Here’s a cool idea – if you’ve got users sharing their praises to others on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube this is valuable stuff that other potential users might be interested in, right? Absolutely!

TrapCall, SpoofCard’s sister site, has a new minisite called TrapCall Really Works that does what we just mentioned – shows what actual users are saying about TrapCall! This stuff is straight from their Facebook, Twitter and YouTube users and links back to most of the sources (except where it appears they couldn’t like on Facebook, so it just links to the main page where you can see it for yourself).

A very cool idea! So cool that we even had to blog about it. Some of the things users say about TrapCall, and how they use it, are absolutely hilarious.

Caller ID Spoofing Is NOT Illegal

Today SpoofCard finally issued a formal response to all the talk and confusion over the Caller ID spoofing bill that recently passed in the House. The jist of the post is that Caller ID spoofing is NOT illegal, not going to be completely outlawed, existing customers who are currently using the service within the law are not going to be affected, and that SpoofCard actually supports spoofing legislation. However, it appears that SpoofCard does not 100% support this legislation in its current wording which some have suggested is vague.

The bill will effect users who already commit crimes while using SpoofCard to be deceptive, such as posing as a police officer or bank employee.

For those living under a rock, the bill that passes the House of Representatives is HR 1258. Because this bill has passed in the House does not mean it is yet a law! We’ve had a few people suggest this to us and this is just not correct. The bill must be reconciled in the Senate and then sent to President Obama to be signed in to law. The bill could fail to be passed at any of these stages now.

SpoofCard is asking for your support in reaching out to your senators to ensure that the bill is given the correct wording to prevent it from being too vague.

iSpoofCard App = PhoneGangster App

Great news for iPhone users! SpoofCard’s iPhone App ‘iSpoofCard” is now available in the iTunes App Store again under the name of ‘Phone Gangster”. The only catch — no spoofing. Voice changing, call recording and more are still available but SpoofCard had to remove the Caller ID spoofing function to get the app approved and back into the App Store!

But don’t fear! If you still want spoofing on your iPhone you can always head to iSpoofCard.com from your iPhone and install the spoofing app without even needing to jailbreak or use the App Store!

iSpoofCard Hits The Palm Pre

SpoofApp’s popular SpoofCard iPhone app is now available on the Palm Pre and Palm Pixi devices! We have a Palm Pre so we’re extremely excited about this app, even though we’ve been using the iTouch version for some time now.

SpoofCard App For Facebook

We didn’t see this one coming! SpoofCard now has the very first Caller ID spoofing Facebook application! That’s right, you can now prank and spoof your friends right from within Facebook! We know you’re probably sitting on Facebook all day at work anyways

Not only does SpoofCard’s app let you prank your friends it also gives you a free SpoofCard PIN and lets you earn free minutes by spreading the word about the app to other friends. You can even share your recordings with your friends, comment on others recording and more. The recordings page is reallllly fun to play around with. We heard some pretty funny shared recordings after listening to a few public recordings! These are all recordings done by real SpoofCard users!

123Spoof Becomes SpoofCard

123Spoof.com now redirects to SpoofCard.com. It looks as if SpoofCard entered into a lawsuit with its competitor, 123Spoof, and won. According to our sources 123Spoof was found to be violating SpoofCard’s trademarks by using the term “spoof” in its name which was found to be very misleading to a lot of customers who thought they were purchasing Spoof Card’s.

Now that 123Spoof.com is effectively shut down SpoofCard is offering a replacement account to any 123Spoof customer who decides to email them. Very nice, guys.

SpoofCard Wins In Florida Anti-Caller ID Spoofing Case

Today TelTech Systems, SpoofCard’s parent company, announced it has won a lawsuit in Florida effectively reversing the Florida lawmakers decision to attempt to ban Caller ID spoofing services from being able to operate in Florida. This means SpoofCard can now legally offer its service in Florida again and this also sets a very important precedent for other states who may try to ban SpoofCard’s Caller ID spoofing and fake Caller ID service in the future.

This is HUGE news for SpoofCard and VERY good news at that! Congrats!

Share Your SpoofCard Recordings Across The Web

Today SpoofCard enabled call recording sharing. For the first time you’re able to share all the calls you’ve recorded with SpoofCard, anywhere on the web. You can send your recordings to popular services like Twitter or Facebook with just a few clicks.

This is something we talked to SpoofCard about a few times in the past. Same for TrapCall. We really love being able to share our recordings with our friends on Facebook and we think you’re going to love it too.

We recently saw a company embracing the same model in exchange for a free mixtape, but this is even cooler!
