Tata Motors offers its consumers with cars which are not only durable but also easy to maintain. They are stylish and easy on pocket as well. Tata Motors launched Tata Nano in March 2009. It is known as the World’s cheapest car.

The exterior of Nano:

Tata Motors have done a great job at exteriors of Tata Nano. It is a stylish car like the other premium small cars. The front of Tata Nano is marked by small and sweeping down bonnet. Though the bonnet is small in size, but it renders petite appearance to the Nano. The bonnet incorporates a diamond shaped clear lens headlights and a reliable Tata logo in centre. The high-end of Tata Nano LX is equipped with the front fog lamps. The roof beading and the roof spoiler in the LX variant makes Tata NANO 2012 look very elegant and posh.

The intrusion beam is integrated through the innovative door system design. The wheel covers of Tata Nano have been upgraded. There is six petal shaped spokes on the wheel cover which covers the radial tubeless tyres. This gives a stylish look to the new automobile. This will obviously save the passengers from the jerks gifted by the over-heighted speed breakers on the roads.

The clear lens tail lamps of Nano are elongated and these run in the length with the boot lid. There is a high stop lamp which is mounted high at the centre. The body colour bumpers and the fog lamps continue at the rear.

Interior of Nano:

The interiors of the Nano have an expert touch. In order to generate a contrast colour effect, the dashboard of Nano is done in medium graphite,Barley beige and Ebony Black. The roof lining Nano is jute based in the standard model. The A and B pillar on the doors are lined with beautiful trims.

The steering wheel is 2 spoke in the base and mid variant; 3 spoke in the top variant. It is also assisted with easy steer mechanism. The instrument clusters also have bright illumination for better view during. An electronic trip meter, low fuel warning lamp, and a digital fuel gauge, is present along with the speedometer. Just below it, we find the AC and the heater. The seats are quite comfortable and it can accommodate 4 people easily.

Engine of Nano:

In spite of the small size of the engine, the performance of the Nano is better. It doesn’t feel out of our breath. It can easily do 100km/hr.

The 624 cc MPFI (Multi Point Fuel Injection)petrol engine of Tata Nano has seen a significant development with the peak power mounting to 38 Ps from 35 PS. A remarkable of 10% increase in the power output. Now the maximum torque produced is 51 Nm from 48 Nm. The fuel efficiency is another key point particularly when the petrol engine is under a question with the heaping petrol price in the background. The fuel efficiency of this car is now class-leading among the petrol cars with an improvement from the 23.6 kmpl to 25.4 kmpl.

Whenever you visit a new place, you want to explore it thoroughly, so that you can have a pleasant and memorable holiday experience. However, often people complain that their entire holiday was spoilt just because they did not have the right conveyance to explore the place. If you do not want this to happen with you and want to have a stress free holiday experience, then make sure you find and book car rental services for yourself well in advance, to avoid last minute hassles and visit all the places and attractions that you want to, conveniently and easily.
Often people plan to book a car for their city tour after reaching their destination. But this turns out to be a big mistake when they come across the local car rental services, which not only have very high rates, but also have very bizarre terms and conditions and incompetent services. As a result, a lot of their time and energy is wasted in looking for the perfect car hire services and by the time they find a suitable car hire, their holiday mood is already spoilt and half of the days are already wasted.
If you are planning to go on a dream vacation with your loved ones, then make sure you dedicate enough time for the preparations, so that you can enjoy your vacation thoroughly. Along with the other preparations, consider checking out classified on car rental services available in the place that you are planning to visit and find and book a suitable car hire in advance.
In fact, the leading online classifieds are one of the best places to find suitable car rental services for your holiday. You can narrow your search according to your preference, budget and destination. Once you have the list of choices in front of you, you can shortlist the ones which you think best meets your criteria, compare them with one another and then finally pick up the most suitable one for your holidays. It will also be a good idea to read the reviews of customers about the quality of services offered, so that you can be sure that you are making no mistake.
Once you select a car rental company, you can contact them directly to confirm the rates and the availability of the type of vehicle you require and on the particular dates of your travel. You can also provide them with the list of attractions that you want to visit, so that they can plan an itinerary for you so that you can visit all these places within the limited time, but without any hurry. If everything goes well, make sure you make the booking in advance. This is particularly essential if you are planning to travel during the peak tourist season.
There are people who think that it is better to use public conveyance and the tourist vehicles to explore the city. However, in such a case you won’t have the freedom to explore the attractions at your pace. Also, you might have to visit places which you are not much interested to explore. Therefore, for the best experience, hire a car from a reputed company and enjoy your holiday to the fullest.

Two years ago, when Rajneesh Ramanujan (name changed) took a home loan to buy a two bedroom flat in Malad, he was in perfect health and spirit. Things were going well until he started experiencing a recurrent chest pain. One day, he came home early from work as he was feeling uneasy. That very night, he died of a cardiac arrest. Rajneesh was the sole bread-winner and his family was financially dependent on him. After his sudden demise, the hapless Ramanujan family couldn’t afford to pay the pending home loan EMIs. Thus they were evicted from the house. During his lifetime, like many others, Rajneesh made a mistake. He didn’t purchase home loan insurance, which could have safeguarded his family from loan liabilities in case of his unfortunate demise.

What is home loan insurance?

Home loan insurance, synonymously known as home loan protection insurance is a tool to safeguard your (borrower) family from losing their dream house, in case you fail to repay the outstanding monthly installments on the availed housing loan, under circumstances mentioned in the policy.

Key benefits of home loan insurance:

When any unforeseen event happen in your life, for example prolonged sickness, permanent disability due to accident, unemployment or sudden demise, home loan insurance supports your family, helping them to meet the outstanding home loan. They can enjoy a peaceful stay in their home without being burdened by the loan EMIs.
You can claim a tax rebate u/s 80C for the premium paid towards home loan insurance. However, if the premium is clubbed together with your loan EMI payments, you won’t get any rebate for the insurance.

A joint loan insurance plan can be taken for a joint loan application. This plan will cover you as well as your co-borrower. In case any untoward incident happens to you or your co-borrower, the other person will be safeguarded with insurance cover intended to aid pay-off the outstanding home loan.

Loan insurance premium depends on the following factors:

• The age of the insured/borrower – The premium amount payable is directly proportional to the age of the borrower. The older you are, the greater home loan premium would be.
• The amount of the loan – A higher loan amount attracts higher insurance cover i.e. a larger premium amount.
• The loan tenure – The longer the loan repayment period is, the greater the premium will be.
• The borrower’s medical history – If you have a sound medical record, the premium amount becomes lower. On the contrary, if you are suffering from any chronic or risky health issues, the premium amount will definitely go up.

Important factors to investigate while selecting loan insurance:

• Loan insurance coverage – You should check if the home loan insurance covers only death due to accidents or any other causes as well. Similarly, ensure that the insurance cover is available for both short-term and permanent disabilities.
• Premium payment – Check if the premium amount due is payable monthly, yearly or as a lump sum.
• Necessity of a medical check-up – Enquire if the insurance plan requires you to undergo a medical check-up as a necessity or not.

So don’t look at home loan insurance as a liability instead think of it as a virtual entity that provides you with the comfort of knowing that in your absence, a lump sum amount will be made available towards repaying your home loan, making sure your loved ones will be secured.

Knowing how to do things “the old school” way (aka the longer and often harder way) is good. It means that if you will have the skills to get things done even if your computer network goes down…which, let’s face it, tends to happen at the worst possible moment. At the same time, knowing your way around the latest software is also important. Knowing how to operate these tools makes your own life easier. It also makes you more marketable to future employers and more valuable to your current employer.

Here are the three most beneficial software tools a business can have in place and why you need to know how to use them:

Contract Management

A filing cabinet is nice, but buying and using contract management software is better. This is software that will help you manage your (or your employer’s) contracts. This is software that keeps track of details for you both while the contract is still valid and binding and long after its terms have passed. That’s nice and all, but what makes a solution like, say, http://www.contractlogix.com/ better than doing everything longhand? A multitude of factors, but most of them fall under the following three categories:

Speed: Instead of having to pull files to figure out, say, how many clients are being billed at rate A instead of rate B, you simply type the search into your software and get the information within a minute or so.

Space: When you scan in and enter your contract data into software, you can store the hard copies off site (or in another part of your offices). This frees up much needed space within your office.

Data Management: The great thing about contract management software is that it also helps you manage your contact information. You can type in a person’s name and find out how many different contracts you have (or have had) with them, their contact info, etc.

Accounting Software

You can find lots of great accounting options online but most professionals use is QuickBooks. This is because it’s easy enough to learn and is easy to integrate for every type of business. It also offers you solutions if you want to manage your personal finances as well as your professional finances.

The benefits of this should be pretty self explanatory, don’t you think? Particularly if you’re bad at math!

If not, consider this: accounting software will help you track what comes in, what goes out and reminds you to pay your bills on time. If you hook it up to your bank (some banks will allow this), it can even send bill payments for you. This way you don’t have to worry about underpaying or missing a payment ever again…though you do have to be pretty diligent about entering your receipts into the system in a timely manner.

And being able to tell a potential boss “I’m really good with Quickbooks” makes you look even more impressive.

Tax Software

Most tax software, like Turbo Tax, is easily integrated into your accounting software and vice versa. One of the primary benefits about using tax prep software is the audit protection it offers. When you use a company like HR Block or Turbo Tax software and a mistake is made, you can send the audit notice to the company that did your taxes (or that made the software) and they’ll handle it on their end. You can go about your business as usual.

Did you know that tax preparation is an incredibly lucrative career? More importantly, it’s easy to fit in around other jobs because your busy season will only last for a couple of months out of the year.

These are just some of the most basic types of software and systems that will help you streamline processes in your office. Scheduling software (yes Google Calendar works, but there are other options out there), task management software, etc all fall under this category too.

So, Type A’s: what methods for streamlining have you tried and liked the best?

Leasing or renting of office equipments is one of the thriving businesses for the past several decades. It comes quite handy for small business owners whereby they can reduce their investment in creating the office infrastructure. Leasing or renting is a sure saver for them in terms of their operating budget. Hence many businesses are leaning towards hiring the equipment like furniture, business phone line rental, copiers etc.

As every coin has got two sides, every business will have pros and cons. It is wiser to chose the pros over cons if the pros can offer strong support and add flexibility for the steady progress of any given business endeavor. This applies to the leasing or renting the office equipments, tools, tackles and utilities.

If we look at rental equipments for offices from this perspective there are more advantages than disadvantages. As we discussed at the beginning of the article that rental equipments can offer financial cushion and operational suppleness to the owners by reducing the direct investment on office infrastructure. Renting helps the small and start-up businesses to manage their cash flows efficiently and effectively.

Advantages Of Rental Equipments

Firstly, rental equipments are easy to procure and also to dispose. Whenever the owner wants to move his/her office to a new premises or a new location, it all needs a phone call to the supplier to take back the rental equipment. Thus they save dismantling and transportation costs which have direct impact on the balance sheet.

Another great advantage that is worthwhile to note here is that the rental equipments do come with instant and free replacement choices. If any equipment fails to function due to a technical snag, the rental equipment supplier should ensure that the faulty machine or item is replaced with good ones within a stipulated timeline. Thus the business owners can reduce their money and efforts put on the maintenance of equipments. This is another cushion that eases the budget allocations.

Technologies keep changing from time to time. So, if any business firm has bought out the equipments, they have to either upgrade or purchase the latest products to keep pace with the rest of the competitors. Whereas, in hiring the equipments owners can get the latest brands. By this, the small business owners can facilitate themselves with latest technology but without heavy investments.

Now a day, employees are highly sensitized about the workplace safety and ergonomics of office furniture. This awareness is good for the business owners as well. When employees are satisfied that their workplace is safe and does not harm their physical composure, the productivity increases considerably. By hiring ergonomically made furniture, small companies can achieve higher productivity from their satisfied employees. Higher productivity with minimal investment can assure a bright future for the small or start-up companies. And if you want to get the best in class office equipment with minimal investment, just get a quote from Microcare Systems or any other such company and give your office setup a head start.

Disadvantages Of Rental Equipments

Though there are not many to worry about, it is better to have some idea about the disadvantages of renting office equipment. Business owners must ensure that the hired equipments are handled with care at all times. Negligence and improper handling of the same can result into reimbursing the supplier which can be more than the actual purchase cost of that equipment. Hence the managements should sensitize their employees, associates and others to exercise caution while using rented equipments.

I came across an amazing post on Quora and embedding it here as I feel it’s an awesome read.

Original post can be found here – URL

When I built my first company in the 90s I did everything smart until I did everything stupid.

We built websites for entertainment companies. Bad Boy Records, Miramax, Time Warner, HBO, Sony, Disney, Loud Records, Interscope, on and on. Oh, and Con Edison.

Then I saw that kids in junior high school were learning HTML. So I sold the business. $15mm. About a year later. I hedged and cashed out. Sold all my shares. The $15 million was now cash.

I bought an apartment for millions. I rebuilt it. Feng Shui! I bought art. I played a lot of poker. I began investing in companies. A million here. A few hundred thousand there. One IPO I put $2 million in at $20 and watched it go to $0. They made wireless devices for deaf people. Huge market.

I started another company. CMGI, Allen & Co, Investcorp, Henry Kravis, and a billion others invested. I started a VC fund. I invested in more companies.

Then Internet stocks started to go down. This is ridiculous, I thought. The Internet is here to stay. I knew nothing about stocks or valuations or anything resembling rational thought. I doubled down. Then quadrupled down. Then 8-upled down.

From June 2000 until September, 2001 I probably lost $1 million a month. When anyone says, “this is ridiculous”, that’s code for, “I’m about to lose a lot of money”.

I couldn’t stop. I was an addict. I wanted to get back up to the peak.

I wanted to be loved. I wanted to have $100 million so people would love me.

I was the worst idiot. Writing this now I feel like slitting my wrists and stomach. I had 2 kids.

I felt like I was going to die. That zero equals death. I couldn’t believe how stupid I had been. I had lost all my friends. Nobody returned calls. I would go to the ATM machine and feel my blood going through my whole body when I saw how much was left. I was going to zero and nothing could stop it. There were no jobs, there was nothing.

I lost my house. One weekend when I had $0 left in my bank account I called my parents to borrow money but they said “no”. “College was enough” they told me.

I tried meditation to calm down but it didn’t work. I never slept. I lost 30 lbs. I’m 5’9″. I went from 160 to 130. I couldn’t talk to anyone. I couldn’t move. I stopped having ideas. I cried every day. I felt like I had won the lottery (I did) and now there would be no chance for me. I would look at my daughters and think I had ruined their lives. I went from feeling immortal to feeling dead all over, every day. There was never a moment when I didn’t feel sick. I had let everyone down forever.

We moved 80 miles north of NYC with the tiny bit of money we took out of our apartment after selling at a million dollar loss. I didn’t leave the house for three months. I gained back all my weight and then another 30 lbs.

Finally I had to either die or feed my family.

- I started to exercise every day. I started to eat better. One item for breakfast. A healthy lunch. Tiny dinner. No snacks.
- I started to only be around people who loved and supported me. I broke off all ties with anyone who I felt bad to be around.
- I wrote software again. Instead of blind investing in the stock market I downloaded 50 years of stock data and started statistically modeling what happens in hundreds of different situations. Doing this, I developed ideas for trading systems which I shared freely with several hedge fund managers, some of whom gave me money to manage.
- I wrote down ideas every day of articles I could write about the Internet and stocks. Bit by bit, places like thestreet dot com, the financial times, forbes, yahoo finance, and other places started publishing them. Bit by bit they started paying me for them.
- I prayed every day. I was grateful for my daughters. I was grateful for what I had. I didn’t fight reality or regret. This was my reality and I had to make the best of it.
- Every day I came up with ideas for new businesses. I had a waiter’s pad. I would go to a cafe at 6 in the morning with about 4 books and read for an hour or two and then start writing down ideas for new businesses, articles, trading systems, etc.
- I started a hedge fund. I started a fund of hedge funds. I started a newsletter. I did deals. I made introductions every day, expanding my brand new network from scratch. I got involved in a mental health company I sold for $41mm.
- I started a website, Stockpickr! which got millions of unique users. I found advertising for it. I sold it to Stock Market – Business News, Market Data, Stock Analysis – TheStreet
- I had made millions again from scratch.

Then I stopped using the fundamental techniques I described above. Every time I’ve lost money it’s because I squandered my physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health.

I was really bad.

And then I lost it all again.

- And then I built it up again. In a completely different way but using the same basic fundamental techniques of health that I described above. Of trying to create value for people. Of trying to go from success to success.

And I hope I can keep building. I hope I don’t revert back to my addictive tendencies. I think this time I learned. Every day without fail I focus on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health.

But life brings with it many challenges and many things to learn. I surrender to whatever I need to still learn.

In just six years Zynga has revolutionized the gaming world and built a $1.82 billion company in the process. Zynga has acquired users at a faster rate than other gaming company in history. Consequently it has a lot to teach aspiring entrepreneurs about acquiring customers. They have also forged a uniquely viral marketing strategy that has turned their own customers into brand ambassadors. Here we will look at the secrets to Zyngas fast growth and what it can teach us about growing our own businesses.

Focus On Your Key Customers

The percentage of Zynga players that actually purchase something is only 2.5% of all the players. However Zynga still managed to earn $317 million in revenue in the third quarter of 2012. It is estimated that there are approximately 182 million unique users of Zynga’s games a month . This means that the 4.5million users that actually purchased something spent on average $70.40.

That’s a pretty high spend when you consider they are only purchasing virtual goods. It also demonstrates the value of concentrating on your core customers. Zynga is a free game and thus has a lot on of non paying users however these results will be similar for many other businesses as well.

Most businesses have a few highly profitable customers. It makes sense to focus on attracting more of these key customers and maximizing their spend. It is also important that you give these customers more opportunities to spend their cash. With Zynga games there is always something else that these hard core fans can spend their money on.

Don’t Give Up

Before Mark Pincus launched Zynga he had already experienced three other failures. One of these was an online advertising company called TagSense. Another was Tribe.net which he founded in 2003. This was an early social network that was in Pincus’s words “Facebook meets craigslitst”. It wasn’t until Zynga that he found a successful business model.

This demonstrates the importance in not giving up before you find something that works. Mark Pincus when asked about the cause of the failure of those earlier business models said that they occurred because although he was able to get them funded the ideas themselves were only marginal at best. He noted that in order for a company to be a success on the scale of Zynga it needed to be based on a great concept.

Be Careful About Accepting Funding

One of the lessons that Pincus drew form TagSense and Tribe.net was the dangers of accepting venture capital funding. He said that while many entrepreneurs blame VCs for changing the direction of the business it is actually the entrepreneurs themselves that are at fault. When you accept VC funding you are agreeing to give up some element of control over your business.

With Zynga, Pincus entirely self funded the business for its initial growth. He noted that he would rather have a business which had half the valuation and own the whole thing than have a VC backed company. It is tempting when starting a business to accept funding from any source in order to grow it as large as possible in the shortest space of time. But as Pincus has shown there are consequences to taking VC money.

It also shows how quickly you can grow a business, even a self funded one, when you have unique business concept and sound marketing plan. When Pincus did eventually start taking investors money he was able to negotiate very favourable terms because the business was already profitable and growing quickly. The common shares that were issued only had 1/10th the voting power of the shares that Pincus held. When the company had its IPO the shares that Mark Pincus held gave him 70 times more voting rights than those issued to the public.

Turn Your Customers Into Your Promoters

In any Zynga game their will come a point when in order for the player to progress they must invite their friends to join in on the game. Zynga has also made it possible to gift items to your friends. While users may not want to bother their friends to play the game, the idea of an altruistic act of giving presents can be converted into an effective marketing tool.

In order to ensure that there is a large pool of promoters for their new games, Zynga spends heavily on Facebook advertising in the initial push. This creates a critical mass of players who then draw in their own friends and thus spread the game virally. While we may not all have businesses that lend themselves so neatly to viral marketing the idea of using our customers as advocates is something that all companies can incorporate.

Back The Right Horse

Zyngas early games were released on the MySpace platform, where many companies were creating free games based on an advertising model. However Pincus was early to recognize that Facebook would be the social network of the future.

The first game for the Facebook platform was released in 2007 and since then it has focused its attentions there. As Facebook’s own user based quickly grew, Zynga was able to ride the wave of popularity. Zynga would never have been such a big success if it hadn’t aligned itself with Facebook so early on.

While there is some element of luck involved, there were many other companies that failed to recognize the opportunity that Facebook posed or that it would be such a clear winner over MySpace. Companies that want to grow quickly should look for markets that are set to explode. It is easier to grow your own business at a fast rate if the market you are targeting is also expanding rapidly.

Fail Quickly

Zynga has a quick development process and launches new games often. However if a game is not working, Pincus is happy to kill it off. The company spent 3 months developing a role playing game. When the game didn’t become viral sensation like Farmville or Poker, Zynga was quick to eliminate it. By launching often and eliminating what doesn’t work Zynga is able to concentrate on growing the winners. The willingness to fail quickly is something that all businesses can learn from.

Today, mobile phones have become a part of our everyday lives, a necessity tool that is a “must-have” to manage day-to-day activities more effectively. Do you even keep a track of how many times do you reach out for your mobile device? How much do you use your handset each day to make your complex life much simpler? Right from checking emails, sending texts to watching news, reading e-books and coming to the basics, making a call while on the move.

For effective time management, mobile phone technology has become an integral part our daily human functioning mechanisms. However, little does a common man possess fair know-how on the cons of the technology and how the mobile phone technology works from the technical point of view, we all might completely agree with the user-friendly functionalities offered by the mobile phone.

In the recent past, it was just the mobile phone that made life bit more manageable, but now with the advent of smart phone technologies, people seem to be glued to their handsets like never before. The days of being immersed and involved with Television blockbusters are bygone, though a very few still stay with the olden times.

The generation next at most times with the increase of disposable incomes, possess smart phones, that help access not just educational content via video sites, but has helped transmission of data and information at a much faster pace. The number of cell phone users is skyrocketing numbers with every passing year and it’s hard to believe, that people today are very much reliant on the mobile phone technology.

History

Do you know that the first ever mobile phone call using the technology of today’s times was made using the Vodafone network in UK, way back in 1985? An analogue system of communication based on radio waves was used in the first generation of mobile phones. Though we prefer not to look back at the times, we have indeed come a long way.

Types of Mobile Phone Technology

The wireless mobile phone technology more commonly used are GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) or CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) to access information and stay connected at all times.

GSM technology is a second generation telecommunication standard for digital mobile cellular services and operates in three frequency bands: 900MHz, 1800MHz and 1900MHz. While GSM offers multiple advantages over CDMA technologies, which use a special coding scheme that allows multiple users to share common access to a single network.

CDMA consistently provides better capacity for voice and data communication over commercial mobile technologies.

How does a Mobile Phone Technology Work?

A mobile phone sends and receives information transmitted by radio frequency signals transmitted from the phone to the nearby base station and incoming signals are received by the phone at slightly different frequencies. Smart phones today support modern technologies like Bluetooth, infrared, MMS and facilitate internet services via GPRS.

The battery of mobile phones have switched over times from the nickel metal-hydride or lithium ion batteries to the lithium polymer batteries of today that are light-weight and offer flexibility in shape.

Under the battery, lies the SIM (Subscriber Identification Module) which is a small chip that stores the mobile configuration details and information about the handset.

Future of Mobile Phone Technology

The next generation of cell phone technology awaits morphing features with all time connected gaming consoles, full-featured TVs and also serve as credit cards for checking into your account. The data on cell phone networks will move at several megabits per second and will co-exist with Wi-Fi, Wi-Max. The devices will have a sleeker look, better battery life, and high-resolution cameras (8megapixels and beyond) with advanced image processing capabilities at cheaper costs.

With the help of inventive coding methods, the 3G mobile network capacity is boosted and hence cell phones can handle data at speeds upto 384kbps under favorable conditions. 4G technologies with remarkably higher speeds of connectivity and internet access are on anvil.

Virtual reality is the way to go for mobile phone technology companies and could possibly be even used as a identification tool to open doors, access subways, prove your identity and enormous possibilities challenging human imaginations and beyond.
