That might inspire me to pick it up and finish it off. I mean, the game is beautiful, the story is interesting, and there are aspects of the combat system that I think are cool, I just have a hard time getting into it now. I did enjoy what I played of Fallout 3, but I managed to get myself stuck between a rock, a hard place, and a giant mutant with explosives. SquEnix seems to be focusing on the "pretty" moreso than the "fulfilling" when it comes to their games. I realize they've been somewhat of a "bar-raiser" when it comes to graphics.. but they used to be when it came to story lines, too. I fondly remember Chrono Trigger, FF7, Xenogears... Sigh. Also, did you happen to notice that SE released a press release apologizing for FF14? They replaced the lead people in the game to hopefully make it better.
