Anyway enough blurb, I have a few new designs to show you, we are working on a vintage theme again. Our original design which has been our most popular this year is ‘Splendour’

A twist on the usual side opening wedding invitation, this is a three fold card, beautifully overlayed with a silk paper hand embossed with a pattern in champagne and ivory with a glitter encrusting. Inside holds your wedding details backed with the same silkpaper and to the right a pocket which holds an information card for you to tell your guests whats important and also an rsvp and envelope.It still seems hugely popular and I get asked for it more than ever at the moment, however it often comes with a twist of a very modern colour.

The new vintage theme is still as beautiful as ever but has a modern twist, the colour. I have been asked to mix these lovely papers and cards with bright acidic colours or deep dark ones. Complete opposites but saying that they are working well and couples are loving them.

Firstly we have ‘Antique’

This wedding invitation is made from a vellum wallet which is embossed with a lovely antique floral design. It is then embellished with ribbon to add colour and crystals to add a little sparkle. Inside is a side opening invitation with your names and date on the front and inside are your wedding details. The colour is added with the ribbon on the front but with the way this vellum pocket works you can see the bright colour of the card through the floral design giving it a super 3d effect. Of course this can be made in any colour to suit your day this is just an example of the bright colour twists.

Then we have ‘Grace’

This wedding invitation is made from tri fold opening card held closed by a lovely satin rosette style embellishment and the card is covered in a shimmer designed floral vintage paper. Inside to the right in the pocket are two information cards and an rsvp. The wedding details are centrally placed and raised and adorned with little pearls in the corners. This wedding invitation is boxed. This time the colour is a deep dark plum but shows off the paper perfectly and gives it a truly rich feel.

Its a shame that photos aren’t more realistic as the papers on all of these designs are beautiful and really cannot be seen well from photographic representation, however it does give you an idea of the themes and invitations we are producing. Trying to keep up with you all and write the blog has proven a little bit of a struggle, as you will know nothing since October, but I promise there will be more to come and I hope, plenty to interest you all.

Thank you to all the customers out there that have bought and appreciated my samples as we are unindated with orders and we have some super colour combinations coming in this year.

Definately not just one colour couples out there but  beautiful flowing colour schemes throughout the stationery. Orange and blue, strange but true and worked beautifully in the final product. Lime green and cerise, another very stunning colour combination, with everything else at the wedding in white this was a eye catcher and once I get some pictures from the couple I will show you all how lovely it really was.

We have many plans for new designs and we will most definately be extendingour silk box designs range as these have proven very popular over the last year. We will be updating the blog with designs as and when they are completed.

Our wedding bridal boxes are a real success, they are very beautiful and have been appreciated by many of our couples, its easy as they can be in any colours you like as they are made to order, makes things a little special.

We have used stunning shimmer card boxes to hold shiny satin cushions and then nestled amongst this is your invitation. We have mini photo albums, with a picture of your choosing on the front and your invite wording spread throughout the inside. A great gift as your guest can use this for some mini memories after the event also.

A gorgeous little silver ‘Love’ stand holds your wedding invite in the above design. This can stand on its own and look ‘glam’ on any shelf for your guests to admire. The stand holds the invite perfectly up for viewing.

It is becoming more and more popular for couples to ask for monetary gifts, to help save for new home, or honeymoon, or gift vouchers.
