Cupcake Thief

I have a sweet card to share today using a Mo's Digital Pencil stamp called Cupcake Thief.

I have loved this stamp for years and I'm so happy that I finally have it. It was so much fun to colour :)

I kept the card clean and simple.

I coloured the image with copics, used the Sweet die (Whimsy stamps) and stamped the rest of the greeting using a Whimsy stamps sentiment set.

Val

I made a birthday card for my "arty" daughter with the gorgeous Val stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil.

Val includes the painted heart image in colour, while Val is black and white so you can have fun colouring her (but save some time on the heart) :)

After colouring her I added some paint splats using a paintbrush with Distress Oxides and a little water.

I actually don't own a red Distress Oxide (shocking, I know!) but I used Ripe Persimmon which was actually a very close match. I guess this could depend on your printer and ink though? I also splattered on some Lemonade Oxide with it.

Winter Raccoon

I decided to make a start on my Christmas cards for this year with the super cute Winter Raccoon by Mo's Digital Pencil.

I coloured him with Copics, cut him out and placed him on the background I created.

I masked the bottom of the card to make snow and then blended Lilac, Speckled Egg and Peacock Distress Oxide inks and used Walnut Distress Oxide around the edge.

I then flicked on some water and white Posca pen.

The tree stamp is from Lavinia stamps with Twilight Versa fine Claire and the sentiment is an old Stampin Up one.

Little Punk

I have a birthday card to share today using a wonderful stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil called Little Punk. I love this image and it comes with this fun sentiment and a 'Happy Birthday' in the same font which I used on the inside of the card.

I coloured her with copics which was fun, ripped the side panels in true punk style and luckily found some grungy background paper to complete the look:)

Irish Setter Clover

I have a card to share today using the gorgeous Irish Setter Clover from Mo's Digital Pencil.

Who could resist this puppy?!!!

After colouring the stamp I die-cut it using a stitched square die and then cut off one side.

For the background, I stamped onto the card itself using a Plaid stamp and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide.

The sentiment stamp and matching die are from a Dreamerland Crafts set.

I think this stamp could be used for St. Patrick's Day or for just about any occasion.

I've made a card this week with a very pretty stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil called More Tulips. I love all kinds of tulips but decided on a big bunch of pink ones.

I have a cute clean and simple card to share today using a wonderful image from Mo's Digital Pencil called Say It Aint So. The sentiment is included and I love the way it looks with the stamp. I haven't decided what I'll use this card for yet but I think it would be a great birthday card as in "I can't believe you're (21, 30, 40, 50 etc) or for a going away, leaving job or retirement card. It's so versatile!

I have a card to share today using the amazing Wiz stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil.

I have admired this stamp for such a long time but felt a bit worried about doing it justice. I finally plucked up the courage to give it a try and I am so glad I did. I love how it turned out! :)

I used a combination of B and BV copics to colour his robe and hat and I really like the effect it gave.

I also used a sparkly silver gel pen to draw over the top of the lightning and the sentiment is from Penny Black.

My daughter requested I use it to make a wedding card for a friend of hers. And I'm happy to say the bride loved it :)

Love Peace Joy Mouse

I have a Christmas card to share using the gorgeous Love Peace Joy Mouse from Mo's Digital Pencil. This is my last Christmas card for the year and I'm so glad I started early and kept to my plan of making one a month. It has made this time of year a lot less stressful :)

I coloured her with Copics and decided to experiment a little by using a sparkly silver gel pen for the wreath. I wasn't very happy with it at first but once I used a white gel pen over the top to highlight some areas I thought it looked nice.

The background was a gel press with stencil piece I had made ages ago while experimenting. I finally found a good use for it but have no memory now of how I made it unfortunately.

I've made another card using the Father Christmas Gnome set from Mo's Digital Pencil. I love colouring this gnome!

I made a taller than usual card and used lemonade and persimmon Distress Oxide inks with a star stencil for the background. I then used a white posca pen to make some splatters over the top.

The sentiment is from the Gnome 2022 set from Mo's Digital Pencil.

I have a card to share today using O Christmas Tree from Mo's Digital Stamps.

It's such a gorgeous image and lots of fun to colour too :)

I also used a few old favourites of mine on this card. Some paper from Little Yellow Bicycle that I've been hoarding and love, the Magnolia Tilda Lace die and an old stampin up stamp for the sentiment. All of them brought back happy memories :)

Gnome 2022

I have made a Christmas card this week with a truly wonderful stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil called Gnome 2022. He is so beautifully drawn and has so much character!

I coloured him with Copics and cut him out and then had fun creating a background for him.

I used my gel press and brayered on some wisteria ink. Then I used some Brusho and water splats on it too.

For the bottom section I used the Pebble stencil from Lavinia with Walnut stain Distress Oxide.

I then stamped a Christmas sentiment repeatedly in the background and used a Lavinia stamp called Berry Wreath at the top. I coloured some of the berries with a gold pen and some with white Posca pen. I then splattered some water and white Posca over the whole panel.

Snowboard Santa

I made another Christmas card for my stash this week. This time I chose to use this fun stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil called Snowboard Santa.

I coloured Santa with copics, added some gold gel pen for his buckle and white posca pen for other accents and cut him out. Then I created the background with distress oxide inks which I splashed with water and white posca and just tore some white card for the front snow hill. I used foam tape behind Santa to give him more dimension.

I have a card to share today using a truly beautiful stamp called Rapunzel (Go Away) by Mo's Digital Pencil.

I made her for one of my daughters who is a big reader and she has long hair too (but not quite this long) :)

This did take me a long time to colour and I felt like I used almost every Copic colour I own but I really enjoyed it!!!

I stamped the kraft background using Speckled Egg distress oxide and an old text stamp from Stampin Up.

It looks so pretty!

It is so sweet I knew it would be perfect :)

Beach Baby

I have a very summery card to share this week. Even though it's only the first week of Winter here I'm already looking forward to Summer!!! I've used a stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil called Beach Baby and I think it's very sweet.

I created the background using different papers from an old Glitz pad called Uncharted Waters. It's very old and I've been hoarding it because I love it so much:) I also used an old Whimsy stamp in the background and rectangle dies from CC Designs.

Santa's Little Helper

I set myself a goal this year to make at least one Christmas card each month and luckily Mo's Digital Pencil have so many great ones to choose from. This one is an oldie but a goodie called Santa's Little Helper.
