Hocico in Panama – Friday the 13th (May 13, 2016)

While I’ve had to worry about a lot of things as of late I’m glad that the period of worrying and suffering is finally over. Right now the most I have to worry about is finishing the Hocico interview with Racso, and editing Hocico concert photo/videos. Which is something I’m pretty happy to be worried about as seeing Hocico was a life long dream of mine as it also was a life changing experience. I only ever wanted to see them live since I was 15 years old and finally got the chance to see them on May 13, 2016. The day I went to the concert I was feeling dishelved, dizzy, and weak I had barely eaten a thing but I knew I had/wanted to go so I willed myself to do so. The happiness and excitement to finally see Hocico play live and eventually meet them kept my blood pumping. So along with my dear friend Cristian and my Husband we went to the Hocico concert @ Hangar 18. It is rare to have such a prestigious band with such an astounding and lengthy music career visit my home country of Panama, it was definitely fate that brought them here.

Even though I was really nervous and didn’t know most of the people at the club I dared to do what I wanted to do so with my futuristic purple/teal haircut I hit the dance floor along with my new combat boots and water bottle in hand and I rocked the shit out of that dance floor. First up was Dj Rotceh Naibaf Nairud which had an awesome Industrial/Harsh Electro set I moved my body to every beat all by myself on that dance floor later on the other guests wanted to join in with me and even asked me how I learned to dance as such. Which in turn I replied – “You just move your body to the beat. Let the music guide you.” Right then and there is when I knew what I really wanted to do with my life. At that moment I knew that I wanted to become a Harsh Electro/Industrial/EBM dance instructor (An Instructograph so to speak, no pun intended). Why did this never occur to me before? As dancing to Harsh Electro is one of my favorite things to do in life. I guess it doesn’t matter anymore because I finally know what I really want to do.

Sure I still want to sing in my own band (Metal/Harsh Electro) but I first want to perfect my dance technique and also show other Panamanian Goth/Electroheads how to dance. & I know in my heart that I will have a good response as I am a very positive person and firmly believe that I was sent to this world to fulfill a mission. In turn this will help spread the love for Harsh Electro/Industrial/EBM in my home Country so that many more bands will come.

I also have a plan to get an [Industrialcize] Youtube channel up as soon as I have the proper gear as our current gaming rig is not Youtube apt.

I’ve been really slow at updating anything I have online. This should have been posted over a month ago but with the new job I really have had no time. These pictures are from a Cow Convention thing I went to with my Mom. For those of you that don’t know my family has a Farm & my mom is doing Cattle Farming. She asked me to go with her to the Convention and I’m glad that I did because I had a lot of fun. I got to snap some great photos & ate delicious food. My Mom specifies in Senepol cattle farming.

My friend Mary had given me a bunch of Halloween confetti & at first I had no idea what to do with it besides use it for scrapbooking purposes or just to gaze at it’s magnificence. My Mom had given me 2 empty glass candle jars recently so I thought that the confetti would look good in the jars & so this Samhain photography project was born. The pictures didn’t come out that good as my kitchen has very horrible lighting & I’m aware that they weren’t taken at the best angles but I’m still happy with the results.
