Hey everyone! It's been a while since I visited my own blog, right?! But I'm back from the ribbon craziness to bring you something special! Oh goodness, I am realizing this could get pretty addictive! I adore Glimmer Bean! Here she is decked out in purple.

The NEW Ribbon Carousel and a Giveaway!

Oh my...with all the weather mishaps this week, I'm running behind with everything! But I've got some eye candy for you today using this month's Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients Kits! Hey everyone! Just a quick note to let you know that I am still alive and kickin' just been sooooo busy with the RibbonCarousel.com store. CHA is coming so you know what that means....new products....new designs......lots of fun after the works all done!

For now I have some super exciting news to share: Taylor asked me to stay on the Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients Design Team! Our new SHOWCASE team will be bringing you lots of fresh ideas using our new releases and some fun tutorials and other special posts along the way.

Here's a quick peek at a card I made using both the Miss Anya Garland stamp set and the clear Handmade By stamp set. So adorable!

I was feeling like rockin' the bling to bring in the New Year! The Sheer Pull Flower/Bow Ribbon is from RibbonCarousel.com. I love it, because you can pull the ribbon through those 3 satin green bands in the back of it, to make ruffles, flowers, all kinds of cute stuff. Miss Anya is adorable paper-pieced with Basic Grey Picadilly papers.

I stamped the sentiment from Handmade By onto the bottom of the middle panel.

And here's the back stamped with one of the Handmade By stamps too!

TGF Sneak Peeks - Made Just for You

Hey everyone! Today is the sneak peek of a fabulous new Clear Stamp Set by The Greeting Farm. I love all of the stamps in this set! There are lots of different ways to stamp the back of your cards so that the recipient can save forever who made their creation.

Do you remember the sneak peek Miss Anya Garland card? Well I stamped the back of it here:

Cute huh? Now there are a few stamps that are adorable sentiments that you can use for your cards. Here is a card I made featuring the sentiment as the focal point:

I started the layers with some White Sheer Ruffled Edge Ribbon. Then I built up the Spellbinders Heart and Scalloped Heart Die cut layers. I bumped up the layers with Zots 3D dots. My favorites. We'll be back in a few days with a full release and recap of all the gorgeous stamp sets. I look forward to seeing you again then. :D

Hey everyone! Welcome back for another December Key Ingredients Blog Hop! Oh I love this month's KI kit with all the hearts and penguins!

I used the green and yellow cardstock to make the foundation for the card. Spellbinders Label One is perfectly fit for the top panel and the little penguins paper on the bottom.

I cut out the penguin and mailbox after coloring with Copics.

I'm a TGF Premiere Farmer!

Hey everyone! I have some ohhhhh so exciting news to share with you today that, well, might "shock and awe" some of you, as it did me! A few weeks ago, Jessica Diedrich, one of my fave friends and blog-babes (cute, eh?!) asked me to join the Premiere Farmers of The Greeting Farm. I was so flattered.....and of course, (after I asked her if she had the right Corinna and the right email address) said YES!!! The Greeting Farm is planning so many fabulous changes in the coming year, and the Design Teams are one the changes.

Here's a little bit about the Premiere Farmers:

"The TGF Premiere Farmers" is a small group selected by Jess and Marie to bring you a broad spectrum of samples during preview week and hopefully, a larger amount of ideas during that week than ever before! TGF is switching things up a bit for 2012 by separating our Farmers into two groups; the "TGF PREMIERE Farmers, who'll bring you an even more power-packed week of previews, and our SHOWCASE DT, which we had an open call for and you'll also be seeing those girls in action very soon! TGF is proud to be changing and growing with some of the best designers in blog land and we can't wait to get started!

And that's not all....the other Premier Farmer being introduced today is an amazing woman and wonderful friend of mine: Wendy Ramlakhan! Now, don't forget to leave me and Wendy some love today because Jessica Diedrich, the TGF Creative Coordinator and one of my all time favorite peeps, will be going through comments on both of our blogs and giving away a MISS ANYA GARLAND set to one lucky winner! ;)

That being said, let me introduce you to Miss Anya Garland! Actually, there are 3 Miss Anya stamps in this one set and are they ever the sweetest! Here is the first, Miss Anya with her adorable hand-cut heart banner.

I colored her with Copics and paper-pieced her little outfit and headband from the My Mind's Eye Love Me paper pad. The Granite Grey Vintage Seam-Binding triple-bow was so easy to make with the Bow-Easy.

I colored the heart banner with Copics to look like crayons, then cut it out and popped it up. Soooo cute!!

Next up is Miss Anya with a Love banner. Ohhhhh.....adorable!!!

Oh how I adore this little Miss Anya with her pretty lace peeking out from under her paper-pieced dress. I used Bubblegum Pleated Tulle and a 1" Gluber to make the flower to match.

Some adorable pearls in the corners and for the "o" and voila, she's perfect!

New Year's Party Hats and Favors!

Hey there! I'm so excited to share a fun paper crafting project with you today. December's Key Ingredients Kit is LOADED with fabulously fun papers and embellishments!

Dylan is having a New Year's Party for his scouting friends, so I decided that the December Ingredients Kit would be perfect to make some party favors.

The Party Hat
Print the PDF file onto any of the fabulous cardstock in the kit and then cut it out.

I stamped the Happy New Year a la carte image with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with the December KI Kit matching Copics. I used the crackle accents included in the kit on the clock and glass, and added Viva Opal Paper Pen on the bubbles.

To make the green top, wrap the green sparkle ribbon around 2 fingers and then tied it off.

Cut the ends of one side. (I know I cut both but do as I say, not as I do.)

Cut small slits into the ends of the ribbon and fray generously. Secure in the top of the hat when gluing closed.

The Noise Maker

Grab the empty cardboard roll from paper towels or toilet paper. Trim to 4.5".

Cut holes into the side of the cardboard approximately 1" apart.

Cover one end with wax paper and secure with a rubber band.

Trim one of the Bella Blvd papers from the kit on one side to 4.5". Decorate the outside with the paper and ribbons.

The Treat Holder
Grab another empty cardboard roll from paper towels or toilet paper. Trim to 3.5".

Wrap the cardboard on one end like a present.

Cut 1/4" slits in the paper at the other end down to the cardboard. Crinkle the paper. Decorate the outside with the included ribbon.

Fill the treat holder with sugary treats to be sure the kids are up for the ball drop. ;)

And there you have a complete set of party favors for up to 8 kids with just ONE TE Key Ingredients Kit!

So Grateful for You!

Hey there! I'm up over on the TSG blog today with a Stampbook Saturday page. What's that you ask? A stampbook page is a scrapbook page created using stamps and inspired by a card. Each week we create a new stampbook page to give you ideas on how to use your stamps in a new way and hopefully inspire you to catch up on those family photos you've been meaning to scrapbook.

Karen Giron is one of the classiest card designers around! She can take a few sheets of paper and CS and make the most beautiful cards. I decided to take inspiration from this awesome creation of hers:

I love the layout on this card and thought it would be perfect for the new photo that Riley sent me in front of his "office" in Afghanistan.

The Sentimental Thank You stamp set is so perfect to let him know how much I love him and appreciate all he does for us.

I used some burgundy, ivory and navy jute twine around the Maya Road Star Stick Pins. (The stick pins are coming to the RibbonCarousel.com store today!) I strung the jute twine down the side of the photo and attached 2 paper "dog tags" and wound it around the white punched circle making my own baker's twine.

I used the A-Z and 123 stamp set to mark the year. I truly am grateful that he is my husband and protector. And he's a bit of a ham if you really want to know. The guys and one poor girl in his office play pranks and practical jokes on each other daily. It helps them blow off some steam and lighten the "heaviness" of their daily tasks.

TSG132 Ho Ho Ho

Hey everyone! Hope your week went well, and weekend is shaping up to be a nice one. Mine was insanely busy, and the weekend hasn't been much better...BUT come Monday I'll be caught up and ready to sit back and sip a caramel macchiato! I must be the only person who's looking forward to Monday, huh?! lol

Here's the card I made on Sunday (of last week) for the TSG132 challenge and am just getting around to blogging. I LOVE this stamp set from last weekend's TSG release! It's called HoHoHo and is simply adorable. (It will be back in stock next week, so be sure to jump over to TSG to check it out.)

I used the tiniest little wiggly eyes for the reindeer. The snow was die cut and dry embossed, then Stickled for a little more fun. It's a bit hard to tell, but there are 3 distinct layers made using Pop Dots.

This picture shows it a bit better. A little bit of ribbon (I'll be adding to the Ribbon Carousel store today) and some bling and this holiday card is ready for mailing! Go get crafty so you can get in on TSG132...it ends today!

Oh Christmas Tree....

Hey everyone! I'm back with Part 2 of the Puffy Ornaments Project. If you missed the tutorial on using the amazing TSG dies and stamps, you can see it HERE. I picked up the Kaisercraft Tree last year...actually 4 of them, but who's counting.

I covered the tree with Mod-Podge and this year's Basic Grey Nordic Holiday paper that I picked up at Toadilly Scrappin'. It paired up perfectly with the Warmest Wishes felt ornaments.

The Sheer Ruffled Edge Ribbons are perfect and the Snowflakes Cut-out Ribbon is just like garland!

The edges I just dabbed with Tim Holtz's Distress Stain in Picket Fence. LOVE this stuff! And that's it! Remember TSG is having a 20% off sale this weekend so go get your dies and stamps before it ends!

The set includes hearts, stars, and snowflakes to create a one of a kind snowman or holiday tree. This set also includes six dies – so warm up your die cutting machine and let the baking begin. What set wouldn’t be complete without a few sentiments to add to your winter projects?

So I decided to do a 2 day project....today I am showing you how to make your own "puffies" and puffy ornaments with the stamps and dies in this set. Here's a little tutorial:

Gather your supplies:

Warmest Wishes Dies and Stamp set

Staz-On Ink

Benzie Bazaar Felt

Fabri-Tac

Polyfil

Scissors

(Copics and decorations optional)

Die cut the felt:

Stamp the felt with Staz On:

Optional: Color with Copics:

Your stamped felt is ready to stuff now:

Apply Fabri-Tac to the outside edges of both insides of your felt images:

Place a small amount of Poly-Fil (and Wired Colored String if you want them to be ornaments):

Pinch edges and hold for a second all the way around the felt. The edges will adhere quickly:

Trim away excess Poly-Fil:

Decorate and you're finished!

Oh my goodness do I LOVE this stamp set and die! The stamps are so easy to use after you cut your die pieces...they line up so easily! Of course, that's my favorite way to use stamps is with the matching die, so what a treat Melyssa and Jessica have brought to us! Now on to the goodies! I made tags for Dylan's Christmas presents.

I used the Basic Grey Nordic Holiday 6x6 pad and stamped the images in coordinating inks. I colored a bit with Copics (pic down at the bottom), but there are solid images that fit with the line art, so you can 2-step stamp if you want to!

The ribbon is all from the RibbonCarousel store: from left to right: Celery V Striped Twill, Light Blue Solid Colored Plaid, Celery Organic Cotton Twill, Navy Sheer Ruffled Edge and Red V Striped Twill.

I love these little holiday ribbon stamps that fit so easily on the World's Best Die! I cut the white cs and then stamped the images perfectly every time. Sew Cute KI Blog Hop

Good Morning everyone!! Today is a first for me in many ways....first, I totally forgot about the blog hop so I'm a few hours late. The second first is I slept for 8 hours STRAIGHT! I am so wide awake right now, I don't know what to do with myself!! Well let's get on to the blog hop shall we?!

Look at this month's kit! I already had this card made, because I am so in LOVE with all of the ingredients in this months Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients Kit which I must admit is one of my favorite kits EVAH!! Taylor always does a smashing job of including the best accessories with the cutest papers and plenty of cardstock to keep you crafting for hours!

I made this card a few days ago to match a set that I started for the BFTP blog hop. ;) First, I painted the chipboard buttons and let them dry as I assembled the pieces of the card. I cut the cardstock and DP, then layered the gorgeous satin ribbon to match the Die Cut card.

After the buttons were dry, I layered Stickles over the top of them. The button in the upper right I used Liquid Pearls on to capture that "old school" button look. So adorable! I sewed them to the card with some twine and added the Die cut with "Sew Cute" tag to the card. Quick and cute I tell ya!!

Hey everyone! Yes, I am still a blogger. I know, you were a little concerned from the extreme absense, but I'm back and ready to learn how to craft all over again! ;)

I'm so excited to be playing along with the TE Blast from the Past Blog Hop today. I am so "thankful" for the TE Key Ingredients Kit this month, that I used lots of the ingredients to make today's cards.

Here's a peek at this month's kit (You can subscribe HERE.) Now on to my cards....

First I started out with the adorable stamp set Cozy Cottages. I stamped and colored the house with Copics and added flowers in the flower box using the fabulous Liquid Pearls that I was introduced to by TE Baker's Dozen Danielle Lounds. I used the Whimsy Tree die to cut the Key Ingredients Homemade 6 Bean Soup collection of patterned papers by Jillibean Soup.

To create a little background, I sketched in some grass with the copics and used the Cloud Border Die with my air compressor to create a cut sky. I love the die cuts that are enclosed in the kit and used the pink polka dot scalloped circle to frame the scene.I finished off the card with the gorgeous ribbon in the kit and stamped the sentiment on the bottom of the card adding a little (lot, ok I got carried away) liquid pearls.

The next card is quite simple, but pretty and easy to make. I used the papers and the beginnings of Sankari's BFTP sketch.

I used the die cuts again and added some liquid pearls around the sentiment. I added the gorgeous ribbon from the kit and voila.

It's A Girl!

Hey everyone! Today is my crafty day, and as I was pulling out my TE stamps, I realized I hadn't posted this lovey yet! As most of you know, Taylor of Taylored Expressions, had a beautiful baby girl this past fall. Taylor and her husband chose Madelyn as the new baby's name, which is one of my favorites. So, using October's Key Ingredients Kit, I decided to make a gorgeous card for the new parents.

After embossing all of the elements from the Bringing Home Baby stamp set on the BACK of the pink cardstock from the kit, I fussy cut them out. I used 3D Zots (since they're clear) to elevate all of the pieces. (The button is from Friendship Blooms stamp set.) I stitched together the cardstock and DP for the outside and inside and assembled with the ribbon included in the October KI kit.

On the inside, I stamped the background images 2nd generation, and then added the sentiment with Memento London Fog. Such a cute card without much fuss. Sometimes, it's better to let the simplicity shine through, isn't it?!

RCC27 and TSG 128 Autumn Wreath

Hey everyone!! It has been a whirlwind 'round these parts with lots going on at the RibbonCarousel.com and on the home front. Today begins the RCC27 Challenge Anything Goes. So here goes anything! ;)

I am on a roll making projects with die cuts and today is no exception.

I bought these fabulous little grape vine wreaths at the Dollar Store. I die cut a ton of felt and a piece of vellum for the sentiment using the fabulous leaf dies from PTI.

Then I stamped the sentiment in StazOn Brown on the vellum and stitched some veins on the felt leaves with my Janome Sew Mini.

I wrapped this beautiful 1.5" Sweet Pea Velvet/Crochet Ribbon around the wreath. Break out the hot glue gun....and glue away.

Voila....instant Autumn decor!

I wrapped the sentiment from the new TSG Autumn stamp set with the new Chocolate Brown Jute/Twine to qualify for the TSG 128 challenge Au Naturel and added some more pine cones from outside. I really love this little wreath!

TSG No Peeking Blog Hop Challenge!

Here's the First 4 days of a cute Advent Calendar! This is such an adorable stamp set, and I love that the numbers can be used for birthdays or regular calendars too!

I've got a fabulous project for you today! I decided to make an advent calendar and it's really fun. I'll be back tomorrow with details on how to make the calendar, but let's just enjoy looking at the finished product today!

Using lots of dies I have hanging around, I cut out a calendar template and some gift card envelopes. I decorated each, stamped and colored the numbers and images from the new No Peeking stamp set. I love this set! Look at that adorable wreath! I used Dark Pink Vintage Seam Binding and lots of bling.

I love these little presents and the numbers alternate with dots and stripes making them perfect for monthly, yearly and birthday calendars too!

Torico's images are adorable and perfect for any child to stamp and color too! I love this Turquoise V-Striped Twill with this paper...and the RED and GREEN twill look AMAZING with the Holiday papers that are out!

And look at that cute little snowman! I wrapped the envelope with Aqua Baker's Twine.

Now all you have to do is take the envelope off each page and open it up for a treat! You can fill them with gift cards, notes or candy!

And fabulously fun and easy to make with a few dies and the fabulous stamp set!

Here's Day 1-4 together. I'm so excited about how adorable these are turning out that I've already cut all the pieces for a countdown calendar for Riley. I'll be sharing ALL of the pages each day in December!

OK, so there's an adorable rotund chef in this stamp set, but since I haven't been able to do much Halloween creating, I thought I'd make a Halloween party invitation.

I broke out these gorgeous Pink Paislee Halloween DP, using 6 different patterns (a personal record I think).

I stamped and cut out the silverware, plate, napkin. Then I used the TSG Spider Web Die to accent the card panel and with the leftover piece, I wrapped it around the napkin, accenting with these cute gem spiders from Michael's.

I added a couple more gem spiders, because they are soooooo adorable!
