update2: ignore this torrent unless you really want to do a lot of messing. its not working too well for some people (in windows even though its a wmv codec...)
although it plays fine for me in osx (leopard) with flip4mac wmv plugin

update: in haste i left the file extension off the file inside the zip file. it is a .mov file - so rename it and all will be fine. sorry!

evening, my first torrent in months and months.

last week the band played a concert in helsinki - well it was a short acoustic set just before they showed the "heima" tour movie.

the acoustic set was fantastic (as was the movie - you are all in for a treat when it spreads around the world in a few weeks)

this recording is the last time sigur rós did a full concert. back in the lovely summer of 2006. 7 or 8 months ago. a great setlist, complete with random people in the audience talking a little too much but thats life.

evening folks

greetings from a snowy helsinki.

just an update about a few things. just before christmas my hosting company said "no more tracker on your site darren as its taking up too many resources and slowing down other sites". so i had to take it down.

from now on all the torrents i do will be uploaded to one of two places:

if its audio, then it will go onto --> bt.etree.org (you dont have to register to download torrents from there)

if its a dvd, then i will put it onto www.dimeadozen.org (sorry, but you do have to register for that site).

so www.drrnwbb.com/bt/ will become a place where you can sign up for the mailing list (or concert info log: http://www.drrnwbb.com/bt/log/), or get links to the sigur-ros.co.uk dc++ and ftp hubs.

i'll still be putting up as many sigur rós and amiina recordings as i can get my hands on.

the torrent tracker will be offline for the immediate future. my hosting company has some issues with it. as soon as i can sort out the tracker then i will let ye all know. sorry for any trouble caused.

concerts will continue to be uploaded to trackers - but it will be a few weeks before its all sorted out again. anyway have a nice christmas and new years and stuff. email me if you have any feedback.
