They might be slightly less glamorous—he's a Mohawked jock; she's a Slurpee-covered geek—but they are currently E! Online readers' most-asked-about pairing.
We're talkin' bout Puck (Mark Salling) and Rachel (Lea Michele) of course (no, not the ones from The Real World: San Francisco), about whom you Glee fans are apparently obsessing after the latest episode. And how can we blame you? After all, he evoked the magical courtship powers of Neil Diamond! And they are pretty. Darn. Cute.

Pauline in Paris: I'm in love with Puck and Rachel from Glee! I never thought they would happen, but the last episode was beyond amazing. They have the most perfect chemistry! Please tell me there's more to come!
Sorry, there isn't any more Puck-Rachel stuff coming in the immediate future. The next ep of Glee, "Wheels," airs Nov. 11, and by the end of it, your shipper allegiance might swing back from Puck-Rachel to Puck-Quinn. (I know, scandal!) Puck steps up in amazing way to help his baby mama (Dianna Agron) when she needs money to pay for her ultrasound bill, and they even get thisclose to smooching, courtesy of a food fight. Puck even throws down with Finn (Cory Monteith), when he thinks Finn isn't doing enough to provide for the baby. Meanwhile, Jenna Ushkowitz, who plays Tina (and does not stutter in real life) tells us there's more Finn and Rachel on the way: "All I can say is Finn definitely has some major decisions to make, and Finn and Quinn aren't exactly on the best of terms. So you may see some more of that [between Finn and Rachel]."

Tina in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.: More Glee please!
The next episode also features some supercute romantic scenes between Artie (Kevin McHale) and Tina. By the way, between the Quinn-Puck scenes, the Artie-Tina scenes, some very surprising scenes featuring Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) and a storyline involving Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Kurt's dad, we dare you not to cry at least once during the next ep of Glee. It's that good and that heartbreaking.

Michelle in Galveston, Texas: How will the hospital change after Jennifer Morrison leaves House? I'm worried her absence will implode the team.
We just caught up with Lisa Edelstein, and she told us: "I think [Cameron's departure] will tighten up the team a little bit. There will be a loss of that character, which is a great character. It will continue on its merry way. We were all sad. I don't think she's gone for good. They say she's going to be coming and going." Yay for the coming back part! We certainly hope that is the case.

Lilly in Oregon: So glad 30 Rock is back. It's totally awesome! Do you have any scoop?
In honor of Halloween, it's time to trot out that ol' 30 Rock-originated holiday standard, "Werewolf Bar Mitzvah," and mash it up with the werewolves sneak peek from New Moon. Seriously, if you haven't seen this yet, you must go watch. It is hilarious, and the perfect use of Tracy Morgan's masterpiece. And speaking of Twilight, did you spot the poster of Edward Cullen in Astor's room last night on Dexter? Awesome shout-out to Dexter exec producer cum Twilight screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg—not to mention exactly the right decor for any tween girl's bedroom.

ADL in N.J.: I can't believe Izzie left Alex on Grey's Anatomy! Will they get back together soon?
All we can promise is that Izzie will be back soon—Katherine Heigl is back on the set of Grey's Anatomy this week, along with Ellen Pompeo—but no promises about a full Alex-Izzie reunion. (I mean, if you were Alex, you'd be pretty pissed at Izzie right about now, wouldn't you? Hmmm, maybe Sarah Drew should move in for the kill?)

Suzi in Kent, Ohio: That new doctor with the green eyes on Grey's is so hot. Is he going to have a Seattle Grace romance any time soon?
Dr. "Beautiful Green Eyes" is still on the market, Jesse Williams himself dished exclusively to us. "Jackson's about working and just kind of being really effective and not being involved in the business of 'he said, she said' and backstories and stuff," the Grey's addition told us. "But who are we kidding here? It's Grey's Anatomy; I'm sure there is something around the corner. I'm just waiting to hear." Besides yourself, who do you want to see this hunk with?

Dere in Martin, Tenn.: Who was that new lawyer on The Good Wife? I have seen her in a few movies. She was outstanding. Is she coming back to be a regular? I hope so. After that episode I was officially hooked. This show keeps getting better. Makes me think of one of my favorite shows of all time, The Practice.
Patricia Nyholm, the new lawyer on The Good Wife, was played by the always-awesome Martha Plimpton (who also just starred on Grey's). We hear that The Good Wife's exec producers love both the character and Martha and definitely hope to bring her back down the line.

Ashley in San Francisco: I know it's early, but do you have any news about 24? I miss Jack Bauer!
Did you see the awesome, brand-new season-eight trailers that were leaked online? It's so cute when Jack Bauer thinks he's gotten out, because they always suck him back in! Plus, Freddie Prinze Jr. has joined the cast of 24, which is just, well, amusing.

Lindsey M.: What's going on with 10 Things I Hate About You? Will it be back or is it over?
ABC Family renewed 10 Things (yay!), and it's probably coming back in early 2010, probably within a month of the Jan. 11 premieres of Make It or Break It and Secret Life of the American Teenager. As show runner Carter Covington told us this year, the back 10 episodes will include a lot of Patrick Verona (Ethan Peck) backstory and more of the love triangle between Bianca, Chastity and Joey.

Rebecca: Spill it! Who's the dead father who's coming back? My money is on Christian Shephard of Lost!
Nope. It's actually Bart Bass of Gossip Girl. How crazytown is that?! A source tells me that Robert John Burke (the senior Basshole) will be returning to the show in December, just in time to make it a very special Gossip Girl Christmas. P.S. When I hinted that "two blondes will be atwitter" I was referring to Lily Rhodes van der Woodsen Bass Humphrey and Gossip Girl herself (Kristen Bell), who will certainly Twitter the news!—but of course Serena also would count. Whaddya think of that twist?

Margo in New York: Will Carter be back on Gossip Girl? I loved him with Serena! And is Georgina gone for good?
My friends at the CW tell me there are currently no plans to bring back Carter (boo!). And Michelle Trachtenberg is starring in that other show that's not Parks & Rec or Community and was just picked up by NBC (Mercy), so she's otherwise occupied at the moment. We took your question to her, and she answered: "Georgina has taken a little trip. She's gone off with who she thinks is a Russian prince. But as Georgina goes, you never see the end of her. She always comes back and torments."

Marcellus: How about something on One Tree Hill? Give us some love!
Someone on One Tree Hill is going to try to commit suicide.

Agatha in Idaho: Vampire Diaries, please! Any good scoop?
Buffy is coming! OK, not exactly Buffy/Sarah Michelle Gellar (though now that her pilot has probably not been picked up, she should stop by), but I'm told that a vampire slayer will visit Mystic Falls. Clearly this doesn't bode well for Stefan.

Valerie in Michigan: Dexter and Rita's relationship problems are stressing me out. Please tell me they aren't going to break up!
As we first reported earlier this month, Dexter and Rita are in trouble, and they'll be going to couples counseling with Roma Maffia beginning next week. We asked Julie Benz herself if this means fans should be worried about Rita and Dexter's relationship over the long haul, and she told us, "Ummm...no. [Pause.] Maybe! I'm not gonna say." OK, we're going to cling to that original no until further notice.

Shannon in Phoenix, Ariz.: I know Adam Rodriguez is leaving/has left CSI: Miami. Was last week's episode his last?
Insiders tell us that you will definitely see Delko again on CSI: Miami, but the when remains a closely held secret, so you keep watching!

Jess in Cortland, N.Y.: Now that the big Melrose Place murder mystery is kind of ruined, can you tell us anything about Heather Locklear's return to the show?
Heather is back on Melrose for the long haul, and her storyline is juicy. Plus, Sydney is sticking around! Jessica Lucas (Riley) tells us that after the not-so-big murder reveal, the show shifts to lots of Amanda Woodward and whatever it is she's hiding. "The back nine will be focusing on Heather. There is some kind of mystery there between her and Sydney, so Laura Leighton may be staying on in some form," says Jessica. As for the spoiled send-off, don't be too upset. Melrose's resident teacher says the reveal is still pretty amazing. "Episode 12 is the whole wrap of the murder mystery, so something really shocking happens in the pool. It ties in with the murder mystery, but it's something completely unexpected."

Trina in Houston: What about Jonah and Riley? With Colin Egglesfield leaving Melrose Place, will this couple make it?
Jessica Lucas tells us she isn't really sure: "The next couple of episodes are dealing with Riley and Jonah deciding whether or not they want to stay together and do they have enough of a strong foundation." And Jenna Dewan's feisty Kendra isn't making things any easier. "Kendra's another example of someone who really knows what she's talking about, and he has a strong connection to her, so she plays into their rough patch."

Jenna in Petaluma, Calif.: I can't believe they're getting rid of Auggie on Melrose Place! They should have gotten rid of stupid Jonah instead—he doesn't do anything, and he's a big loser!
Jonah (Michael Rady) is actually going to be doing well quite soon on Melrose Place. His movie is going into production, and Ella (Katie Cassidy) is even working to get a fictional version of Seth Rogen to take the lead role.

Carrie in Seattle: If Kristen Bell is coming back to Party Down, does that mean Henry and Casey are done for good?
Not quite. Adam Scott (Henry) tells us hope is still alive for Party Down's will-they, won't-they couple: "There's still some potential there. They kind of pretend they don't love each other, but Henry's totally in love with Casey (Lizzy Caplan), pretending he doesn't care." Squee!

Matt in Ramona, Calif.: Thanks for spilling the news about Kristen Bell and Jane Lynch returning to Party Down! Are there any other guest stars to look forward to?
So many! First, Steve Guttenberg was filming scenes as himself when we recently stopped by the Party Down set—and yes, before you ask, we did make a joke about Veronica Mars genius Rob Thomas having a bit of a man crush on the Gutt (hey, who doesn't?). Steve invites the P.D. crew to hang at his pad after he forgets to cancel a catering gig he had booked. Christopher Mintz-Plasse of Superbad fame (McLovin'!) is in the ep, too, and Adam Scott tells us things get pretty steamy. "We shot a scene in a hot tub, and I've got McLovin to my left, Megan Mullally to the left of him and Steve Guttenberg over there. It's like pop culture soup."

Penelope in York, Pa.: Is Ashley Magnus really dead on Sanctuary?
Sources confirm that yes, Ashley Magnus really died on Syfy's Sanctuary, and that Emilie Ullerup has left the cast of the show. Are you guys bummed to hear that, or are you OK with the change?

Lina in New York: Any more hints on the brutal Sons of Anarchy death? We're dying to know out here!
When we said that the brutal death on Sons of Anarchy was not a man in uniform, most you assumed that only eliminated Hale, Uncer and Trammell, but if you think about it, those MC cuts sure are a lot like uniforms. You can take everyone in a motorcycle gang out of the death pool, and we'll throw in Johnny Lewis' Prospect/Half-Sack as a bonus elimination. Tell us in the comments if you've figured out who that leaves in danger.

Gil in Phoenix: Am I sensing a Chloe-Oliver pairing on Smallville?

Dexter fans should stop crying over the shocking October 18 death of Frank Lundy (Keith Carradine) and brace themselves for something far worse. “Everything changes at the end of this season,” Jennifer Carpenter (Deb) said at the 2009 Scream Awards. “Dexter will never be the same.”

The actress told me the Showtime series was so protective of its top-secret December 13 season finale that she had to sneak on set to witness the gruesome climax of John Lithgow’s bloody reign of terror as the Trinity Killer. “I was so curious that I showed up at 1:30 in the morning to see what they were shooting, so I know!” says Jennifer (who probably could have wrangled the secret out of her real-life husband and Dexter star, Michael C. Hall). “Let’s just say maybe all of our trailers won’t be there next year.” Could I have been right about Dexter’s wife, Rita (Julie Benz), getting the ax? Or the hammer? Or the ice pick?

There were a lot of dirty tricks on TV this week. Jo Reynolds (Daphne Zuniga) cajoled poor Riley into posing topless on Melrose Place. House and Foreman conducted an autopsy on a living person. Gossip Girl's Chuck kissed a guy because of Blair's deception. CSI: Miami's Eric Delko tricked us all by slinking off into the night with barely any explanation. Welcome to this week's Top Moments: Dirty Tricks Edition.

14. Best Reveal: We already knew that Desperate Housewives' Julie Mayer likes to date older men. (Remember guest star Steven Weber?) But it's still shocking to find out that the formerly innocent science nerd has a married lover, creepy dad Dominic "Nick" Bolen, who we see surreptitiously visiting her in the hospital.

13. Most Enlightening Reintroduction: Jo Reynolds (Daphne Zuniga) returns to Melrose Place to photograph newbie model Riley for a denim campaign. One problem: Jo's kind of a bitch now. The wide-eyed Riley tells Jo she admires the photographs she took in Darfur. Jo is nonplussed, then peeved to be working with an amateur, and changes the subject by insisting that Riley pose topless.

12. Most Shocking Surprise: On House, when a patient dies hours after Dr. House discharges him, the cranky doc wants to crack open the poor sap's chest to see what the heck happened. He and Foreman do so with an electric saw, but stop when the cadaver inexplicably starts bleeding. As they lean in to get a better look, the so-called corpse springs to life and screams bloody murder. Guess the EMTs really botched that call.

11. Best Confrontation: Grey's Anatomy's shining moment is a quiet, calm conversation between Derek Shepherd and the Chief in which Derek admonishes the Chief for allowing chaos to become the standard at Seattle Grace.

10. Best Kiss, Part I: Blair tricks Chuck into kissing Mr. Ellis so she can give the coveted freshman toast at NYU's parents' dinner on Gossip Girl. "You really think I never kissed a guy before?" Chuck asks, thinking his bi-curious overtures will fuel his lady's passions. Alas, what Chuck thought was a sex game was a game of another sort to the scheming B.

9. Best Redefinition of Ugly: Betty Suarez is a big-time magazine editor now, so it's time for a new fashion statement. On the Season 4 premiere of Ugly Betty, she unveils a new, pared-down look that tames the frizzy hair and keeps the clashing patterns under control. She still has braces and more eyebrow than Groucho Marx, but... baby steps, people!

8. Worst Luck in Love: On Dexter, just after Deb finally gives in to her feelings for Lundy and spends an intimate evening with him, gunshots sound, and they both fall to the ground. Girl can't catch a break.

7. Worst Swan Song: Eric Delko (Adam Rodriguez), a CSI: Miami staple for the entire series, decides he wants to leave the CSI unit — and Calleigh — all in the space of one episode. There's hardly time to tell us why and where he's going, so... he doesn't. Fans of the Calleigh-Eric romance are rightly outraged. We're supposed to believe that after all that pursuit he gives up just like that? Is this really the last we'll see of Delko?

6. Best Kiss, Part II: An orgiastic frenzy on Eastwick inspires a spontaneous kiss between Joanna (Lindsay Price) and Penny (Sara Rue). The next morning, Penny makes it clear that she's only into boys. But that's the least of Joanna's worries, as Penny is dating the mysterious new guy who will eventually kill Roxanne.

5. Saddest Departure: In what Jeff Probst calls his "scariest moment" on Survivor, Galu tribe leader Russell Swan collapses in the middle of a reward challenge and is taken out of the show. The normally stoic competitor cries upon hearing that he'll have to leave. "My family depends on me to be the strong one," he says.

4. Most Uncomfortable: Modern Family patriarch Jay asks his son, Mitch, and Mitch's boyfriend, Cameron, if they'd hit on him in "one of your bars." ("I know I'm not Erik Estrada or anything," Jay says.) Mitch demurs ("You are really close to ruining gay for me," he says), but Cameron offers him a hearty thumbs-up. Awk-ward!

3. Worst Lucky Charm: Dancing with the Stars pro Anna Demidova tells her partner, Michael Irvin, to imagine that he's holding a nickel between his buttocks in order to improve his posture for the paso doble. Irvin, not much for metaphors, actually clenches a coin during rehearsals, which he later presents to living punchline/judge Bruno Tonioli for inspiring him. "I don't know if that's the kind of tip he wants," snarks co-host Samantha Harris.

2. Most Troubling Assembly of Details: We suspend our disbelief for Glee's flights of fancy all the time. But please explain why, if Emma has asked Will for dancing lessons, he is serenading her with "The Thong Song." Emma is wearing her cousin's wedding dress standing completely still while Will flails like the Ghost of Spring Break Past? Not a very good teacher!

1. Best Discovery: In a Mad Men reveal three seasons in the making, Betty finally unlocks both Don's desk drawer and the mystery of her husband's secret life. Betty waits up all night to confront Don, who never arrives. Instead, she puts the box — and her true self — back in its place, keeping quiet and playing her part as a trophy wife. For now.

Question: Is Emilie de Ravin going to be back on Lost for the whole season or just a few episodes? And will we get to see what happened to her? —Jared
Ausiello: The answer to both of your questions is a resounding yeppers. Better prepare yourself though. My Lost mole says season 6 will showcase “a version of Claire we’ve never seen before — a Rousseau-esque version.” We’ll be in need of a Rousseau fix since the real version will be MIA. According to a Lost insider, the French Lady’s portrayer, Mira Furlan, turned down the show’s request to return for the final season due to a “prior overseas commitment.” Anyone know how you say “big bag-o-nuts” in français?

Question: I’m tired of people bitching about Gossip Girl being in a creative slump. I’m loving this season. Got scoop? —Alex
Ausiello: I’m (mostly) loving this season, too. The Chuck-Blair stuff continues to be immensely satisfying. And Hilary Duff isn’t nearly as annoying as I thought she’d be. On the scoop front, there’s a big Blair-Serena blow-up coming. The frenemies will definitely be on the outs for a little bit.

Question: How was your trip to Austin? Bring back any scoop? —Carol
Ausiello: Let’s see… Aimee Teegarden is a really good sport, East Dillon’s team colors are red and white, and Connie Britton loves herself a margarita. And to answer your first question, Austin rocks. It’s my new favorite U.S. city. My one and only quibble: the fashion. It’s God-awful. Everyone wears the same ugly orange, horn-emblazoned shirts. Blech.

Question: What Friday Night Lights goodies did you bring us back from Austin? —Jason
Ausiello: Okay, here’s some real scoop: Adrianne Palicki’s returning! She’s scheduled to shoot her one and only season 4 episode later this month. Also, two FNL characters will frequent a gay bar within the first five episodes.

Question: Last week you mentioned that one of the core characters on Friday Night Lights turned into a douche over the summer. Please tell me it’s not Matt — he’s my favorite! —Lizzy
Ausiello: It’s not Matt. But you’re close. Hint: The douche’s name starts with J and ends with D. (And just to be clear, I’m referring to the character and not the actor portraying him. It’s a very important distinction.)

Question: When will we find out what Gibbs whispered to Ziva in last week’s episode of NCIS? —Jan
Ausiello: Not anytime soon. Per an NCIS insider, “What Gibbs whispered to Ziva will remain a secret… at least for now.”

Question: Can you give us some juicy NCIS scoop as an early Halloween treat? —Laurie
Ausiello: Do baby geniuses creep you out as much as they creep me out? If so, you’re going to love an episode the show has coming up next month in which the mysterious death of a Marine leads Gibbs and Co. to a high security Navy Think Tank — where the brilliant minds are actually (shudder) children! I think I just piddled my pantaloons.

Question: You were right: I was crying during the final scene of last week’s Grey’s Anatomy. My heart broke for Alex. Please tell me you have some good news about him. —Anita
Ausiello: He makes contact with Izzie this week. That’s the good news. Here’s the bad: She’s not coming out of hiding anytime soon.

Question: I’m a huge Kim Raver fan and I’m thrilled that she is joining Grey’s. Could you give us some scoop on her character? —Sabrina
Ausiello: She’s basically Cristina’s worst nightmare: a heart specialist who used to play doctor with Owen. That’s right, Owen’s ex is going to be Cristina’s (potential) mentor! Cue the dramaz!

Question: I have a feeling the Chief will get axed on Grey’s. —Troy
Ausiello: A word of advice: You’d make a terrible psychic. The Chief is not the one who gets fired. BTW, unlike Izzie, the doc getting pink-slipped this week won’t be back. Guesses? Head to the comments!

Question: Any update on when Chuck is coming back? —Gary
Ausiello: The latest buzz points to a January or February return.

Question: Have we seen the last of Charlie on Fringe? —Kevin
Ausiello: Exec producer Jeff Pinkner isn’t ruling a comeback out. “We’ve already met Charlie’s doppelganger in the alternate reality,” he says. “He still exists.” Adds fellow e.p. J.H. Wyman: “No one ever really dies on Fringe.” BTW, Pinkner insists the exit of Kirk Acevedo’s G-man was strictly a creative decision and not a reflection on the actor himself (despite that whole Facebook debacle). “We wanted to take our team out of the FBI office and a little bit more underground,” he says, “and Charlie was a [casualty] of that.”

Question: Will we meet Olivia’s evil stepfather on Fringe this season? —Zakaria
Ausiello: “We’re talking about it,” responds Jeff Pinkner. “We definitely have been talking about that.”

Question: What happened to the new female FBI agent on Fringe? I thought she was sticking around all season. —Chris
Ausiello: According to Pinkner, Special Agent Jessup (Meghan Markle) is waiting in the wings and may pop up again in the future: “There was never any length of time [assigned to her stay],” he says. “There’s no end date. She’s an available tool in our toolbox and we’ll use her as we see fit. [But] we’re really trying to tell stories about our main characters… we want to get deeper with them, so we don’t have a lot of time to go into the FBI. I think our fans really want to get to know our [core] characters more and that’s what we’re endeavoring to do this year.”

Question: Do you have any Smallville spoilers? —Michelle

Ausiello: Like her character, Kathryn Morris is spending a lot of time thinking about the past, even if she’s glad to still be around in the present. I’m sorry.’” Regarding the possibility of an eighth season, she says, “I think we are optimistic that we could go on as long as the audience wants us to. It isn’t like we will run out of crime in Philadelphia.”

Question: Why is Balthazar Getty’s name still listed in the opening credits of Brothers & Sisters? Is he still a series regular? —Shannon
Ausiello: No, he’s not. I did a little snooping and it turns out Getty asked that his name be kept in the opening credits as a condition of his return this season for a handful of episodes. Strange, right?

Question: When will all of the baby drama come out in the open on Glee? Finn and Will both need to get a clue. —Caroline
Ausiello: The truth comes out at some point between “Wheels” (episode 9) and “Sectionals” (episode 13). Speaking of Glee, look who’s on the cover of the new Entertainment Weekly!

Question: What’s going on with Hank? Will ABC pick it up for a full season? I’m not ashamed to admit I kind of find it funny. —Jessica
Ausiello: I’m not ashamed to admit your taste in television sucks. Just kidding. Not really. Actually, I may check back into the mediocre sitcom next month in light of this exclusive casting scoop: Swoosie Kurtz will play Kelsey Grammer’s mother-in-law in the show’s Thanksgiving episode.

Question: What’s this I hear about one of Lost’s planes going down on Wisteria Lane? Tell me this is not true. Desperate Housewives is solid enough, it doesn’t need any cross-promotion with other ABC shows. —Kellen
Ausiello: Someone at ABC suggested it might be fun to slap an Oceanic logo on the ill-fated plane, but the idea was quickly (and thankfully) nixed.

Question: How exactly did you become the all-knowing God of everything television? —Oliver
Ausiello: I thought I was standing in line for froyo. I wasn’t. True story.

Question: Have Olivia Wilde and Peter Jacobson left House for good? —Megan
Ausiello: No. The revolving door at Princeton-Plainsboro will spin yet again next month when Thirteen and Taub request their old jobs back. Coincidentally, that’s right around the time Cameron and Chase decide to quit and move to Chicago. (Guess which one of them changes their mind at the last minute!)

Question: Do you have any news regarding House, Wilson, and the progression of their relationship? —Xay
Ausiello: I’m hearing there’s tons of good House-Wilson action in episodes 10 and 11, including a scene my mole singles out as one of his/her “favorite Hilson moments ever.”

Ausiello: It’s happening! Her deal closed earlier this week. As I previously reported, she’ll be playing Brennan’s never-before-seen cuz in the show’s Christmas episode on Dec. 10.

ADAM: Just because we haven't seen Callzona's sexy time on-screen, there's no reason to believe the ladies have intimacy issues. "I'm sure they've done that. I mean, come on!" Sara Ramirez tells us. Ramirez does, however, see potential speed bumps ahead. "They will deal with some very universal relationship-type issues," she says. "I'm kind of nervous for Callie — she's never been this happy for so long. Something's going to happen."

Andre Braugher was fantastic on the House season premiere. Any chance he'll return if House needs more counseling? — DeeBee
MICKEY: He won't be, since he's landed on a new show, Men of a Certain Age, with Ray Romano and Scott Bakula, which debuts on TNT in December. That said, House executive Katie Jacobs speaks very highly of Braugher and told us she'd love to figure out a way to bring Dr. Nolan back into the fold.

Oct.13's Heroes may have been overshadowed by Claire's random lesbian kiss, but for me the best parts were the ones with Emma and Peter. Please tell me we're going to see a lot more of Emma's beautiful power. — Samantha D.
ADAM: I got an emphatic yes from creator Tim Kring, who promises that the crack Emma made in her wall is the just the beginning of what she's capable of with all those magical colors. Kring also says a certain carnival leader will take an interest in Emma's power once he sees its value to his still-unclear plan.

MICKEY: It's hard being a kid, especially one who grows up on Wisteria Lane. This might explain the shocking news that one of our Desperate Offspring is soon to be admitted to the hospital to have his or her stomach pumped. Was it an accident or a suicide attempt? I know you think you know who it is, but you don't.

In dealing with Angel's death, Flack has been a different character this season. How will his downward spiral play out on CSI: NY? — Clarisse
ADAM: Things are going to get worse before they get better. Executive producer Pam Veasey tells me that Flack will continue to fall until he hits emotional rock bottom. It's only then that, with the help of friends and an unlikely ally, Flack will bounce back.

I have this feeling like Nate Kendall is going to pop up again on Law & Order: SVU — can you confirm or deny? — Iris
MICKEY: I can do neither, and I'll tell you why. I'm getting official denials all around, but more than one source has told me that Wentworth Miller's time on SVU isn't done, and that a surprise reappearance is in the works for later in the season. This time, all those fireworks with Benson will express themselves differently.

I need NCIS scoop! With his basement now empty, will Gibbs start work on another boat? — Phillip
ADAM: What would you say if I told you Gibbs' boat will return to the show in November? Nothing? Well, what if executive producer Shane Brennan told you? "I won't say where it returns to or where it returns from, but I think anyone who has watched the series and the progress of the boat is going to love the episode," Brennan says. "The boat is featured in a way that is very NCIS."

MICKEY: Well, Kerry, everyone knows that happy couples equal deadly-boring TV. They had to break them up. The good news is that the spring episodes are promising a major lovefest when three (yes, three!) couples reconcile within the space of a few weeks. On the other hand, Teddy Montgomery and Kelly Taylor will be left out in the cold.

Are Tess and Oliver going to be hooking up this season on Smallville? — Kaitlyn
ADAM: Don't look to see them getting BIZ-AY on screen any time soon. For what it's worth, Cassidy Freeman shares your disappointment. "Tess is a sex goddess, but she never gets a love scene," Freeman tells us. "She's a temptress, but she's kind of a prude."

But just when he gets Trinity in his sights, Dexter makes a shocking discovery about the cyclical killer. I'll only say this: Trinity and Dexter have something in common we've never imagined.

Did Alan Ball give any hints about who is going to die next season on True Blood? — Andy
MICKEY: Ball, the show's executive producer, plays a great game of "Not Gonna Tell," as we learned the hard way. But after consulting the official Mega Buzz Facial Cues Reader, we're going with Maxine Fortenberry and not Lorena.

Mickey's Mega Rave: Like Izzie, I was duped by Grey's Anatomy's Dr. Charles Denman (Robert Baker), who distracted me with his everyguy charm. His cutting betrayal of Izzie, his "surgical bitch," played out with just the right notes of insecurity, cruelty and, ultimately, sincerity. Whether he ends up a good guy or a bad guy, he's an excellent addition to the cast.

Adam's Mini Rant: Bad move sending Padma hater Ash home before Laurine, whose food one Top Chef judge compared to cat food. Then again, I guess it doesn't matter what order the cheftestants leave — we've known who will make the final four since the third week.

4x05 - Dirty Harry
Recent events spur Dexter into his own investigation of the Trinity killer. His motivations are now personal, and the clock is ticking. But the closer Dexter gets, the more he realizes that Trinity is unlike any monster he’s previously encountered. Meanwhile, Debra blames herself for events that were out of her control, and in so doing pushes away those closest to her. As LaGuerta and Batista close in on the Vacation Murderers, Batista realizes he can use Quinn’s relationship with a certain reporter to his advantage. And when Rita discovers a secret Dexter’s been keeping from her, she begins to realize just how little she knows about the man she married.

4x06 - If I Had A Hammer
Dexter knows it’s only a matter of time before Miami Metro discovers the Trinity Killer’s latest handiwork. Therefore, he has to work doubly hard to stay one step ahead of their investigation. Dexter has begun to realize that the closer he gets to Trinity, the more he stands to learn from this very different beast. Trinity hides behind a well-kept mask, and getting behind that facade will require some extra prodding on Dexter’s part. Meanwhile, Debra becomes frustrated when she finds herself shut out from her own case. She considers bending the rules in the name of justice, risking her career in the process. LaGuerta and Batista come to regret a major decision, and realize that by playing by the rules they may have painted themselves into a corner. And when the friction between Rita and Dexter comes to a head, Dexter gleans relationship advice from a most unlikely source.

4x07 - Slack Tide
Dexter finds himself enjoying a brief moment of tranquility. He's finally managed to strike a balance between work, family... and other pursuits. But he's keenly aware that times like these aren't meant to last. When Miami Metro discovers a string of murders connected to a prominent photographer, Dexter sees an opportunity for a clean kill. However, his plans seem to be thwarted every step of the way. Quinn has taken a renewed interest in Dexter's nightlife. Dexter's plans to keep Astor and Cody distracted with new activities soon backfire. Even Harry disapproves of Dexter's choice of pastime, urging him instead to focus his efforts on the Trinity Killer. Meanwhile, Debra returns to work, frustrated to find everyone treating her with kid gloves. She decides to concentrate on her pursuit of the Trinity Killer as well as delving into her father's checkered past – investigations which Dexter fears might lead her to danger – or worse, the truth.

4x08 - Road Kill
Dexter has always known his father’s Code was meant to protect him from exposure. But after committing a serious mistake, he wonders if it could have been designed to protect him from something even more dangerous – human emotion. When he discovers that Trinity is planning an out-of-town trip, Dexter sees an opportunity to ride along and gain insight into the mind of a fellow monster. Even so, Dexter isn’t prepared for the startling revelations Trinity makes along the way, revelations about his own past which only serve to convince Dexter of what he must do. Meanwhile, back at Miami Metro, Debra refuses to let a technicality keep her off the Trinity case. She works through others to ensure her voice is heard – that is, until she realizes that her single-minded pursuit of the Trinity Killer may have blinded her to the truth.

4x09 - Hungry Man
For most people, Thanksgiving is a time for traditions and family. But for Dexter, it’s an opportunity to get closer to his most dangerous adversary yet. As Dexter gains insight into Arthur’s psychology by studying those closest to him, he finds himself drawn into a bizarre and twisted world. Meanwhile, Rita has her hands full preparing dinner for a packed house, including a few unexpected guests. Batista gets closure on an old case, while Debra uses the holiday to continue her investigation of the Trinity Killer, a pursuit which threatens her brother’s safety and brings to light surprising revelations about someone else close to her.

4x10 - Lost Boys
Dexter finally believes he understands the beast known as Trinity. But when a ten-year old boy goes missing, Dexter is forced to question everything he’s learned up to this point. It’s a race against the clock. And with each step forward, Dexter has to confront the real possibility that he may have more in common with Trinity than he’d like to admit. Secrets abound – from Cody, who is forced to defend one of Dexter’s lies, Masuka, who can’t bring himself to confess what he witnessed at Thanksgiving, and Debra, whose recent discoveries force one of Miami’s finest into making an impossible decision.

Ausiello: Listen to me very carefully, because I’m only going to say this once: Never. Gonna. Happen. But Washington kinda-sorta gets a shout-out in this week’s episode when Owen-lovin’ Cristina utters three shocking words: “I miss Burke.”

Question: Sounds like you’ve already seen this week’s Grey’s, so I’ve got a Q: Any good Mer-Der scenes? —Megan
Ausiello: Nothing stands out on the Mer-Der front, but there’s a memorable Mer-Cristina-Alex scene at the end that will have you crying and laughing (and in that order).

Question: Any Grey’s scoop? —Sharon
Ausiello: You already know that someone gets fired in this week’s episode. But what you may not know is that someone gets fired next week, too!

Question: Julie Benz just Twittered a photo of a guy she says will be part of a big reveal in the Dexter season finale. What can you tell us about this? —Matt
Ausiello: Here’s what I can tell you: If this guy is who I think he is, fans are not going to be happy.

Ausiello: Mean enough to drive her BFF away. I hear Jenny and Eric’s relationship will suffer big time due to her new “Queen Bee” status.

Question: I’m thrilled Jorja Fox is sticking with CSI, but what about William Petersen? I want to see Grissom and Sara together. —Alex
Ausiello: They were just together, albeit off screen. As exec producer Carol Mendelsohn tells me, Sara will reveal in this week’s episode that she “just got back from visiting Grissom in Paris.” Mendelsohn adds that, “We have no plans for Billy to return at the moment, but the door’s always open.”

Question: Will we see a storyline involving Chloe and Oliver on Smallville anytime soon? —Marie
Ausiello: Yes, very soon. Next Friday’s episode, “Roulette,” is all about Oliver, with a little Chloe twist thrown in.

Question: Why are you ignoring the No. 1 show in the ratings? Seriously, give us some scoop on NCIS! —Alexandra
Ausiello: This may or may not be a first for the show, but this season NCIS will devote special episodes to Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. How much you wanna bet that last one will feature a golden Ziva moment? I’m in for $10.

Question: I am really confused. Did I miss a scoop that Tracie Thoms was leaving Cold Case? I liked her character and enjoyed how Miller was starting to get to know ADA Bell. Is she off the show for good? —Paige
Ausiello: No, not for good. Thoms’ episode order was cut back this season, so Miller will be missing in spots. But a Cold Case insider assures me that she remains a series regular and we’ll see her again “soon enough.”

Question: Rumor has it someone’s dying on Melrose Place. Who is it?! —Shane
Ausiello: It’s not a major character, so relax. If you want to discuss a major upcoming death, ask me who’s going to bite it on Vampire Diaries.

Question: You recently said that Robert Sean Leonard should prepare an Emmy acceptance speech, so that must mean Wilson has some juicy storyline action coming up on House. What can you tell us about our favorite boy wonder oncologist? —Clover
Ausiello: Don’t be surprised if around episode 10 the tables turn and House ends up nursing Wilson back to health.

Question: I am dying to know what’s going to happen before the season ends on Greek? —Paola
Ausiello: The Nov. 2 finale promises to be the show’s most ambitious to date. In a word, musical! “Our girls’ story is centered around a traditional sorority competition called ‘Songfest,’” explains series creator Sean Smith. “[They perform] some big song-and-dance numbers as they go up against Gamma Psi to get the house back on top.” That explains the return of High School Musical’s Olesya Rulin as perky ZBZ pledge Abby, who Smith says sprinkles some “great HSM references” throughout the episode. And then there’s this: “One of our Kappa Taus graduates,” Smith reveals. “That’s right, I used the G-word.”

Question: I am dying to know what happens with Casey and Cappie on Greek! —Bri
Ausiello: Wow, you Greek fans are playing the death card to, um, death this week. Well, it’s working, because I can tell you that this season’s penultimate (and prematurely Thanksgiving-themed) episode on Oct. 26 will reveal which way Casey’s love life is going — towards Evan or Cappie.

Question: Is there any news on that planned Pushing Daisies comic book? —Tommy
Ausiello: Bryan Fuller just turned in the script for the first one and he’s currently working with the show’s writers on the next three. Here’s a spoiler to whet your appetites: The first comic, which I’ve read and is awesome, features the return of ***a* *****iu*!

Question: Two Criminal Minds Qs for you: Is Hotch going back to his ex-wife Haley after he catches Foyet? And will Emily finally have a love life? —Marbs
Ausiello: “Hayley will definitely play an important role in the taking down of The Reaper,” responds exec producer Ed Bernero. “That’s really all I can say about that right now. And as far as Emily, we’ve all been talking a lot about her and her ’status,’ though no final decision has been made. She’s become a very important character for us in a number of ways. I think it’s fair to say that we are as interested in Emily Prentiss finding love and balance in her life as the audience is.”

Question: Is there a chance J.J. and Reid will hook up on Criminal Minds? —Elle
Ausiello: I suppose anything’s possible. Speaking of J.J., her portrayer, A.J. Cook, got to do something in the upcoming Gavin Rossdale episode that she’s been wanting to do since she first joined the show. Here’s a clue: It involves giving someone a good *is*** w*i**i*’.

Question: Where has Mohinder gone from Heroes?! —Rachel
Ausiello: Sendhil Ramamurthy resurfaces in November, so you’ll get your explanation then. Not sure if this is a clue but my Heroes mole tells me that more than 50 percent of Ramamurthy’s scenes since returning have been with Masi Oka.

Question: I heard that Sylar is going to have a love interest this season on Heroes. Could it possibly be Claire? That would make some people happy. —Laurie
Ausiello: The show has 12 episodes in the can and, so far, there’s nothing to suggest that Sylar will take a lover. “We [only] have six more episodes left [to shoot],” reports Zachary Quinto.” I suppose anything’s possible, but I don’t think the seeds for that have been planted in my storyline yet.”

Question: If somebody put a gun to your head and asked for a Fringe spoiler, how would you scoop your way out? —Nihat
Ausiello: I’d give you a Fringe spoiler. Duh. The episode currently in production — this season’s 10th — features the return of Leonard Nimoy’s William Bell.

Question: Is Astrid ever going to get her time to shine on Fringe? I don’t think we’ve ever seen out of the lab. —Oli
Ausiello: Good news, she’s coming out! “Astrid gets out of the lab a lot more this season,” reveals exec producer Jeff Pinkner. “And we just wrote a Astrid/Walter arc.” Adds fellow e.p. J.H. Wyman: “We adore her. She’s a diamond in the rough, and we know that. And we’re looking actively for ways to expand the character.”

Question: Is the actor from your “Fired Leading Man” blind item on Lost? —Jarrod
Ausiello: No.

Question: Any further hints you can give us regarding the significant death on Dexter? —Emily
Ausiello: Look for a major clue at the end of this Sunday’s episode!

Question: Rumor has it (via Twitter) that you’ve seen the season premiere of Friday Night Lights. The first season was the best. Does season 4 have that same feel? —Shannon
Ausiello: It does. As I tweeted earlier today, the premiere (airing Oct. 28 on DIRECTV’S The 101 Network) is an epic triumph. Exec producer Jason Katims promised that the episode — which focuses on Coach Taylor starting over from scratch with the Bad News Bears East Dillon Lions — would feel like a second pilot, and he wasn’t kidding. Katims (who wrote the ep) did a remarkable job balancing the new (six characters!) with the old (Tami, Julie, Saracen, Riggins, Landry, and J.D.) BTW, one of the six returning faves I just mentioned transformed into an unbelievable douchebag over the summer. I totally didn’t see it coming. Equally as shocking: The episode’s gut-wrenching climax.

Question: How much screen time does Riggins get in the FNL premiere? Is his character regressing? Does he get even hotter? —Shannon
Ausiello: He’s rather prominent, his brother certainly thinks he is, and get ready to press the pause button at about the 28-minute mark (excluding commercials). In related news, I’m firing my trainer and hiring Taylor Kitsch. To train me. Anything more than that would be illegal.

Question: If Southland’s sixth episode ends up being its last, will we get any closure (assuming the episode ever airs)? —James
Ausiello: Yes and no. It’s a self-contained ep, so the procedural element will be wrapped up. But there won’t be any big-picture closure — although Michael Cudlitz hints that the final scene contains “a little Easter egg for people who have followed the show and my storyline.”

Question: Do you answer your blind items after a certain time? Or do we have to wait until the story is “officially” broken? I’m particularly interested in finding out the answer to your most recent “Fired Actor” post. —Silmarwen
Ausiello: I take it on a case-by-case basis. Some blind items are so sensitive I can’t even offer any further hints. Others I feel comfortable narrowing down the possibilities to the point where it becomes painfully obvious who (or what) it is I’m talking about. And occasionally I’ll just end everyone’s suffering and solve the damn thing. Regarding the “Fired Actor” item, I’m going to try a new approach. I will relay the name of the fired actor plus two red herrings to the first Aushole that runs into me in Austin over the next three days.* And just to sweeten the deal, said Aushole will also receive a cool and extremely valuable piece of TV swag. Happy hunting! (BTW, I’ll be tweeting and twitpicing up a storm from FNL’s Austin set, so you best start following me.)

Question: USA is calling this week’s episode of Psych the “fall finale.” Is that the same thing as the season finale, or will there be more episodes later on? —Kristin
Ausiello: More episodes later on. This Friday’s episode marks the end of the first part of season 4. The second half will run in early ‘10 and climax with the return of Ally Sheedy as the Ying Yang Killer! The ep, co-written and directed by star James Roday, revolves around the release of Yang’s tell-all book.
