As we are all aware, the time to say goodbye to the class of 2012 is very near. Students have begun the countdown to summer: Six classes, three papers to write, four finals to take, and then we are free! Free as birds! On May 20, 2012, the senior class will be honored at Salve’s 62nd Commencement ceremony and their journey at Salve will end there, while their journey in the “real world” will soon begin. For some, this day signifies the beginning of a new adventure with great expectations that lie ahead, and for others, this day is leaving them with many mixed emotions regarding what they will do after Salve.

What does the future have in store for the class of 2012? Will they follow their dreams and excel in the field they had prepared for while pursuing their college education? Or will they choose a new profession, and realize that what they had hoped to do was perhaps just not for them?

Many underclassmen have become close with a few of the graduating seniors, so the upcoming graduation will be a bittersweet moment for them.

Although it will be sad to see them go, underclassmen should take comfort, for the graduating seniors will have so much to offer in their new endeavors, and will be sure to thrive in whatever they pursue.

Numerous Salve graduates of the past have embarked on life beyond college and found success, so it is clear that this year’s senior class will be no exception. Salve earns the distinction as a school of integrity that truly cares for its students, and works to the best of its capability to ensure that the students are well-prepared for life after graduation.

There are many options for the seniors, whether they choose to continue their studies and get their Master’s degree, apply for a job either in their home town or a place completely new, or even to pack their bags and run around through Europe just because they’re young and it seemed like the “thing to do,” the possibilities are endless and everything will be what each student makes of it.

Whether it be through its unique classes, its active Career Development Center, or strong academic programs, Salve works diligently in helping students craft their skills and knowledge, to help them become the best thinkers and workers. Salve’s curriculum encourages students to live out lives of compassion and mercy, as well as encouraging them to look at the world with open curiosity and to always have empathy towards others. It can be argued that such required courses as ‘What it Means to be Human’, ‘Philosophy and Responsibility’ and ‘Capstone’ are not just simply classes, but also excellent sources of preparation for the real world.

The Mosaic truly wishes the class of 2012 the best of luck and endless success. Let’s take a look at what the future holds for a few of these soon to be grads.

Amanda Connolly- Graduating Senior, Amanda Connolly will be spending the summer working in Appalachia for the Appalachia Service Project. She plans to spend a year working in the social work field, then going back to school to get her Master’s in social work.

Benjamin Mead- Senior, Benjamin Mead will be going for his Master’s in Theological Studies at Boston University School of Theology.

Maggie Reder- After graduation, Senior, Maggie Reder will be going to Greece for a month. After her trip to Greece, she is moving to New York City to work in fashion public relations.

On Monday and Tuesday, April 23 and 24, Dr. Lenn Goodman came to Salve as a part of the Atwood Lecture Series. The title of his lecture was Creation and Evolution, the same title as the book he wrote on the topic. Dr. Goodman is a professor of the humanities and philosophy at Vanderbilt University.

The lecture began with the analysis of the ideas of creation and evolution from their origins. Dr. Goodman’s in-depth study of these two different theories that answer the big question of “where did we come from” shows that they weren’t always opposites. Creation and evolution were once allies in their beliefs, rivaled by eternalists, who believed that all things had always been the same based on the laws of nature never changing. Dr. Goodman explained how, over time, eternalist views assimilated into those of creationalists, and how the two ideas became the mutually exclusive opponents that they are today. Based on this distance between two ideologies, the main point that Dr. Goodman wanted to get across in his lecture was harmony.

“Evolution is a support of religion, not a threat to it,” said Goodman.

The topic of this lecture in particular was requested by Dr. Khalil Habib of Salve’s Philosophy Department, who had asked Dr. Goodman to present on a lecture based on his book Creation and Evolution.

“I believe [Dr. Habib] thought we have a lot of faculty, students, alumni, who are concerned with how we connect our scientific theories and our religious commitments,” said Goodman.

The student body that attended the lecture agreed.

“I bet his book would be really interesting!” said freshman Hannah Cazzetta.

Overall, students found the lecture to be eye-opening.

“I came away from Dr. Goodman’s lecture with a better understanding that every culture agrees that happiness is knowing God,” said freshman Pat Flynn.

Dr. Goodman provided a visual aid in the form of an outline handout. The handout outlines a summary of Dr. Goodman’s lecture, and can be obtained in PDF form by request from Salve Regina’s Dr. Luigi Bradizza. His contact information can be found on Salve’s Political Science Faculty page; simply e-mail a request to Dr. Bradizza for an electronic copy of the outline. Dr. Goodman is very published, with his focuses on Jewish and Islamic Philosophy. He is currently working on a new translation of “The Guide to the Perplexed” and has a book to be published and released in the next year.

For information on lectures in the Atwood Series, the SalveToday Calendar of Events posts the dates of upcoming lectures.

By Samantha Wood and Lauren Kane -

You read the books, you saw the commercials, you watched the movie, maybe you even have your own mockingjay pin and a shirt that says “I loaf Peeta!”

These may be the extremes of only a few people, but it would be hard not to have heard of this phenomenon, all revolved around The Hunger Games, a movie based on the book by Suzanne Collins of the same name. The movie premiered March 23, 2012, and is ranked #3 for highest opening weekend gross of all time, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com. This book and movie is not only widely popular because of the entertainment factor. It also holds many thought-provoking ideas and connotations that reflect on our society today.

It is because of the extreme popularity and deeper ideas that Anna Mae Mayer, director of the Mercy Center for Spiritual Life, wanted to hold a discussion on the subject. Mayer said, “I watched the movie and found the premise very disturbing, with kids killing each other. I was interested to find out why it is so appealing to so many.”

Though it may be hard to believe, there are some people out there who haven’t poured over the pages of Suzanne Collins’s explosive trilogy. So, if you’re one of those in the dark about the hype, why should you shell out that tenner for a seat to watch The Hunger Games on the big screen? What’s this story all about? Well, allow us to enlighten you. The Hunger Games takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, where 12 poor “districts” (you could consider them states) are ruled over by the excessively wealthy Capitol.

Every year, a boy and girl from each of the districts is selected at random to compete in the Games. They are sent to a large outdoor arena where they are expected to fight to the death for the entertainment of the citizens of the Capitol (though the people of the districts are forced to watch). Enter our heroine, Katniss Everdeen. When Katniss’s younger sister, Prim, is selected to compete in the Games, Katniss steps forward and volunteers to take her place. So begins the adventure into the arena with Katniss. So now that you’re filled in, get together a group of friends, and head to the movies!

The discussion was held in the Mercy Center this past Wednesday, April 25, and was led by junior Megan Sweeney. Sweeney came up with the questions that were discussed, such as “Can a victor truly be a moral or good person? Why or why not?” and “The term ‘Panem’ is translated as ‘bread’ in Latin. How does bread serve as an important symbol in the story? How is it connected to the Christian faith?”

Sweeney was interested in holding this discussion because she read the books when she was 16 years old, and knew that there were so many interesting ideas to discuss. “The author does an amazing job, both in these books and the others that she has written, in dealing with war, and especially the effects it has on children. It’s definitely a warning for our society,” Sweeney said.

Father Kris von Maluski proposed another part of the discussion, revolving around a very critical quote of the movie which was an interesting addition, as it was not included in the book. President Snow (the leader of Panem) says to Seneca Crane (the head of the Hunger Games), “Hope. It is the only thing stronger than fear. A little hope is effective; a lot of hope is dangerous. A spark is fine, as long as it’s contained…. So, contain it.” The discussion revolving around it said that this quote showed the attitude of the government of Panem, to contain the hope of the citizens so as to control them completely.

“This was a really good discussion. It was so interesting to hear what everyone had to say about the underlying themes of this story,” said Mayer afterwards. These themes included the implications of government, the meaning of rivalry, and what truly makes life important.

If you haven’t experienced The Hunger Games yet, join the phenomenon! And may the odds be ever in your favor!

By Kate Drexel -

“There’s a storm coming, Mr. Wayne,” the seductive Anne Hathaway whispers into the ear of British actor, Christian Bale. Cut to the final scene, where a city is crumbling into the shape of a bat symbol. The next words that come onto a white screen: The Dark Knight Rises. This riles up the audience in the dimly lit theater.

The film is set eight years after the events that took place in the previous film, The Dark Knight. Batman has disappeared and when the city of Gotham thinks they are finally at peace, they are proven wrong when well-known comic-book villain, Bane, emerges from the depths of the darkness.

Bane is said to be a physical threat to Batman, due to the fact that he is dependent on a drug that gives him monstrous strength, but bears painful and devastating side effects. Along with Bane, another character emerges from the shadows, the mysterious Selina Kyle, or more commonly known as Catwoman.

These were the only specific details that have been released to the public, due to the fact that the director of the franchise, Christopher Nolan, is what Entertainment Weekly calls a “spoiler-phobic.”

Judging from his previous works such as The Prestige and Inception, Christopher Nolan is notorious for using a lot of impressive stunts in his movies, and requiring his actors to drastically change their physiques. This will be no exception to The Dark Knight.

Tom Hardy gained 30 pounds of muscle to play the role of the malicious character, Bane. Anne Hathaway prepared by pouring through the old Batman comic books that featured Catwoman and had a physical trainer teach her all of the stunts.

The shooting of the film began in England in the early spring of 2011 for 115 days, and it wrapped up in New York City this past November. Locations of the shooting include India, Glasgow, New Jersey, and Pittsburgh.

Nolan used IMAX cameras for much of the filming to enhance the quality of the picture. Fans have questioned whether Nolan will be releasing the film in IMAX 3D, but Nolan refuses to shoot his work in 3D, claiming that it is too overdone.

This film stars the original actors from the other two previous films, Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, and Morgan Freeman.

Christopher Nolan invites three alums from his 2010 film, Inception, to join the cast, Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Marion Cotillard. Joseph Gordon-Levitt portrays John Blake, Gotham City’s beat cop who works for his idol, Commissioner Gordon (Oldman) and Cotillard portrays a potential love-interest for Bale.

Seeing both the teaser and theatrical trailer makes me really excited to see the film, because I am a huge fan of Nolan’s work. I feel that with the Batman trilogy, there cannot be any more remakes, because Nolan has done it. He made Batman come to life in every sense of the way. In my opinion, I think this is going to be the movie of the year, and I know Nolan will not disappoint, because every movie he makes keeps getting better. If you like Batman, you’re bound to enjoy this, however, the film may be unsuitable for audiences under 14, due to the movie’s violence and suspense.

The legend ends July 20, 2012 in IMAX and regular screening.

By Kaitlyn Boisvert -

Students will have the chance to wish away their woes and stresses this Final Exam Week, with the “Wish Upon A Star” Stressbuster, an event sponsored by the campus club VIRGO.

Just as the name implies, the event shall be Disney-themed, with a display and message that embodies the fun and inspirational atmosphere that Disney typically promotes.

Channeling a bit of the tradition of Disney World, the event will feature Disney music, movies, decorations, and displays, as well as activities that can enable attendees to indulge in their inner child and take a much-needed breather from their studies, such as filling out coloring books and making Play-Doh sculptures of their favorite characters.

There will also be a contest for the best Disney-themed costume, and a contest that will award the student who crafts the most impressive looking Disney character sculpture.

In this way, the event will not only be perfect for easing stress, but also giving students a chance to wear Mickey Mouse ears and put Play-Doh artistry skills derived from Kindergarten to good use.

While the club members would like to keep mum on the details of the prizes and have them come as a surprise to the lucky winners, they did reveal that the prizes will be exciting, and are a perfect staple to add to any Disney collection.

According to the club members, deciding upon a theme for this semester’s Stressbuster was almost a no-brainer when someone suggested Disney as a possibility.

According to Faith Krevis, the club secretary, it seemed like the perfect fit. “Many students here at Salve grew up with Disney,” she said. “For many of us, it was a good part of our childhood, and because of that, students can relate to theme, and it can help students truly get into the swing of what the Stressbuster is all about.”

The club VIRGO, which was given its name because it was started in the month of September, is funded by the University’s Counseling Services Department, and it has hosted Stressbusters since the year 1995.

According to Liz Minifie, the Director of Counseling Services and the mentor for VIRGO, the club decided to begin sponsoring Stressbusters for students because she had heard of other colleges that were doing it, and wished to offer the same services to the Salve community. “Our very first Stressbuster went off without a hitch,” said Minifie. “It drew in an immense crowd, and ever since, we have continued to bring in an increasing number of students with each Stressbuster. This one will surely be no exception, since it has such a fun theme, and I can’t wait to hear about its turnout.”

In addition to the Disney-themed displays and activities, the Stressbuster will also have food, courtesy of the Miley cafeteria, and students who would like to truly get into the spirit of the Stressbuster can relax and unwind by signing up for a spot at the massage chairs, where licensed massage therapists will tend to students’ aching backs and help get them in tip-top shape for Finals Week.

The Stressbuster is scheduled to commence on Monday, May 7, 2012, from 10 p.m. to Midnight in Miley Cafeteria. Admission for the event is a dollar or a canned good.

With an evening full of Disney, Play-Doh, and massages, the Stressbuster has the potential to offer students a much needed breather from their studies, as well as a chance to spend a bit of time with friends before the summer break, and it is for this reason students should come and join the fun with VIRGO.

The Disney theme is also perfect for the Stressbuster, especially since it is associated with the songs “Hakuna Matata” (From The Lion King) and “Bare Necessities” (Jungle Book).

The message of both songs perfectly fit the theme of the Stressbuster, with their lessons of “forgetting about your worries and your strife”, and living by a “problem-free philosophy”.

With such empowering and comforting messages, Disney earns the honor of offering a perfect role model of living life in a fun and optimistic way.

It is for this reason that students should sprinkle a bit of fairy dust, make a wish for passing their exams, and fly over to the “Wish Upon a Star” Stressbuster.

By Emily Ferro -

Salve Regina is often considered a small school, beautiful and a community of its own on the Cliffwalk. While Salve is indeed a smaller school than many colleges, it is actually not that small. With about 2,000 undergraduate students (collegeboard.com), Salve has a wide variety of students, with a wide variety of interests. In order to support its students, Salve has nearly 50 student-run and organized clubs to suit almost any interest.

These clubs range from activities like writing for the Mosaic newspaper to playing in the band, dancing with the dance club, or discussing philosophy with the philosophy club. Even if there is not a club to suit a person’s interest, Salve is open to forming a new club if it is what the students are asking for.

With all of these clubs available to students with many different interests, why is club activity struggling on Salve campus? In a survey taken by 73 Salve Regina students, 22 percent of them did consider themselves a member of a club, be it sporting, common interest, or promoting awareness of an issue. At 39 percent, most of the students interviewed were a part of a single club, and the most common type of club was common interest.

Despite what the name suggests, many club participants are not as interested as clubs would hope. A whopping 42 percent of the students who participate in one or more club responded that they attended less than half of the meetings their clubs held, and 9 percent said they never went at all, despite considering themselves a club member.

So why are students missing meetings? There were a few answers, conflicts being the most prominent, followed by other plans with friends, but the fact that 21 percent of students responded that they miss meetings out of sheer disinterest is very disheartening for the executive boards of the campus clubs and the members who do attend regular meetings.

Running a club can be challenging, and when members lose interest, morale can take a hit. Erica Sjogren, member of the Philosophy club, has seen the number of atendees wane over the past year of being a part of the club.

“Last semester there were a good 8 people that showed up each meeting,” she said, “and 4 or 5 others that came occasionally, but when we had to change the time this semester that reduced to like 4.” Sjogren does not simply blame the new meeting time, though, stating, “I think the combination of [the new time] and people just not caring incredibly much just kind of killed it.”

The philosophy club is not the only club with attendance issues. The English Guild has also seen diminishing attendees. “Every meeting was met with the attendance of avid Literature lovers, from a variety of majors here at Salve,” said Amanda Iacampo, the Vice President of the English Guild. “However, this usually only amounted to around five or six students; and the occasional passersby exploring the university’s different clubs.”

Whether the reason for missing club meetings is due to a conflict with homework, other plans with friends, or disinterest, the more students who miss out on meetings, the lower the morale of the regular attenders, and a further decline of attendance seems to be imminent. Lower attendence breeds even lower attendance later on.

One club is threatened with termination because of a lack of members. Love 146, started two years ago by Marie Foti, has suffered a blow to club attendence and because of a disconnect between interest and participation, there was an unwillingness to run for e-board. Mia Lupo, club president, is upset with the outcome. “I may be forced to terminate the club,” she said.

In the same survey about club participation, there were questions regarding social media and how regularly it is used by students. Over 91 percent of students surveyed claimed to check social media sites daily, the most regular being Facebook, which is no surprise. What might come as a shock is that of those interviewed, 57 percent responded that they spent between two and four hours every day on the internet, presumably browsing these social media sites.

Slowly but surely social media is beginning to replace socialization, and this trend is beginning to sweep across campus, posing challenges to campus clubs. To club presidents, members, and students attending Salve next year, take this as a challenge. Don’t let social media replace actual social situations.

Clubs are the heart of any college campus. Students attend to make friends, host fund raisers, hold events for other students, and even plan field trips to exciting places. With so many clubs to join, make it a point to sacrifice one half hour on the internet and participate in a club on campus for your own benefit and for the benefit of the whole Salve community.

If there is no club that immediately interests you, then be ambitious and propose one that does. Joining a club is a great way to make friends, build a resume, and unwind from stressful classes and never-ending drama on Facebook. Find what interests you and run with it. College will be over before you know it, so don’t miss out on the opportunity of feeling the community of a club.

Get your guacamole and your enchiladas ready, because Cinco de Mayo is on its way!

Translating as “the fifth of May”, the holiday is generally thought to be the celebration of Mexico’s independence day. This idea, however, is false.

According to the Kaboose website, Cinco de Mayo is in fact the anniversary of a battle that took place between the Mexicans and the French in 1862. The battle is known as the Battle of Puebla, and it celebrates Mexico’s unlikely victory over the French.

It also commemorates a historic moment for Mexican national pride in which their undersized, poorly armed unit of approximately 4,500 men was able to defeat the well-resourced French army of 6,500 soldiers.

The holiday is celebrated nationwide in the United States and regionally in Mexico, primarily in the state of Puebla, where it is referred to as “El Dia de la Batalla de Puebla” meaning
“The Day of the Battle of Puebla.”

For those in the state of Puebla, the date is observed to commemorate the Battle of Puebla under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín. For U.S. citizens, however, the day is a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride, as well as an effort to honor freedom and democracy during the primary years of the American Civil War.

Mexicans and Latinos living in California during the American Civil War are credited with being the first to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in the United States. United Press International reports “The holiday crossed over into the United States in the 1950s and 1960s but didn’t gain popularity until the 1980s when marketers, especially beer companies, capitalized on the celebratory nature of the day and began to promote it.”

Today, the largest Cinco de Mayo event in the world is held in Los Angeles, California, where more than half a million people rejoice with vivacious music and delicious foods. The celebration is called the Fiesta Broadway, and takes up approximately 24 square blocks of downtown Los Angeles.

Interestingly enough, it is speculated that Americans celebrate Cinco de Mayo more than Mexicans do. According to an article titled “Why Is Cinco de Mayo celebrated more in the U.S. than in Mexico?”, Mexico celebrates Cinco de Mayo in a very-low key manner. While schoolkids get the day off from school, the major parades and fiestas mainly take place in the city of Puebla, where a military parade is held and a mock battle is staged to commemorate the Battle of Puebla.

In America, however, the holiday is highly celebrated in regions all over the country, as Americans honor Mexican culture and history by eating Mexican food and wearing Cinco de Mayo clothes.

While she will not be attending this year’s extravagant Fiesta Broadway, sophomore Bridgett Smith states, “I’m going to New York but I’m bringing my sombrero!”

Hopefully, other students at Salve Regina will be just as festive on Cinco de Mayo, and have fun as they truly get into the holiday spirit.

Everyone familiar with Newport knows that it is home to some of the most delicious restaurants in Rhode Island. There are steak houses, tacquerias and pubs. A tiny restaurant in a hidden corner of Newport, RI is Marina Café & Pub. As students we don’t necessarily have the money to eat out all of the time. The seasonal restaurant has kept us in mind for their opening on Friday, May 4.

After sitting down with Patrick Golden, Marina Café’s Vice President and General Manager, it has become apparent that Marina Café and Pub can be added to the list of student-friendly restaurants. Patrick Golden oversees the operations of the whole restaurant, which includes the kitchen, bartender and wait staff. This is the third year Marina Café & Pub has been open. “It’s casual,” said Golden. “The food is traditional New England entrees with a little bit of Caribbean influence.”

Golden notes that the striped bass is his favorite, but the variety of their menu should appeal to students. Fish and chips, burgers and seafood are the most popular items on their menu for younger people. Starting May 4, the restaurant will be open from 11:30 a.m. – 10:00 p.m., serving food all day. Students 21 years and older are invited to the bar, open until 1:00 a.m.

While students are starting to find their summer apartments, Golden is getting ready for the busy summer season. While this tends to be extremely profitable, Golden wants to introduce his restaurant to a younger clientele. The restaurant’s menu has been completely revised. Golden explains that they brought back the most popular items, and did away with some less popular choices. There will be a fresh fish of the day, every day. “We have been pretty successful the last couple of years,” said Golden. “But we are making tweaks to keep improving.” The restaurant is located on Goat Island and over a completely different perspective of Newport.

“We are the only restaurant that has a full view of Newport,” said Golden. “You look directly into the harbor and all the other restaurants look out.” Even Salve students, who look off the cliff walk from their calculus class in O’Hare will appreciate the change in perspective. Golden has implemented key discounts for the opening. Mondays there will be dollar raw bar, all day and night, which includes fresh shrimp cocktail and little necks. Tuesday is local nights, which means if you are a resident of Aquidneck Island, Jamestown or Goat Island, you want to be there for 20 percent off.

The restaurant is looking into adding even more discounts in order to reach out to college students. So the next time you go for a meal and don’t feel like spending a lot of money, Marina Pub & Café is in your best interest.

Marina Café & Pub is seasonal and will be open until October 5, 2012.

By Mia Lupo -

When we think of American propaganda during World War II, we think of the graphic posters illustrating marching soldiers and Uncle Sam urging the reader to “BUY WAR BONDS.” We picture Rosie the Riveter wearing her red bandana and blue shirt, flexing her arm, telling female viewers “WE CAN DO IT” and contribute to war effort. We remember the government encouraging families to plant fruits and vegetables at home—“YOUR VICTORY GARDEN COUNTS MORE THAN EVER!”

When we think of war propaganda, we certainly do not think of beautifully crafted silk scarves. The “Beauty as Duty” exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston showcases the role of textiles in Britain during World War II. Although clothing had to conform to government regulation, the clothing still remained fashionable.

The exhibit shows examples of typical “utility” dress during the war effort, such as women’s day-dresses, but it is centralized around scarves. Textile firms created silk and rayon blend scarves with beautiful, yet inspiring, printed images that related to the war effort abroad and at home.

Most of the scarves in the exhibit were produced by an upscale textile and fashion firm named Jacqmar. The firm was founded by Joseph “Jack” Lyons and his wife Mary in the 1930s. Jacqmar earned its reputation for its propaganda printed scarves designed by the firm’s in-house visionary, Arnold Lever.

Unlike the United States, Britain was much closer to the battles in Europe. The German army heavily attacked London for eight months, from September 1940 until May 1941, a period known as “The Blitz”. Despite the damage inflicted on London, it ultimately marked a turning point in the war—the bombings were a futile effort by Hitler and his forces to disable Britain’s Royal Air Force. Even after the Allies won World War II, the British still suffered from food and clothing shortages.

Scarves, like those by Jacqmar or Ascher, were not deemed utility clothing, so they were still subject to taxation. Nevertheless, printed scarves were in popular demand for the duration of the 1940s.

Jacqmar scarves cost 55 shillings and 10 pence, the modern equivalent of about $125 USD. Lower priced scarves were also available for about five shillings or $10 USD. My favorite scarf in the exhibit featured Winston Churchill the Prime Minister of England and prominent leader during World War II. The rayon scarf was printed around 1943, and manufactured by Filmyra Fabrics in a wide variety of color schemes.

A Churchill quote is printed around the scarf’s borders: “We will fight on the seas and oceans. We shall fight with glowing strength and confidence in the air. We shall defend our island whatever the cost may be.” These words capture the British spirit of fortitude and hope that supported the people during the war effort.

Britain still communicates their national pride in their fashions today. Interestingly enough, Jack Wills, a British chain-boutique, has a Jacqmar inspired scarf for the summer season. The Heatherwood scarf features a similar design, brags the vivid color palette, and displays the same British glory by displaying the country’s flags.

“Beauty as Duty”: Textiles and the Home Front in WWII Britain will be on display until May 28, 2012 in the Hilles Gallery 152 Selection.
