Jorja Fox Returning to CSI!

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Sara Sidle is coming back to "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation."

CBS said Friday that actress Jorja (JOR'jah) Fox, who plays Sara, will be part of the season premiere and other episodes.

The show's executive producer, Carol Mendelsohn, says viewers will find out where life has taken Sara and what brings her back to the CSI team in Las Vegas. The show returns Sept. 24, airing at 9 p.m. EDT Thursday.

Fox was a series regular since the show's first season, left during its eighth season and was seen briefly last season, the ninth for "CSI."

Deeply concerned about her brother, she contacts Danny, eager to provide him with important information regarding the killing of a cop. However, she gets little chance to speak candidly as gunfire rips across the high rise patio where Risa, Danny and Mac have gathered, killing Risa almost instantly. As you may have noticed the site has undergone a bit of a revamp thanks to my good friend Matt who has helped with the new design. We hope that you find the navigation a bit cleaner and that the site should load a bit quicker.

We are also working on the ability for you to select different Themes for how the site looks eg a a Fringe Theme, True Blood Theme, Lost Theme etc. These will be coming shortly. Below is a sneak peek of what the site might look like.

We are also venturing into the world of Show Recaps. Our first recapper "TV Obsessed" will be starting to post recaps of various shows and we hope you enjoy these as well as the spoilers, news and videos we provide.

Ausiello: We'll catch our first glimpse of new castmember Eddie Cibrian in one of episode's flashback sequences. Apparently, his character crossed paths with one (or more) of our vets back in 1997. Speaking of Cibrian's alter ego, exec producer Ann Donahue says reports that he'll be transferring from the Hollywood division is "a misnomer... He's actually worked robbery homicide in L.A."

Question: How soon into CSI: Miami's premiere before Delko is found? --Jimmy
Ausiello: "We find him in the first two minutes and he is unconscious," reveals Ann Donahue, who adds that the flashback portion of the ep begins while he's en route to the hospital. "The ambulance is hurtling down alligator alley and we [close in] on the license plate, which says '09. And then we change the license plate to '97 and suddenly he's in his tow truck."

STORY LINE
A brilliant, terminally ill man seeks revenge against those he holds responsible for his condition...CSI

[THE VOICE / VICTOR / GRAVE DIGGER] 40s, somewhat frail, heard but not seen for a good portion of the episode, this male voice that refers to himself as Grave Digger is labored, sickly, slow and pained, requiring drawn-out gasps for air. Victor is a somewhat frail, bald man with gnarled fingers and a brilliant mind. He sounds like a heavy smoker, but actually he's dying of cancer. Cold, spiteful, and malicious, he takes delight in the misfortunes and deaths of others. From his unknown location, Victor hacks into a GPS unit, luring an enemy into the worst neighborhood in NYC and ultimately causing the man's death. Victor also changes an electronic order at a restaurant so that a doctor with a peanut allergy is served a dish that will kill him, and he traps a medical technician in a hospital elevator. He seems to have knowledge of Mac's father, and taunts Mac with painful memories. His goal is revenge against those who cut him off from receiving chemotherapy. However, he has no interest in treatment anymore; he just wants his enemies to suffer...GUEST STAR (1)

As Delko lies in a coma, we get to see his first murder case with the Miami-Dade PD, back in 1997, before the team came to be who they are today...

[DETECTIVE JACK] In his early to mid 50s, a sharp, experienced, old-school homicide cop in a suit and tie, he is seen in 1997, partnered with a younger Horatio. They've worked together a long time and have a solid rapport and shorthand speech with one another, but lately a rift has developed between them based on their different investigative methods. He jumps to conclusions sometimes and doesn't care for Horatio's insistence on scientific evidence; instead, he prefers good old-fashioned police work...GUEST STAR

[LIEUTENANT FRED] In his 50s, curmudgeonly and set in his ways, he is seen in 1997, as the experienced, condescending head of what passes for the crime lab ten years ago. TIM: The show recently sent out casting notices for the new series regular role of Kaye Sullivan, a young, attractive risk-taker whose personality has elements of Lindsay, Dr. Peyton Driscoll and ADA Natalie Greer (played for two episodes by Heather Mazur). How do we know? Because the audition script prepared for prospective Kaye Sullivans consists of dialogue spoken by those familiar characters.

Ausiello: Sources confirm that Adam Rodriguez will be back next season, so, yeah, I think it's safe to say Delko survives. Meanwhile, we caught up with Rodriguez' former co-star, Rory Cochrane, at the premiere of his new film, Public Enemies, and asked him whether another Speedle cameo was in his future. His answer was, um, interesting. "I can't really talk about it," he said. "They talked to me about something that I cannot get into details about... I did come back once as a figment of Delko's imagination, but I am pretty sure that is it for me on that show. I told them not to kill me but they didn't take my advice."

Ausiello: I can tell you that it's not a replacement for either Anna Belknap or Melina Kanakaredes. Both are officially returning next season. Not sure about the rest of the cast.
