
Ausiello: You Supernatural fans certainly love to mass debate, don’t you? Well, allow me to set the record straight before you all go blind: Sam and Dean switch bodies with each other and a couple other characters.

Question: Any scoop about this week’s Fringe? If the previews are any indication, it looks like a keeper. —Al
Ausiello: Even gravel-voiced, stone-faced FBI agents have a softer side. And we get to see it when the usually serious-as-a-heart-attack Broyles gets embroiled in a case from the past that has a special personal meaning for him, so much so that he even steps on a few inter-agency toes to solve it. Contaminated cosmonauts and conspiratorial cover-ups abound. Plus, who knew the “Intelligence” in “Central Intelligence Agency” was extraterrestrial? (Okay, I kinda did.)

Question: There’s a rumor going around that Melina Kanakaredes is getting killed off CSI: NY in the very near future. True? —Jess
Ausiello: False. My NY mole tells me that Melina will be around all season.

Question: Got any Dexter scoop? P.S. Rita seemed to back to her normal self at the end of the last episode. So could you maybe spare the “annoying Rita” talk? —Maddie
Ausiello: I can’t and here’s why: Rita the big fat nag returns this Sunday when she guilt trips Dexter into escorting the kids on a camping trip. Girlfriend needs to either accept the fact that her husband has a higher calling that involves killing bad people or simmah down now.

Question: Do you have any Dexter news? —Christina
Ausiello: In this Sunday’s eppy, the Showtime smash will boldly go where it has never gone before. I’d go so far as to call it a game-changing event.

Question: Any word on how Navid reacts to Adrianna’s bisexuality on 90210? —David
Ausiello: He reacts like you’d expect an ex-boyfriend to react: like a big ol’ ass. “Navid is a little freaked out about it,” says exec producer Rebecca Sinclair. “He’s like, ‘Whoa, what did I do? I just turned my girlfriend gay! What does this say about me!’”

Question: Hey! Got any scoop about my favorite sophomore drama, 90210? —Sarah
Ausiello: Hey! I do. There’s a catfight coming up between Naomi and another female character that will put Alexis and Krystle’s legendary lily pond brawl to… okay, it’s not as good as that one, but it’s still pretty damn memorable.

Question: The season premiere of Friday Night Lights almost had me in tears. Are things going to get better for the East Dillon Lions? —Nena
Ausiello: I’ll say this: The game they were shooting last month when I visited the set was not nearly as lopsided as the massacre you witnessed in the premiere. And it definitely didn’t end in forfeit. You may want to keep a hanky handy though. There’s an episode coming up that will have you crying like a teething baby without a piece of plastic to bite down on. (Hint: Said episode features a funeral.)

Question: Any news about Lie to Me? —Nicole
Ausiello: There’s a big episode coming up on Monday for Mekhi Phifer’s Agent Reynolds where we learn that he’s been hiding something in his past from the rest of the group. And as we all know, nobody hides stuff from Tim Roth, so expect some sparks to fly.

Question: Please tell me you have some new info on Scrubs. I am dying to know what is going on — especially with the season premiere now only a month away! —Matthew
Ausiello: John C. McGinley says the new grad school setting has “reenergized” the show. “We could go on for three or four more years,” he told us at last night’s 2012 premiere. “Dr. Cox has become an instructor at a medical school and he has a whole new set of people to torture. Per usual, he adds just enough sugar — a teaspoon — so you don’t hate him entirely. We tend to stick to the school for most of the episodes and see way less of our personal lives. My [TV] wife, Christa Miller, is now shooting Cougar Town, although she graces us with her presence in episode 4. Jordan makes and appearance and it is quite funny.”

Question: As of today, I’m addicted to Chuck. Got anything good to hold me ’til March? —Susan
Ausiello: As of today? What the hell took so long? Also, get with the program: Chuck will probably most likely maybe possibly be back in January. I usually don’t reward procrastination and ignorance with red hot scoop but I’ll make an exception just this once. Zach Levi will make his Chuck directorial debut with episode 9, titled “Chuck vs. The Beard” and guest-starring Drew Carey Show grad Diedrich Bader.

'Chuck' exec producer moving to 'V'

"Chuck" executive producer Scott Rosenbaum has inked a two-year overall deal with the series producer Warner Bros. Television.

As part of the seven-figure pact, Rosenbaum will take over the reins of "V," WBTV's freshman series for ABC, as executive producer/showrunner.

"V," which has enjoyed strong pre-launch fan interest and solid reviews, went on hiatus after shooting the first four episodes. They will start airing tonight and end with a cliffhanger before the show, a reimagination of the 1980s mini-series, returns in the spring.

Rosenbaum, who is still on "Chuck," will make the transition to "V" later this month.

Scott Peters, who ran "V" for the first episodes, will continue as executive producer alongside Jason Hall, while another executive producer, Jeff Bell, is expected to depart.

"V" is scheduled to resume production in January.

Rosenbaum, who also worked on FX's "The Shield," is repped by UTA.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ should bring back Burke - but it doesn’t have to be the same actor. If not Isaiah Washington, try someone new. That could be a nice storyline for Cristina. – Annette in Comments
I’m glad you shared this sentiment, because I made the exact same pitch to ‘Grey’s’ creator Shonda Rhimes. I mean, why introduce some new doc played by Kim Raver when a return by Burke (even via a recast) could really rattle the rafters? Rhimes’ response: “First of all, you can’t recast Burke. As far as I’m concerned, none of these [cast members] are recastable.” As for ever addressing any business left unfinished when Burke ran out on Yang, Rhimes countered, “No, I feel like we really played that storyline out in the way we meant to play it out - and I think it worked.”

The season premiere of ‘Chuck’ feels so far away! Some scoop would help make the wait easier to bear. – Frederic
Well, now that NBC has effectively axed both ‘Southland’ and ‘Trauma’ and upped ‘Chuck’s’ episode count by six, hopefully that wait will be whittled down some. “There’s always been that possibility,” Mark Christopher Lawrence (aka “Big Mike”) tells me. “With NBC cutting shows, chances are we will return earlier [than March 2010].” Will ‘Chuck’ still call Mondays home? “At this point there’s no telling,” Lawrence shrugs, before adding with a chuckle: “I’m just glad we’re not going up against ‘Monday Night Football’ or ‘Dancing with the Stars’!”

Is this week’s ‘Supernatural’ as funny as it looks? After all your Twitter and Facebook teases, I am dying over here. – Michelle
I’m a tough critic when it comes to funny, and I LOL’d lots while watching “Changing Channels,” in which the Trickster plops Sam and Dean inside various TV shows. (The episode’s opening credits alone will have both schlemiels and schlimazels howling.) All that’s up for debate is which segment the fans will find most hysterical. I myself was giving the edge to the riff on ‘Grey’s’ - which is replete with way too many people saying “Seriously?” - but then the ‘CSI’ spoof hit my screen and all bets were off. It must also be noted, however, that toward the hour’s end things turn grave when the Trickster drops two bombshells on the bros.

Got scoop on ‘Supernatural’? – Robin
Speaking of this week’s episode, I had to wonder if the breathy female pop tunes playing throughout the ‘Grey’s’ send-up were satires themselves, perhaps with mocking lyrics. Despite repeat viewings, I was unable to tell for sure, so I turned to series boss Eric Kripke for an answer. “It’s all real,” he tells The Big Tease. “We share a music supervisor with ‘Grey’s,’ Alex Patsavas, so she made sure we had the perfect type of songs. I think a few may have even been used on ‘Grey’s.’” Seriously? Seriously.

Are we closer to a resolution regarding ‘Southland’ moving to TNT? – Will
Just as you emailed me, Will, TNT announced its plan to air all seven Season 1 episodes plus the half-dozen new eps produced for (but ultimately turned down by) NBC. With ‘Southland’ moving to cable, one question is whether the gritty drama will still bleep its bad words. A TNT rep tells me that while cabler does carry “TV MA”-rated shows featuring “certain language for mature audiences,” it’s too soon to tell if the ‘Southland’ cops will be swearing a blue streak.

Will House and Cuddy get some actual action with each other this season? – Amy
By “actual,” do you mean non-hallucinated? That’d be nice, but no signs point to an in-the-flesh hookup anytime soon. Perhaps as small consolation, director Greg Yaitanes teased via Twitter that “Cuddy fans are going to go crazy” when they catch this season’s 14th episode. “It’s awesome.” And yet a small eternity away.

‘The Vampire Diaries’ should not have killed Vicki! Please tell me she’s not really dead. - Craig
Alas, the minx of Mystic Falls is no more - though there is a chance we could see her again. “[Series boss] Kevin Williamson keeps mentioning that I will possibly be back in a dream or as a ghost,” Kayla Ewell tells me, “but nothing is official.”

One of my buds got a gander at Geoff Johns’ script for the super-powered two-parter and in a word, he says, it is “amazing.” And speaking of Shanks, the buzz is that Hawkman could be the most entertaining DC Comics import in ‘Smallville’ history. Is it January yet?

I saw a teaser saying that ‘The Closer’ will return in December. Any idea on the date and how many episodes? – Jan
Brenda Leigh and the MCD crew will return on Monday, December 7, with three new episodes that wrap up the procedural’s fifth season.

I’m sure I’m not the only one who loves ‘White Collar’ and is desperate for scoop. – Sarah
True story: Back in 2002, blue-eyed ‘White Collar’ star Matt Bomer was considered to play the new big-screen Superman. (Brandon Routh went on to get the gig.) But onto your question. Um, no. Rather, I am told that things will get even more bleak for the BAU agents before they get better, with the CBS hit’s 100th episode (airing November 25) revolving around a very personal turning point for Hotch.

The “Easter egg” was in fact barely bigger than an egg: Lying on the shelf as Castle made his entrance clad in Mal’s browncoat was a “catalyzer” - aka the gizmo critical to making a Firefly-class ship run. (Check out frame grabs here.) On the scoop front, ‘Mad Men’s’ tarty teach, Abigail Spencer, guests on the November 23 episode as a murder vic’s fiancée. When Perrey Reeves (aka ‘Entourage’s’ Mrs. Ari) turns up as said corpse’s wife, catfighting understandably ensues.

This Just In: Desperate Housewives May Never Die

Desperate Housewives: Marc Cherry has extended his contract with ABC Studios for another two years, which could keep Desperate Housewives on the air through at least 2013. Of course the big question is whether the cast's main players—Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria Parker, Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross—will want to go that long. They're currently only committed through the 2010-2013 season. And let's face it, with all the natural disasters on Wisteria Lane (tornadoes, planes falling out of the sky), it'd be a bloody miracle if anyone survived that long.

D'oh! Simpsons actor Dan Castellaneta will play the pilot of the small plane that will crash on Desperate Housewives, mowing over a few people along the way. We suppose Greg Grunberg wasn't available?

Long Live Chuck! No official word yet from NBC, but sources confirm that Trauma will not go past its current 13-episode order, making room for Chuck to return on Monday nights early next year. Somewhere, Zachary Levi and Josh Gomez are doing a bromantic tango to celebrate.

Glee: As proof that not all E! Online writers agree on the music of Glee, this die-hard Gleek will point out that the cast's rendition of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" has just been certified Gold for digital sales in excess of 500,000 downloads. Boo-ya! So far, more than 2 million Glee songs have been bought online.

Chuck - NBC Considering Making More Episodes

UPDATE: NBC is ordering six more episodes of "Chuck" from Warner Bros.

That's in addition to the 13 already ordered.

The network has not yet confirmed, but sources say this is a "done deal."

The original plan was for "Chuck" to return in March.

Now sources say "Chuck" will likely return in January and will be partnered with "Heroes" on Monday nights.

As part of this plan, NBC will not order any more episodes of "Trauma."

Ausiello: The answer to both of your questions is a resounding yeppers. Better prepare yourself though. My Lost mole says season 6 will showcase “a version of Claire we’ve never seen before — a Rousseau-esque version.” We’ll be in need of a Rousseau fix since the real version will be MIA. According to a Lost insider, the French Lady’s portrayer, Mira Furlan, turned down the show’s request to return for the final season due to a “prior overseas commitment.” Anyone know how you say “big bag-o-nuts” in français?

Question: I’m tired of people bitching about Gossip Girl being in a creative slump. I’m loving this season. Got scoop? —Alex
Ausiello: I’m (mostly) loving this season, too. The Chuck-Blair stuff continues to be immensely satisfying. And Hilary Duff isn’t nearly as annoying as I thought she’d be. On the scoop front, there’s a big Blair-Serena blow-up coming. The frenemies will definitely be on the outs for a little bit.

Question: How was your trip to Austin? Bring back any scoop? —Carol
Ausiello: Let’s see… Aimee Teegarden is a really good sport, East Dillon’s team colors are red and white, and Connie Britton loves herself a margarita. And to answer your first question, Austin rocks. It’s my new favorite U.S. city. My one and only quibble: the fashion. It’s God-awful. Everyone wears the same ugly orange, horn-emblazoned shirts. Blech.

Question: What Friday Night Lights goodies did you bring us back from Austin? —Jason
Ausiello: Okay, here’s some real scoop: Adrianne Palicki’s returning! She’s scheduled to shoot her one and only season 4 episode later this month. Also, two FNL characters will frequent a gay bar within the first five episodes.

Question: Last week you mentioned that one of the core characters on Friday Night Lights turned into a douche over the summer. Please tell me it’s not Matt — he’s my favorite! —Lizzy
Ausiello: It’s not Matt. But you’re close. Hint: The douche’s name starts with J and ends with D. (And just to be clear, I’m referring to the character and not the actor portraying him. It’s a very important distinction.)

Question: When will we find out what Gibbs whispered to Ziva in last week’s episode of NCIS? —Jan
Ausiello: Not anytime soon. Per an NCIS insider, “What Gibbs whispered to Ziva will remain a secret… at least for now.”

Question: Can you give us some juicy NCIS scoop as an early Halloween treat? —Laurie
Ausiello: Do baby geniuses creep you out as much as they creep me out? If so, you’re going to love an episode the show has coming up next month in which the mysterious death of a Marine leads Gibbs and Co. to a high security Navy Think Tank — where the brilliant minds are actually (shudder) children! I think I just piddled my pantaloons.

Question: You were right: I was crying during the final scene of last week’s Grey’s Anatomy. My heart broke for Alex. Please tell me you have some good news about him. —Anita
Ausiello: He makes contact with Izzie this week. That’s the good news. Here’s the bad: She’s not coming out of hiding anytime soon.

Question: I’m a huge Kim Raver fan and I’m thrilled that she is joining Grey’s. Could you give us some scoop on her character? —Sabrina
Ausiello: She’s basically Cristina’s worst nightmare: a heart specialist who used to play doctor with Owen. That’s right, Owen’s ex is going to be Cristina’s (potential) mentor! Cue the dramaz!

Question: I have a feeling the Chief will get axed on Grey’s. —Troy
Ausiello: A word of advice: You’d make a terrible psychic. The Chief is not the one who gets fired. BTW, unlike Izzie, the doc getting pink-slipped this week won’t be back. Guesses? Head to the comments!

Ausiello: The latest buzz points to a January or February return.

Ausiello: Exec producer Jeff Pinkner isn’t ruling a comeback out. “We’ve already met Charlie’s doppelganger in the alternate reality,” he says. “He still exists.” Adds fellow e.p. J.H. Wyman: “No one ever really dies on Fringe.” BTW, Pinkner insists the exit of Kirk Acevedo’s G-man was strictly a creative decision and not a reflection on the actor himself (despite that whole Facebook debacle). “We wanted to take our team out of the FBI office and a little bit more underground,” he says, “and Charlie was a [casualty] of that.”

Question: Will we meet Olivia’s evil stepfather on Fringe this season? —Zakaria
Ausiello: “We’re talking about it,” responds Jeff Pinkner. “We definitely have been talking about that.”

Question: What happened to the new female FBI agent on Fringe? I thought she was sticking around all season. —Chris
Ausiello: According to Pinkner, Special Agent Jessup (Meghan Markle) is waiting in the wings and may pop up again in the future: “There was never any length of time [assigned to her stay],” he says. “There’s no end date. She’s an available tool in our toolbox and we’ll use her as we see fit. [But] we’re really trying to tell stories about our main characters… we want to get deeper with them, so we don’t have a lot of time to go into the FBI. I think our fans really want to get to know our [core] characters more and that’s what we’re endeavoring to do this year.”

Ausiello: Like her character, Kathryn Morris is spending a lot of time thinking about the past, even if she’s glad to still be around in the present. Cold Case’s close brush with network death (before eventually getting renewed for another season) has her feeling “a little more sentimental this year,” she says. “Everyone is waxing poetic about the good times. ‘Remember when you were sick with the flu in season two and I brought you chicken soup and we became best friends?’ ‘Remember that one time when I ripped a Dolce & Gabbana suit by walking by a rusty desk in homicide the first day they let me wear it? I’m sorry.’” Regarding the possibility of an eighth season, she says, “I think we are optimistic that we could go on as long as the audience wants us to. It isn’t like we will run out of crime in Philadelphia.”

Question: Why is Balthazar Getty’s name still listed in the opening credits of Brothers & Sisters? Is he still a series regular? —Shannon
Ausiello: No, he’s not. I did a little snooping and it turns out Getty asked that his name be kept in the opening credits as a condition of his return this season for a handful of episodes. Strange, right?

Question: When will all of the baby drama come out in the open on Glee? Finn and Will both need to get a clue. —Caroline
Ausiello: The truth comes out at some point between “Wheels” (episode 9) and “Sectionals” (episode 13). Speaking of Glee, look who’s on the cover of the new Entertainment Weekly!

Question: What’s going on with Hank? Will ABC pick it up for a full season? I’m not ashamed to admit I kind of find it funny. —Jessica
Ausiello: I’m not ashamed to admit your taste in television sucks. Just kidding. Not really. Actually, I may check back into the mediocre sitcom next month in light of this exclusive casting scoop: Swoosie Kurtz will play Kelsey Grammer’s mother-in-law in the show’s Thanksgiving episode.

Question: What’s this I hear about one of Lost’s planes going down on Wisteria Lane? Tell me this is not true. Desperate Housewives is solid enough, it doesn’t need any cross-promotion with other ABC shows. —Kellen
Ausiello: Someone at ABC suggested it might be fun to slap an Oceanic logo on the ill-fated plane, but the idea was quickly (and thankfully) nixed.

Question: How exactly did you become the all-knowing God of everything television? —Oliver
Ausiello: I thought I was standing in line for froyo. I wasn’t. True story.

Question: Have Olivia Wilde and Peter Jacobson left House for good? —Megan
Ausiello: No. The revolving door at Princeton-Plainsboro will spin yet again next month when Thirteen and Taub request their old jobs back. Coincidentally, that’s right around the time Cameron and Chase decide to quit and move to Chicago. (Guess which one of them changes their mind at the last minute!)

Question: Do you have any news regarding House, Wilson, and the progression of their relationship? —Xay
Ausiello: I’m hearing there’s tons of good House-Wilson action in episodes 10 and 11, including a scene my mole singles out as one of his/her “favorite Hilson moments ever.”

Ausiello: I think a more interesting question is, What will happen to Deb in the wake of said shooting? Or more specifically, whose house will she move into?

Question: What’s the latest on Zooey Deschanel guest-starring opposite her sis on Bones? —Lauren
Ausiello: It’s happening! Her deal closed earlier this week. As I previously reported, she’ll be playing Brennan’s never-before-seen cuz in the show’s Christmas episode on Dec. 10.

Ausiello: Dixon’s about to land himself a cougar! “A new woman comes into Dixon’s life, and she’s even older than Sasha,” teases exec producer Rebecca Sinclair. “It’s someone we’ve met before.”

Update: 17:00 Looks like this is an error according to NBC and they are changing it.

NBC.com has a new banner somewhat confusingly announcing Chuck will air on Thursdays at 7/8 Central (instead of 8/7 Central as would be typical), but there’s no mention of when that will start.

Is NBC about to dump Community and Parks & Recreation? Or is it just a mistake?

Will Heroes be Moving back to it's 9PM Timeslot!?

Hey All,
We just made a little post that Chuck might be returning as early as this month, back to Monday nights!!

I know some of you are Chuck fans so that is great news, but what does this mean for Heroes!? Will Trauma be moved/canceled and Heroes jump back into it's 9PM time slot!?

I think that would be the ideal scenario and right move by NBC. However, it is still possible NBC might move Heroes to a new night, but I honestly can't seem them doing that.

So what do you all think!? Are you excited yet!? Heroes possibly moving back to 9PM!

Chuck - NBC May Move Up Premiere Early

It’s good news (for me), bad news (for NBC): Since its numbers are down and its new and returning shows are mainly DOA (Southland was axed before new episodes even aired!), Chuck’s third season might get to premiere sooner than the March date that’s been bandied about thus far.

“How much sooner” you ask?

As early as late October, my moles tell me. And while it remains unclear whether the little show that could (and has and shall again) would return to its Monday timeslot or find itself a new perch, NBC insiders who’ve seen the first four episodes are calling this season the best yet.

But wait, there’s more. If Chuck does come back sooner rather than later, the chances of NBC ordering additional episodes beyond the 13 it initially commissioned increases dramatically.

Back in August, we asked forum members to help us in our quest to modernize the forum banner. Three weeks and thirty entries later, the submission phase closed and forum staff began the not so easy task of short-listing the entries. From the entries, we wanted to pick between 5 and 7 to be redesigned. We ended up picking 7 of them. Thirteen staff took part in the short-listing process.

The short-listed banners have since been redesigned and now face a public poll vote.

We would like to extend a big thank you to all that contributed ideas and designs to the competition. We were very impressed with all of the entries. Also, a big congratulations to those of you that have made it this far, to the public poll voting phase; BauerUK, Derandre, Elyse, Irfy, and Spatial.

Ausiello: I posed that question to Shankar, and, based on his evasiveness, I would say it’s probably being discussed. “I honestly can’t say [for sure] at this point,” he told me. “All I will say is we’re having a great time and I think Jorja is having a great time. I think she’s having more fun now than she did before. Having a little space from something, you get to clean your palate and be refreshed as an artist.”

Ausiello: I can confirm that, as it stands now, House tells someone he loves Cuddy.

Ausiello: Dwangela will eventually be reunited, according to both Angela Kinsey and Rainn Wilson. “They’re soul mates,” Kinsey told me on the Emmy red carpet. “They’re going to find each other.” Added Wilson: “I think they are destined to be together. I think it’s just a matter of when the writers need to dig that storyline back up and lay it back in.”

Ausiello: Um… er… There’s footage of Jim and Pam’s wedding floating around, and Jenna Fischer’s seen it! “I have seen a rough cut of the wedding episode and [fans] will be satisfied,” she told me on the Emmy red carpet. And how ’bout the honeymoon footage? Will that satisfy us as well? “We’re not taking the cameras on the honeymoon. Sorry. That’s for us.”

Question: What can you tell me about the episode of How I Met Your Mother that Neil Patrick Harris is directing? —Cole
Ausiello: I can tell you two things: It’s the Thanksgiving episode and it’ll feature an appearance by Lily’s dad.

Question: Will Olivia and Peter ever get together on Fringe? —Sara
Ausiello: Anna Torv doesn’t think the show should pull the trigger on Polivia for at least another year. “I think definitely we should wait until next season,” she told me at the Emmys. “That’s the way it goes on TV, right? You stretch it for as long as you can.” Yeah, that’s the drill. Torv also revealed that Olivia will get back “over there” in an upcoming episode. “We do go back and get to see the rest of that scene [from the finale].”

The other day I was wondering to myself, just what are the popular shows that we cover here at SpoilerTV. So I decided to come up with "The SpoilerTV Popularity Index". Now this is by no means a scientific set of results but it did yield some interesting results.

To judge a shows popularity here at SpoilerTV I took in the following metrics and used some formulas to come up with the index. These metrics were:

- Number of RSS Subscribers
- Number of Comments made on shows posts
- Number of ReTweets and Twitter links
- Number of Links to show posts on other sites
- Number of Sites using our embedded videos
- Number of people submitting news

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - September 21, 2009 - NBC.com is giving viewers of fan-favorite series "Chuck" and the critically acclaimed police-drama "Southland" the chance to play catch-up prior to the series' season premieres with streams of previous season episodes. As an extra bonus, NBC.com is also allowing viewers to get "up-to-date" by streaming current season episodes of "SNL Weekend Update Thursday."

"Southland" will include all season one episodes and will start streaming Monday, October 9.
