When he got to heaven,
God was showing him around. They came to a modest little house with a
faded Los Angeles Laker's flag in the window. "This house is yours for
eternity, Kobe," said God. "This is very special; not everyone gets a
house up here."

Kobe felt special, indeed, and walked up to his house. On his way up
the porch, he noticed another house just around the corner. It was a
3-story mansion with a brilliant Black, Silver & White, sidewalk, a
50 ft. tall flagpole flying an enormous San Antonio Spurs flag, and in
every window a Spurs logo.

Kobe looked at God and said "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful,
but I have a question: I won 3 NBA Championships, more awards than I can
remember and am one of the greatest players of all time."

God said "So what do you want to know, Kobe?"

"Well, why does Tim Duncan get a better house than me?"

God chuckled and said "Kobe, that's not Tim's house, ..it's MINE."

<ballhype>
</ballhype>
advertising
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4752639341055971221.post-24954925558225282152008-05-28T01:38:00.001-07:002008-05-28T01:38:57.872-07:00

<ballhype>
</ballhype>
advertising
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4752639341055971221.post-19161019670027939782008-05-28T00:50:00.000-07:002008-05-28T00:54:44.300-07:00
I dont care what happened before or what calls were made or not made or missed or whatever

THAT LAST PLAY WAS A FOUL

A FOUL. PERIOD

you call that 1 minute into the game or 47 minutes into the game. It should not matter.

YOU ARE A REF with NO AGENDA or BECAUSE you DONT want to bail out someone

IT DOESNT MATTER, should not matter.

You are there to call a match neutral with no stake in the outcome.

TNT says, "the shooter didnt sell it" and "they dont call those at the end of the game"

A shooter needs to act now in order to get an obvious foul called? Then they hamper and penalize you for flopping, then they call plays in order to mess with certain flow of the game.

Its insane, why not just whisper into the players ear like the WWE refs do when they need to pass instructions?

This is utter BULLSHIT that all this year's playoff games have some sort of REF drama.

This is about the game and about the players, not about the Refs.

A FOUL IS A FOUL and that was corrupt and that was personal by Crawford.

Sasha got a touch foul 3 PT and 1, while this end play was not a foul?

Gimmie a Break.

Kobe would of gotten that call, I BET ANYTHING HE WOULD been given that foul.

Combine all this with the other game where the Celtics got close to 40 FT and still lost to Detroit.

The fix is in this year more than ever.

A year with dropped ad revenue, attendance and ratings.

BOSTON vs. LAKERS = huge interest from all markets.

Oh how I wish these were MLB umpires instead of NBA refs.

In baseball, betting on the game or throwing a game is serious and lifetime ban, no bullshit or playing around.

In the NBA, its business as usual.

The NBA needs international refs , something to clean the game from these biased and agenda driven marketing arms of David Stern.

The NBA needs a committee that is set up independently from the league to monitor questionable games, where there is no fear of retaliation from Stern.

When boxing was being accused of throwing fights, the government steps in, when Horse Racing was being questioned, an independent panel was brought in, when MLB was questioned back in the day, harsh punishment came down from the commissioner in order to protect the intregity of the game.

The NBA thought it cleaned up its allegations with an open and close investigation of the Tim Donahue scandal but the bad apples are still lingering from the tree while Stern continues to water it.

<span style="font-weight: bold;font-family:courier new;font-size:180%;" needs to learn the G. Karl graceful style of the Ole.

This man is a joke of a coach. From the Sonics Org, Bucks to the Nuggets Org, do GM's not realize how horrible this guy is? Oh I forgot, he is also the GM most of the time.

This sucks to say, but if George Karl was a black coach, he would never get these many chances to fail. Never!

Iverson, Carmelo, Camby and you can't win 1 game? 1 game? Gimmie a break.

Shoot, Sam Vincent if in Denver would have this team at 2-2 right now with all that talent and no injuries. Where is Sam now? Oh Yea, Fired.

Look at Mike Woodson (ATL) has his #8 seed 2 games on the mighty Celts and George Karl can't win one game with his All Star team he has?

George Karl gets TOO MANY passes for no reason when he continues to show nothing every season except first round exits or teams that don't make the playoffs.

The sole exception to his illustrious career was his finals appearance with Seattle back in what seems to be the 1940's now.

Just how we always say players are overrated, etc. If there were talk on overrated coaches, he takes the cake and probably eats it too.

Sucks for Denver fans to know this guy runs your team, they deserve better, just ask the good people of Milwaukee.

<img
