SpoilerTV - Comic-Con Coverage

Hey All.
It is that time of year again!! San Diego Comic Con 09 (SDCC09) is little over a month away!!

If you still do not know what SDCC is, then let me give you a quick update. SDCC is largest comic book convention, but it is more of a TV/Movie/SciFi Fans dream world. Networks and studios have booths and panels to promote their old and new shows and movies.

So of course LOST will be represented and this year is promised to be HUGE. This is the last year for LOST at Comic Con (yes that was hard to type), but Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse promise something "special" for the fans.

In previous years they have provided us with sneak peeks and special Dharma Initiative videos and last year they gave a special prize to each person that asked a question. Matthew Fox was with Darlton last year and there was the Dharma Initiative booth that launched the FAILED ORG ARG, but because of that booth myself and several other Losties were lucky enough to meet and chat with them up close and personal!!

This year my guess is they will be doing something similar with out the Dharma Booth. The panel is indeed scheduled for Saturday, but this year it will be at 11AM and it will be in the huge Hall H again that seats 6,500 (I hear they are expanding it). There will most likely be at least 1 panel at 10AM before LOST, but you will have to sit through that to get a good seat for the LOST Panel.

Last year it was also the second panel and several of you out there braved the early morning hours to hang out and have fun while waiting in line. If you are planning to visit SDCC again this year, I will be there again live blogging and tweeting not only the LOST events but anything and everything else!!

I would love to hang with you all again!! I would say one of the best parts of the weekend is actually getting to meet everyone so I am really looking forward to it all. Tickets are unfortunately sold out, but if you are one of the lucky few that have tickets, then do not forget it is from July 23rd to 26th, with a preview night on Wed the 22nd.

As I mentioned, I will be blogging live for both The ODI and DarkUFO during the LOST events and then for SpoilerTV for other shows and movies. Of course I can not do this all by myself, so if you want to help out with the taking pictures, video tapping, blogging or tweeting or just want to hang out please let us know!!

Site Updates and Changes

Thanks to the hundreds of you that completed the Reader Feedback form that we posted yesterday.

Based on the initial feedback we've made some changes that we could implement fairly quickly. Please feel free to submit your suggestions whenever you like.

1) One of the largest requests was to add more shows directly onto the main menu. We've now added a a 3rd row of shows which cover the next most popular shows on the site. Remember you can still access all the shows from the "Select a Show" dropdown menu in the right hand side.

2)We have added a new SpoilerTV Chat room for those that like to chat realtime with others about their favourite shows etc. This can be found in the menu.

3) The At a Glance section has been improved and should load quicker. We've also added several new shows to this page. New shows will be added to this section when they meet a certain threshold in popularity.

4) We will also do our best to try and cover the shows that you've requested although it's not always possible for us to get information on some of these smaller shows, but we will do our very best.

5) I'm pleased to announce that we've just completed the rollout of the new commenting system throughout the site. The new system allows you to comment using a number of mainstream accounts and ID's, PM other users, improved formatting of comments, links, smilies, and photos. You can now leave a comment using any one of the following.

Ausiello: The noise you're about to hear is the sound of the Whedonverse exploding. Joss confirms to me exclusively that, well, he's one step ahead of you. "If anybody thinks [bringing Summer onto Dollhouse] hasn't occurred to me already then they have not met me," he says. "I mentioned it to her before [SCC] was canceled. I was like, 'You know, we should get you in the 'house.' But first we have to come up with something that works." And casting her as a doll would not work, insists Whedon. "Summer would be perfect to play an active, but she's done that [type of role] a lot," he says. "I'd rather see her play someone who talks too much. The most fun I have is when I get somebody who's good and comfortable at doing something, and then I make them do something else. Question: Since you've seen the first four True Blood episodes of season 2, is there anything you can share? --Sanna
Ausiello: They're bloody fangtastic! (Never. Gets. Old.) Seriously, season 2 -- premiering June 14 -- gets off to a thrilling, gory, scary, sexy, disgusting, funny, suspenseful start. Alan Ball would drive a wooden stake through my heart if I spoiled any of the big twists (i.e. my lips are sealed about the fate of a certain flamboyant vampire blood dealer), but here are a few juicy morsels to whet your appetite:

• There are three orgies, all of them powered by Maryann's (Michelle Forbes) aphrodisiac fairy dust.
• Alexander Skarsgard's Nordic vamp has an extremely homoerotic encounter with a character who shall remain nameless. In related news, there are about two dozen gratuitous shirtless shots in the first four episodes, all of them belonging to either Mechad Brooks (Tara's new BF, Eggs) or Ryan Kwanten (Jason).
• Sookie has a very revealing conversation with a new character in episode 4.
• If you're wondering what secret Merlotte's newest waitress (played by Ashley Jones) is harboring, a clue can be found on her skin.

Ausiello: Big casting scoop: Freddie Prinze Jr. has been tapped to play CTU's head of Field Ops. Thoughts?!

Question: Any scooplets on the end of Nip/Tuck? --Ellen
Ausiello: Patience, Ellen. Patience. Oh, sorry, I meant patients. Among the last clients looking to go under the knife will be an elderly Holocaust survivor keeping a nasty secret from his wife and middle-aged daughter, and a 60-something Asian porn star who wants his open-heart surgery scar removed before trying to, er, score in the American market.

Question: Any chance Bill Lawrence will keep any of Scrubs' new interns around next season? --Joel
Ausiello: I'm willing to bet he'll keep at least one. "I really responded to Eliza Coupe," he tells me. "But there's nothing set in stone."

Question: I just finished watching the pilot episode of Glee and it was amazing! Do you have any info/spoilers about the show that can hold me over until fall? --Heather
Ausiello: The club's token gay (a.k.a. Kurt) gets a love interest in the third episode, but not one he was expecting.

Question: We're so close to the new season of Burn Notice. Can we get some info on our favorite ex-spy? --Brad
Ausiello: Next Thursday's premiere picks up right where season 2 left off: with Michael up to his neck in Atlantic Ocean. By the end of the episode, he's back in hot water. Literally. (I'm talkin' 'bout the water being on fire!)

Question: Any news on the CW drama Body Politic? Will it be picked up for mid-season? –Corinne
Ausiello: It won't. But I keep hearing rumors that one of the show's stars may find work on another high-profile CW drama. If it happens, and all of my sources insist it probably won't, it would create quite the hububaloo.

Question: Why did The CW kill the Gossip Girl spin-off? --Tammy
Ausiello: I'm told the higher-ups never embraced the whole '80s conceit. I'm also told the reason CW boss Dawn Ostroff stopped short of declaring the project dead last week was because there's a chance it could be reconceived down the road.

Question: Any Eureka scoop? --Paige
Ausiello: Three of the show's stars -- Joe Morton, Erica Cerra and Niall Matter -- have signed on to guest star on Sci Fi's new paranormal series, Warehouse 13, which debuts on July 7. Cerra and Matter will play small-town thieves who hit the jackpot thanks to a luck-inducing artifact, while Morton has been cast as a charismatic religious leader doing time in a Florida prison. Eureka, meanwhile, returns with new episodes three days later on July 10.

Question: Do you have any scoops on the new season of The Secret Life of The American Teenager? --Laura
Ausiello: I have a scoop: Brando Eaton (Mental, Bones) has been cast as Ashley's new gay sidekick, Griffin.

Question: Have you seen the Melrose Place pilot? Thoughts? --Doug
Ausiello: I thought I would hate it, but I didn't. It was 10 times better than the 90210 pilot, that's for sure. But I'm a sucker for murder mysteries.

Question: Any more Bones scoop? Pretty please? --Charlee Ann
Ausiello: Since it doesn't look like Brennan and Booth will be having real sex anytime soon, how about Brennan and her bisexual BFF Angela? "We've never discussed that but I wouldn't put it past [producers]," says Emily Deschanel with a chuckle. "I feel like Brennan's the type of character that if she had feelings for a woman she wouldn't question that and she'd go for it. But it would be kind of complicated with her best friend."

Chuck deserves a whole season, not just 13 episodes. Any chance of more? — Darryl
MATT: Actually, yes. NBC entertainment president Ben Silverman says that while the current plan is to deliver 13 midseason episodes, depending on the ratings, "we may extend it out and continue it through the summer," where he thinks it could pair nicely with Friday Night Lights. "We're looking to ... keep [Chuck] incredibly viral and buzz-worthy until it returns, and then hopefully have it on our air for many years to come." That'd be Awesome. And even more so? I chatted up Scott Bakula at TNT's upfronts luncheon, and he's game for more Chuck, if need be.

Any scoop on Gossip Girl's Season 3? — F.R.
MICKEY: Speaking with TVGuide.com at the CW upfronts, Leighton Meester seemed to confirm that Georgina's plan to weasel her way into Blair's life will be successful, as Blair will be living — gasp! — in an NYU dorm, with the little people! Including possibly both G. and V.! (Don't worry, Dorota fans; she'll still be on hand to tend to her "Miss Blair.")

When will we find out who's dead in the car on True Blood? — Neil
MICKEY: Since the season premiere (airing Sunday, June 14, 9 pm/ET) picks up right where we left off, the victim's identity is revealed in short order. As you might have already guessed, Season 2's first casualty is related to Tara, but not in a way that you will guess. At first blush, the significance of said death will not be apparent, but just wait! Also, a minor character's drinking problem will resurface — hilariously.

Any scoop on Leverage's second season? How will things be between Nate and Sophie when the show returns? — Maya
TIM: Timothy Hutton tells us that Nate will go into ultra-revenge mode this season, and against people who very much deserve his wrath: "Sometimes the Leverage team says, 'You know, we don't really need to go that far, Nate. It's OK.' And he says, 'No, we're going to bury this guy,'" Hutton says. Of course, the team isn't even together at the start of the season — until one member lures the others to the same city. Would that be Sophie? Hutton says that's not a bad guess.

As a Ghost Whisperer fan, I want to know: When Melinda looks at Jim, does she sees Jim or Sam? And what about Delia, Ned and Eli, who do they see? — Yasser
MATT: This is a sticky wicket and yet a relevant query in light of the season finale, so I beseeched exec producer P.K. Simonds to explain it all. "The face that everyone sees, including Melinda, when they look at 'Jim' is Sam's," he tells the Buzz. "But over time, people who know that Jim's soul is in Sam's body — including Jim himself — will see him more and more like Jim. Even in mirrors, we'll soon stop seeing Sam's face looking back." And that's bad news for that Jericho chap (Kenneth Mitchell) who was playing ol' Sam.

Could you please let me in on the status of Eureka? Is the show dead ever going to return? — Randy
MATT: Eureka returns Friday, July 10, at 8 pm/ET, for 10 episodes. What's more, Season 3.5's guest stars will include Ever Carradine (returning as Jack's sister, Lexie) and The 4400's own Billy Campbell, playing a specialist brought in to assist on a Global Dynamics project.

What did you think of Eastwick? — Fernando
MICKEY: I'm a huge fan of both John Updike's novel and the film starring Cher, Jack Nicholson, Michelle Pfeiffer and Susan Sarandon, but after seeing a clip of the show (which features Rebecca Romijn) at the Alphabet's upfront, my first thought was: Is this really necessary?

Eureka returns July, 10

SCI FI announced a July 10 premiere date for the second half of Eureka's season three and said the show will move to Fridays at 9 p.m. ET/PT from its previous Tuesday timeslot.

Eureka returns with 10 new episodes, picking up where it left off, with Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson) being removed from his job as Eureka's sheriff and Allison (Salli Richardson-Whitfield) announcing that she is expecting her recently deceased husband's baby.

Sorry, false. Inside sources tell us the CW currently has no plans to rescue Chuck should NBC drop it. But don't forget to vote for Chuck or your other favorites in our Save One Show campaign.

Simon in Agoura Hills, Calif.: Any scoop on Southland?
The subtle reveal that John Cooper (Michael Cudlitz) is gay will be explored further in episode three. And star Shawn Hatosy tells us that Southland bigwigs are doing everything they can to portray the lives of these cops realistically. "We're shooting [with] very small crews, and we're kind of just going into the real area of South Central and using the real areas in trying to get it as authentic as possible as Los Angeles," he says. "It has a feeling of honesty to it." (Southland definitely has more authentic L.A. than 90210, a lack of veracity that the new 90210 boss is now righteously trying to rectify. More on that coming in 90210 vids tomorrow.)

Thora in Baltimore: I love Parks and Recreation! Aziz Ansari is hilarious! Anything about the men of Pawnee?
Well get ready for more Aziz because Rashida Jones tells us exclusively that he isn't going anywhere. "Tom is relentless. We'll definitely find out more about Tom's relationship with his wife and that whole situation down the line. And we find out a lot more about Mark and his personal life, his dating life. I think that hopefully people will feel like they want to see the characters more, and then once they do, we'll give them the pleasure of getting into the little, nasty corners of their lives." As long as Tom keeps hitting on Ann, we're tuning in!

Frannie in Orlando, Fla.: Does Dan ever get another heart on One Tree Hill?
Dan's heart storyline is not resolved by the end of the season, so it looks like the bastard lives to fight another season! Can Dan even really be killed? He seems like one of those supersoldiers you can just shoot holes through and they keep getting up.

Aaron in Miami: Is Alec going to break up Robert and Kitty on Brothers & Sisters?
Alec (Matt Letscher) asks for Kitty's (Calista Flockhart) help while searching for a new home. Unfortunately, the house tour shows Kitty just what she's missing, and when Alec and Kitty get into a freak car accident, Robert discovers her emotional affair.

Kristi in Boise, Idaho: There has been a complete lack of Law & Order: Criminal Intent and In Plain Sight scoop! I will take scoop on either or both. I just want some scoop.
How about a little of both? Over on Law & Order: CI, Jeff Goldblum hits the ground running in the second episode. Det. Zach Nichols and Det. Wheeler (Julianne Nicholson) may be able to finish each other's sentences, but there are some trust issues between them they'll have to work on. Over on In Plain Sight, Kevin Rankin, aka Friday Night Lights' Herc and Lost's Jerry is heading for Albuquerque, N.M. In the second episode he plays a pot-smoking witness to a DEA agent's murder.

Mel in Washington, D.C.: Getting so excited for Caprica! Will there be any BSG crossover stuff?
Not in the pilot (available online and on DVD April 21), but according to SciFi veep Mark Stern, "I'm lobbying for that. There will definitely be references to Battlestar in Caprica at some point."

Andy in Long Beach, Calif.: I actually really like The Unusuals. What's coming up this week?
The Captain continues to put pressure on Casey (Amber Tamblyn) to get information on Walsh (Jeremy Renner), but the real secret you want to know is who he's dating (Hint: It's someone we already know). Also, a friend from Henry's past shows up and we see just how deep in the criminal world he is, not to mention we find out who murdered Kowalski.

April: Love, love, love Harper's Island! Well written, well played. Can't wait to see what happens!
In this week's episode someone dies! Actually, they shake it up and three people die. One is burned alive in a pit, rough break. Abby (Elaine Cassidy) also lets someone get close to her again, too bad they're dead by the end of the episode. By the way, have you checked out Harper's Globe? It's a great interactive way to get to know the victims characters and learn about the island's past murders.

Sally in Buffalo, N.Y.: Any info on The Tudors season three?
God stops by a couple eps down the line to punish Henry for persecuting Catholics so mercilessly. OK, not exactly, but that's the gist we get from the intertwining plotlines of Jane Seymour and Robert Aske. Henry did kind of need a cosmic spanking. (Season four was just picked up, BTW!)

Boyd in Camden, N.J.: Got any scoop on what's going on with Allison's pregnancy on Eureka?
Salli Richardson-Whitfield, who plays Allison on Eureka, filled us in on her storyline: "This year our relationship gets a little weird because we have to deal with the fact that I'm pregnant, and [Sheriff Carter] has a new love interest who is a friend of mine. I have to deal with that. I can't get too mad—I am pregnant with someone else's child—but it bugs me, dammit! I don't care. I don't like it! I don't want to say too much about Joe's character, but he has some interesting things to deal with with his old love Kim."

Wow, great rumor. Unfortunately, we won't be seeing good ol' Luke on 90210. A source close to the show tells us that's a solid "not true."

Lydia in Pennsylvania: Do you know when the season one DVD will be released for True Blood? I'm waiting patiently since my friends are raving about this show and I don't have HBO!
Mark May 19 on your calendar, because that's when True Blood's S1 DVD drops. But here's an early present. The trailer! Check it out here. And we just heard we'll have to wait until August for Sons of Anarchy. (Everyone needs "The Pull" within clicking distance, and it isn't on Hulu anymore. Bah!)

Vicky in Midland, Mich.: Is it true Stephen Fry is returning to Bones?
Yes, there will be a bit of Fry in the April 16 ep, and Bones boss Hart Hanson tells us, "Stephen Fry is wonderful. He has a great chemistry with David Boreanaz, and he has scenes with John Francis Daley, who is ostensibly the guy who replaced him. It was a thrill to have him here." Holler!

Mark in Phoenix: Can we get any info or scoop on the new CBS show Harper's Island? It looks awesome!
The first of Harper's Island's 13 episodes premieres Thursday, April 9, at 10 p.m. on CBS. But don't get too attached to any of the characters: At least two (members of a wedding party) will die before the end of the first ep, and plenty more follow until the killer is revealed in the last ep (July 2). Sadly, it looks like the annoying flower girl, Madison (whom the producers want you to believe is "spooky"), is one of the survivors. Get a sneak peek into the show at its much-creepier companion website, Harper's Globe, which delves into the town's historic mass murders—and why they are (dun, dun, dun!) happening again!

Lauren W.: You mentioned Southland is going to take over ER's old time slot, but I thought Leno was going to be on NBC nightly at 10 p.m.
That Leno sitch starts next fall, so for the duration of this season, Southland is in the old ER slot at 10 p.m. on Thursday. BTW, don't listen to the fancy TV critics who crank about Southland being uninspired. True, it's not rewriting any television paradigms, but it's still an eminently watchable television program made by a bunch of stone-cold professionals. If you like your video iPod and/or any of the flickering pictures that come out of the box in your living room, you will like Southland.

Molly in Los Angeles: I am obsessed with NBC's new show Kings. I'm worried they won't show all the episodes. Can you tell me how it's doing and if it's in danger?
The bad news is that Kings is very definitely in danger. We'll be including it in our Save One Show campaign (due to start any day now), so swing by then to vote and support your show. What's the good news? A source whispers, "At this point, there are no plans to change the Kings airings." Translation: Out of respect for the show (and in particular, creator Michael Green and star Ian McShane), NBC will probably finish out the show's full 13-episode, first-season run, even though the ratings have been—well, let's say, challenging.

Tania in Los Angeles: When will Fringe be back?
Fringe is finally back on Tuesday night, and you will never believe the scoop we have for you: Olivia has a son! OK, not really, but it sure caught your attention. She does, however, develop a bit of a maternal bond with a young boy who's been living underground with no food and no water for years. He's pale white and bald and has got to be a mini-Observer, right? Speaking of Observers, according to Anna Torv, "We're shooting the final episode and we're sort of starting to get more of a glimpse into what their function is." Guesses, besides the obvious?

Celia in Missoula, Mont.: I know you probably can't say if Violet's baby daddy on Private Practice is Pete or Sheldon, but can you tell us when we'll find out? Is it the April 23 or April 30 episode?
All we can say is that the revealing photo on the right is from the April 30 finale ep, and that Violet will "make a choice between Pete and Sheldon" in the Private Practice season finale. (Go team Pete!)

Sam: Did Heather Locklear give Melrose a final "no"?

The Big Bang Theory is back next week with lots of its usual funny! Kevin Sussman drops by as a comic book store employee who goes toe-to-toe with Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and surprisingly hits it off with Penny (Kaley Cuoco). And since this guy is pretty nerdy himself, expect Leonard (Johnny Galecki) to be slightly peeved—and probably a little jealous, too!

On April 23, Jack drags Liz to a jewelry store to shop for engagement rings, and Salma Hayek is back as Elisa. Coincidence? (Nope, not at all.) Seriously though, how can they tease us with "Lemon, I really don't know what I do without you," and then give Elisa an engagement ring!? Arrgh!

Lionel in Perkasie, Penn.: What's coming up on Eureka?
We caught up with Eureka's Colin Ferguson and he told us, "We left with Allison (Salli Richardson-Whitfield) getting pregnant, so we deal with that over the course of the season. Henry's (Joe Morton) long-lost love comes back, and I have a love interest for the season. It's not Allison, so it's got complications. And Zoe (Jordan Hinson) is getting ready to go off to college, or not." Colin also gets to direct an episode this season. "It's probably the best episode anyone's ever directed, for sure!" he jokes.

Mitch in Austin, Texas: What's going on with Stargate Universe?
Lots of dying, that's what! Robert Carlyle gives us the Stargate scoop: "In the first three hours [of the first episode] there are three deaths. By episode six, there is a suicide, so people are really struggling up there. Of the first six episodes, the first three are all in one [story] called "Air." The next one is called 'Fire,' the next one is called 'Earth,' and the next one is called 'Water.' What makes this different from the previous Stargate franchise pieces is that it's a lot darker."

Ron in Brattleboro, Vt.: What's coming up when Sanctuary returns?
"We ended with a bit of a cliffhanger at the end of the first season," Sanctuary's Amanda Tapping tells us, "and this first part of this season is really dark. It's darker and edgier, and we're dealing with a force that could potentially destroy Sanctuary, so there's a huge edge to it. I think we'll see a lot more of the dark, angry side of [my character] Helen Magnus in the first part of the season." Adds Robin Dunne, "There's some heavy stuff in the two-hour opener that I think fans are really going to be blown away by. This adhesive that keeps them all together, this belief, gets rattled a little bit."

Melanie in Reseda, Calif.: Is there any chance we will ever see any Stabler-Benson action on Law & Order: SVU?
Is it just us or does it seem like that sorta-relationship has been teased for the past 10 seasons? Unfortunately for you Stenson fans, there aren't any plans for a future relationship. Show runner Neal Baer tells us that Stabler's rocky marriage is finally on an upswing and that some of the Stabler clan is heading back to SVU. "We might be seeing a family member again before the end of the year." As far as Olivia and Elliott go, Neal is really playing up the success of their partnership. "I don't think any show has gone on as long as SVU with the same partners. Mariska [Hargitay] and Chris [Meloni] have been on the show together for ten years." At least we can look forward to more Stenson goodness in the future, even if it's not some romantic hanky-panky!

Kristi: There has been a complete lack of Law & Order: Criminal Intent info!
The new season of Criminal Intent starts out a little slow (it's like someone slipped a Xanax in D'Onofrio's Odwalla), but Jeff Goldblum brings it when he joins the cast on April 26. His twitchy, musically inclined detective fits perfectly into the cast—nice chemistry with partner Julianne Nicholson and the perfect yin to Goren's yang. Losing Chris Noth was a bummer, but Goldblum more than makes up for the deficit. L&O: CI returns to USA on April 19.

There's a possibility Jo (Nia Vardalos) may be back to cause some trouble for Andy (Jim Gaffigan) this season. Nia tells me, "We left my storyline unresolved just in case." Speaking of stealing husbands, Nia says she'd love to reunite with John Corbett on United States of Tara: "Maybe I should have an affair with [Max]." As if he didn't have enough women to deal with!

Amanda in Boston: Any scoop on Sons of Anarchy? I can't believe we have to wait until fall for more.
First of all, how fantastic was Johnny Lewis (SAMCRO's Half-Sack) on Criminal Minds last week? Definitely one of the show's more notably chilling/charming killers. Second, SOA show runner Kurt Sutter just posted on his blog about season two: "This season is all about alliances. We are going to explore and exploit the bonds we have with our brothers, our family, our country and our god. As I was writing this first script, I smiled when I realized that I get to channel all my twisted Catholic angst into a show about men who play God." Can't wait!

Tyler in Sacramento, Calif.: I noticed you are really good about giving BSG news, but I never hear anything about Eureka. Any news? Like maybe when season three is continuing?
There's no exact date yet, but I'm told that Eureka 3.5 will likely launch in July. Only five short months...

Jesse in San Francisco, Calif.: Will Luke Perry finally show up on 90210?
Highly doubtful, according to Jennie Garth. At the Costume Designer Awards, we asked her when he would be on the show, and Jennie jumped right in, saying, "I don't think he is." Bummer.

Nancy in Cedar Rapids, Iowa: Eric Christian Olsen is so great on Brothers & Sisters. Any chance he'll be staying around?
Eric Christian Olsen has two more episodes left of B&S, but then he'll be starting a new show for ABC called Threesome, written by Ricky Blitt (Family Guy). Olsen says the show is not as dirty as its name makes it sound: "It's a really funny comedy. It's about these two roommates and the girl that I fell in love with." Anything that keeps Eric on ABC is fine by me.

Neil in Charlotte, N.C.: Have you heard anything about Josh Schwartz's new series, Rockville?
I actually just caught up with one of its stars, Andrew West, who is just as good-looking as a Josh Schwartz leading man should be! The new web series premieres on March 17, and Andrew tells me, "It's a comedy about a group of college-age kids hanging out at a rock club in east L.A., and it's fantastic. Lots of great music, lots of great bands and very funny. It's from Josh Schwartz, so it has to be good." As for the Gossip Girl spinoff, Andrew is keeping his fingers crossed he'll join the cast, but he will play Ashley's (Amber Stevens) new boyfriend in the upcoming season of Greek. And BTW, he's also her real-life boyfriend too, lucky gal!

Tim in Riverside, Calif: Are they going to kill of Carter on ER? Please find out!
I can tell you that Carter was definitely hooked up to a dialysis machine—not a chemotherapy machine or some other device, which I would say means his prognosis is better than average, at least.

Laetitia from Paris: Salut, Kristin, I heard that Peyton from One Tree Hill is gonna lose her baby in a car crash? She's my favorite character. Please tell me it's not true.
I love that your favorite character is one you haven't even met yet! I have a soft spot for Peyton and Lucas' spawn, too. (Or wait, did you mean Peyton is your fave?) Anyhoo, regardless, a source tells me this: "There is a car crash, but Peyton will not lose the baby because of that. She will be OK. But so far we don't know if the baby lives or dies yet in the finale." Ugh. Have your family-sized Kleenex box standing by, just in case!

Mike in Aurora, Colo.: I dig Dollhouse! Any chance you can tease what's coming up next week?
Did you know that the Dolls can be remotely deactivated via telephone? Well, it's possible, it happens, and it's bad news for Echo (Eliza Dushku). Who makes the call? Clues point to the mysterious active known only as Alpha. And guess who'll be playing him? Alan Tudyk (aka Wash from Firefly).

Kathryn in Richmond, Va.: It's been so long since Samantha Who? was on the air. Do you have any scoop?
Yes I do! Mr. Billy Zane is about to change everything! Christina Applegate says, "[He] comes and causes a lot of confusion for everybody. That whole arc was five episodes, and it's quite good. Because of him, it changes the course of who she is. As we come into the third season, which we hope we get, everything will be different." If you promise to bring back Billy Zane, I'll promise to drool over him and watch the third season.

Mike in Hollywood, Calif.: Entourage scoop please!
They'll be introducing some new characters on the show this year. Perry Reeves tells me there will be some new, recurring girls this season. No word yet on if anything of them have been cast.

Ricky in Brockway, Pa.: Will Jasika Nicole ever have more screen time on Fringe?
The running joke is how many lines she'll have in an episode, but Jasika says that's about to change. "She's the only person besides Peter who is privy to all this information that's going on. They obviously couldn't just pick any old junior person to do this job because she has access to all this information that's really important. So there's a reason that she's there." Finally! Maybe next time she'll have five lines.

Anna in Dallas: I know Kath & Kim isn't doing so well in the ratings, but will you still tell me what's coming up?
How about I let John Michael Higgins tell you? "My character is having a bachelor party, which is interesting to watch." Watch out Ms. Day—Mr. Knight is out to party!

Things are really going to start heating up between Liam (Matt Lanter) and Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord). Says McCord, "Things are getting a little hot and steamy. Then, as if what we're doing is not enough, Naomi starts having wet dreams. It's hilarious. All I'm going to say is 'banana in a pocket.' " By the way, AnnaLynne also tells me Eden will be back on Nip/Tuck: "I have one more episode airing that I've shot so far, and then I don't know what's next for it, but I don't fall off, so you never know, I could come back...The last episode I'm with Kimber and Ram. I'm pretty mean. That's all I'm going to say." In other news, we'll be meeting Adrianna's Aunt Nancy in the finale. She's described a good egg, which makes me worry that she'll be taking off with either Adrianna or her baby...

At long last we're going to get a look at Christian and Sean when they were young. The show is casting now for twentysomething hotties who look like Julian McMahon and Dylan Walsh to appear in flashbacks to the boys' college days.

Sarah in Addison, Texas: You have to know who killed Jenny on the L Word by now!
You want to know who really shot Jenny? Everyone just assumes that it's Alice (Leisha Hailey) because the spinoff in prison is centered on her, but as she told me at TCA, she could be wrongfully accused. Truth be told, even the cast doesn't know. Kate French tells me most of the series finale was shot against a green screen, saying, "I think they did that to throw us all off. Maybe it'll just be my mug shot. Maybe I [killed Jenny]." Hmmm. I'll be hitting the series farewell party next week, so send your Q's for the actresses to tvdiva@eonline.com.

Dalia in Riverside, Calif.: Anything coming up on United States of Tara?
After last week's appearance of the urinating fourth alter, Max (John Corbett) turns to Tara's therapist for advice. According to her, this new alter, or "poncho goblin" as Max calls it, may be a huge step in helping Tara discover why she developed disassociative identity disorder in the first place. Hmmm, anyone else thinking back to the premiere when Tara was overly concerned about Marshall wetting the bed? Also, Marshall will turn to Kate for some sisterly advice when he still can't figure out if his crush Jason is gay or not.

Matt: Ryan? Not so much, as he won't even surface until midseason at soonest. As for Holly, ask yourself: Typically, how smooth is the sailing for a couple when their moms hate each other? Now if I may offer you a longer-term scoop: Neither Holly nor Nora is the woman you should worry about busting up JuBecca.

How are Friday Night Lights' ratings on DirecTV? I'm concerned that if they aren't high enough, NBC won't air the show this winter as promised. — Christine
Mickey: Fret not, Christine. First of all, I can't imagine NBC not airing Friday Night Lights at this point. They still have to figure out if this DirecTV experiment worked, and they can't do that without correlative network ratings. As for its DirecTV run, the season premiere ranked No. 7 in its timeslot among all basic cable channels, but an impressive second among women 18-to-49, which means… what, exactly? Not sure, but DirectTV tells us they are "very pleased" with those results.

I have been reading teasers about Prentiss' back story. I've heard everything from she was in the CIA to she was in an abusive relationship. Do you have any inside Criminal Minds scoop on her secrets? — Elizabeth
Matt: I took your teasers to exec producer Ed Bernero, who wrote back, "Patience, Elizabeth. Patience. All in due time (smiles devilishly)." Bernero went on to say, "I couldn't agree more that Emily Prentiss is a strong and amazing woman. And her deepening story will only make her more so." That's what we call a Criminally good tease.

I enjoyed seeing "Jimmy Berluti" on Bones a few weeks back. Will there be any other new grad students pitching in at the Jeffersonian? — Gayle
Mickey: No new ones, but future episodes will see the return of some of your old favorites, including Wendell Bray, Daisy Wick (the girl who sucked up to Brennan), Clark Edison (the guy who didn't like sharing personal information) and Vincent Nigel-Murry.

Any scoop on whether there will be a Season 4 for Eureka? — Ros
Matt: If by "Season 4," you mean the back end of Season 3 (or "Season 3.5"), it has yet to be scheduled. But this much I do know: Jack Carter is getting a new plucky female sidekick.

I know some Greek fans think Casey's new guy is Mr. Perfect, but I think he's so stiff and robotic. It's like watching paint dry. I'm surprised to say it, but I miss the Cappie-Casey dynamic. Is there anything coming up with those two? – Colleen
Matt: In two words: Um, yeah! In the season finale (airing Oct. 28), Casey will turn to two unlikely people for advice on her love life: Lauren Conrad... and Cappie. At the end of the soul-searching, I am told, Case might find herself and Cap in a very familiar place.

I've not heard anything on Kyle XY in some time. Any word on Season 3, what to expect this year, and/or DVDs for Season 2? – Daniel
Matt: Kyle will return to your TV on Jan. 12, 2009, and to your DVD player late this December. As for scoopitude, Season 3's Kyle is going to have to nut up when Latnok decides to finally introduce themselves. (I'm guessing their look isn't "happy to see me.")
