I figured I would give out some links to some great Summer Party Themes to help with that fun summertime party. Now my daughter’s party is coming up in two weeks and of course she picks a Penguin Party Theme out of all things. So I am working on that and will update with all the photos and ideas I use for a COOL party in the heat of the summer.

Flip Flop Birthday Party – I really like this one and all the fun theme supplies that go along with it – I especially like the Flip Flop Pinata.

LadyBug Birthday Party – This is a very popular theme and why not – who does not love Ladybugs? Ok maybe some, but very few – they are lucky you know!!!

Luau Birthday Party – One of my favorites and one I have done myself – it is always a hit at any summer party and I linked to my blog where I have many many posts on great ideas you can use for this theme – so be sure to scroll through them all – lots of really unique ones there for you.

Flamingo Birthday Party – Having once lived in Florida I fell in love with Flamingos and this party theme will be all about them and of course PINK PINK PINK.

Beach Monkey Birthday Party – Have you even seen a Monkey on the Beach? I know I have not, but this party is a big hit with all the monkey lovers with a beach flare.

Slip n Slides for Birthday Party Fun – At all my summer parties I always have a Slip n Slide for the kids – even though we have a pool – the kids absolutely love to belly slide down them and have a great time.

Pool Party Games – Great Game Ideas the kids can play in the pool.

Under the Sea Birthday Party – Lots of fun and the kids can Stuff Dolphins, Whales and Sharks.

Stuff a Plush Birthday Party – Just like Build a Bear, but in the comfort of your own home for a fraction of the cost – 100’s of animals choices available.

All of those girls will be happy to know that the Jonas Brothers Party Supplies have been released – I can hear the high pitched screams now. I think Disney did a great job on the design – it is very mature looking I think. I also think they made a great selection of items to choose from. So Parents give those screaming fans a party to remember with those adorable Jonas Brothers Party Supplies – I can just see the girls kissing their plates that feature Joe, Nick and Kevin. I also added a post on Jonas Brothers Birthday Cakes – all of the edible images available – so they really can eat them all up!! lol

Some of my other posts have been the G-Force Birthday Party Theme – I have to tell you I cannot wait to see this movie – being an owner of 9 pets – An Elite force of Animals is right up my alley. Sometimes I think mine are on a spy mission in my own house. This party with definitely be a popular one with the kids – no doubt.

I also posted some of my own Favor Bag making details on How to make a Luau Favor Gift bag and a Teddy Bear Favor Gift Bag – they are both fun and so simple to do and the guests always love them. I will be sharing more of my ideas coming soon.

Another fun post I did was on Cupcake Decorating Ideas using Cupcake Rings and Cupcake Picks. I really like using cupcakes at parties vs. cakes to avoid all the kid arguments – oh and it is easier on me to not have to cut the cake – is that wrong? Oh well the kids love them anyway and I have never had any complaints.

Then last but not least I added a post on Personalized Birthday Party Posters. I really feel in love with these – kids really like to see their names – I know I did when I was young – oh heck I still do who am I kidding. These are available in almost any theme and you can add any sentiment you like – they are great for birthday party decorations or a great gift idea. Wow I guess I have been busy – as my family says – Blog Blog Blog. What I say – Yeah so!!!

Despite my announcement a week or so ago that I was jumping back in the saddle and going to start writing more again after a break, I haven’t lived up to my own expectations. It’s odd perhaps, but when I’m failing, I’m motivated to work harder, but when I’m “succeeding”, I sometimes lose the drive. I think thats odd. But, it seems to happen to me. I’m really starting to get the “multiple streams of income” coming in now, not huge, but siginificant. Now my brain doesn’t want to buckle down and just write, write, write.

In reality, I think I’m processing what I really want to do, what my game plan should be for the future. Should I focus more development time on my own website, more on Squidoo which has been a tremendous help for me, or start doing more with other, similar sites? I’ve experienced what happens when a site decides to quit, and you lose all of that work. It’s not that I think that will happen to Squidoo, but it’s becoming a significant income ,and loosing it would be devastating. I could move things if that were to happen, but the reality is the URL would change, and the traffic probably lost. Stick with what’s working or put more effort into other things and spread myself around for security’s sake. I want to do both, the question is how to do it all and stay sane.

Enough of that. I created a new hubpage on discussing any marital arguments with others, not really my expertise, but just a rant really, wanting people to think about what it is they are really doing sometimes. I also created a lens on a new GPS device with a built-in camera. It’s not for automobiles, it’s for outdoor use. For those of us who hike, or fish, hunt, etc. these are really nice and handy.

I continue to be happy with RedGage. I’m posting really just to update those of you who have concerns. I have seen several postings related to their committment to thwart SPAM. They are even restrictive about comments for this reason. I had an article featured, which boosted my earnings a bit. I think I’ve made only $5.25 or something so far but it’s not intended to help me earning a living, just to give me more for what I’ve already done and provide some “do follow” backlinks. Luckily, my lenses are welcomed there and in fact, my own content is ALL they want. Certainly makes things easier and less time consuming. I’ve seen a lot of great content there, many artists, writers, and photographers on the site. I hope it stays that way. My only complaint is that the site is rather slow at times.

It's summer and surprisingly hot here in coastal Vancouver. So I've been wearing my hair in a ponytail lately. And sporting rolled up jeans and oversize white oxford shirts. And I realised that I've been transported to the 50's and have become Ritchie Cunningham's little sister. Sock hops, slicked hair and poodle skirts are all the rage. And my saddle shoes are swell.

I finished another post at my Children’s Party Blog – it is a Hot Wheels Birthday Party.
