Sarasota Dance lessons begin

Stage Door Studios began our 2010 Fall Dance lessons on Tuesday. We welcome every single student, parent and peanut gallery—pun intended for what already appears to be a brilliant group of dance students and future musical theatre stars.

As always, Stage Door Studios fulfills the promise and potential to bring each student to their maximum level of skill as well as the enjoyment that dance brings to everyone everywhere.

This fall we are offering our usual dance lessons such as Mommy and Me, Broadway Stars, Broadway Star Combo, Chorus Line Combo, Mini Hip Hop, Musical Theater Class, Headliner Jr, and Headliners*.

This year the Headliners Performance team (1st and 2nd grade class) gets the very special opportunity to perform around Sarasota as well as a Regional dance competition with a magical opportunity to perform at Walt Disney World in Orlando!

We are extremely excited for all of our first time dance students and we welcome back all of our loyal, returning dancers. It is our committment to the entire dance community as well as Sarasota to pave the way to

open the door of opportunity

As the song goes, this years dance lessons in Sarasota’s very special and talented kids is truly One singular senstation!!!

Come see our studio updates and staff additions this Saturday, Aug 21st 1:00-4:00pm!!! Staff will be on hand to give you a tour of the facility and we’ll be accepting registrations for new students. Looking forward to showing you what separates us from the rest!!

Stage Door Studio Summer Camp

We have three more weeks of Summer Camp left!! Don’t miss out on Camp Wonderland, Camp 50′s and 60′s, and Camp Reality TV Jr!! Camp Disney and Camp Rock Star were a HIT!!

Time is running out to order this year’s beautiful Stage Door dance portraits.  In a few weeks, the viewing site will go offline and you will no longer be able to order.  Don’t miss your chance to have a treasured memory of this year in dance.  Jill and all the teachers have worked hard with the dancers, and you can be proud of their progress.  Dance portraits are one of the best ways to chronicle how much a dancer improves and grows each year.

If you paid a sitting fee for individual portraits, then you have a $10.00 credit toward a package or regular proof book.  Be sure to go online and order your package soon.

If you haven’t gotten your tickets to Stage Door Studios’ Recital “Dancing to New Heights”, you had better call the office IMMEDIATELY!!! We are down to the last few rows on Sat 2pm and 7pm show and are SOLD OUT for the Sunday 2:30pm show. Hope to see everyone there!!

Stage Door Studios took 55 dancers to the Starbound Competition in Tampa, FL on May 1st and 2nd. Sydnee Berman and Brooke Cash received top honors in the Top Ten Soloists, Alex Patchett and Sydnee Berman made it into the Top Five Duets/Trios, Blackbird and Flight were in the Top Ten Junior Dances, and Jump and We Go Together made it into the Top Three Petite Dances!! The biggest award was the SMILES on all of our dancers faces!! Go Stage Door!

Stage Door Studios’ tickets for the June 12th (2:00pm and 7:00pm) and June 13th (2:30pm) Recitals will be on SALE on May 15th at 1:00pm at the studio. Tickets are Reserved Seating!! See you then!
