St Paul’s Theological Centre and RZIM Zacharias Trust Apologetics
Training Day will be held at St Paul’s Hammersmith on the 9th May from

Graham Tomlin speaks at the consecration of the new Bishop of Kensington

The new Bishop of Kensington, Paul Williams, was consecrated at St Paul’s Cathedral on the 25th March 2009. The service was led by the Archbishop of Canterbury, assisted by the Bishop of London, the Bishop of Winchester and the Bishop of Oxford.

Graham Tomlin spoke at the service and attached is a copy of his sermon.

Bishop Graham Cray recommends SPTC training model

Bishop Graham Cray, who becomes Archbishops’ Missioner and leader of Fresh Expressions on the 1st May, recommended the St Paul’s Theological College ordination training model recently an article in the Church Times.

New Associate Lecturer

We are thrilled to announce that Paula Gooder has become an Associate Lecturer at St Paul's Theological Centre. Paula is a freelance writer and lecturer in Biblical Studies. Her research areas include the writings of Paul, with a particular emphasis on 2 Corinthians and Mysticism, Biblical Interpretation and the Development of Ministry in the Early Church. Bishop of London speaking at Monday Theology

The Bishop of London, the Rt Revd Richard Chartres comes to join us this Monday at St Paul’s Theological Centre. He will be teaching on the first year course, on the theology of the Orthodox Theologian, Alexander Schemann.

New Visiting Lecturers at SPTC

We are thrilled to announce that Amy Orr-Ewing and Pete Greig (pictured) have agreed to become Associate Lecturers at St Paul’s Theological Centre!

Amy Orr-Ewing is Training Director of RZIM Zacharias Trust and Director of Programmes for the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics (OCCA). Pete Greig is Director of Prayer at Holy Trinity Brompton and International Director of 24-7 Prayer.

Archbishop of Canterbury at the School of Theology

Dr Rowan Williams came to speak at the School of Theology on Saturday 17th January 2009. He gave an insightful and spiritually invigorating talk on the book of John. He spoke about John in terms of our relationship with God and, rather impressively, read and interpreted directly from the Greek.
