Imagination Movers ‘For Those About to Jump’

If you have a preschooler that is near and dear to you then you know all about Children’s Television. Some shows are painful to endure but others you actually find yourself singing along with.

Playhouse Disney, the morning block for your preschooler has been anchored for the last year or so but the “Imagination Movers.” These 4 New Orleans Natives, Rich Collins, Scott Durbin, Dave Poche, and Scott “Smitty” Smith are energetic, playful and encourage kids to not only “Jump around” but use their Imagination to help figure things out! Their first release “Juice Box Heroes” (Wink Wink to Gym Class Heroes) was a huge success in 2008 and received National recognition includes a Parenting Magazine “Parenting Pick,” and Common Sense Media recently recognized the Imagination Movers among the Best TV of 2008, citing the quartet’s “addictive sense of humor and quest for fun.”

NASCAR Drive Matt Kensenth welcomes baby girl!

NASCAR Driver Matt Kensenth and his wife Katie have welcomed a baby girl to their family!

Kaylin Nicola Kenseth was born on July 6th in North Carolina. According to Matt’s website, “Mom and baby are doing fine.”

Matt also has a 16-year old son, Ross from a previous relationship. He and Katie have been married for 8 years.

Lebron James gets Dunked On

During LeBron James Skills Academy in Akron, Ohio, reportedly Sophomore Basketball player at Xavier University, Jordan Crawford, REPORTEDLY dunked on The King.

Two cameras were rolling, one freelance photographer, Ryan Miller, who was working at the camp that day, told CBSSports.com:

“LeBron called [Nike Basketball Senior Director Lynn Merritt] over and told him something,” Miller said. “That’s how I knew his name was Lynn. LeBron said, ‘Hey, Lynn. Come here.’

After that conversation, Ryan’s tape was confiscated.

Why in the world would LeBron and Nike make such a big deal about this? Now the internet is exploding with people looking for the video and buzzing about LeBron.

Emma Watson Wardrobe Malfunction

It was a rough night for Harry Potter starlet Emma Watson. Although her 70’s vintage gown looked lovely, it gave her trouble from the moment she stepped out into the storm.

Due to the light-weight material and a thigh high slit, Emma flashed her undies for the whole world to see! Then later, on the way to the after-party, Emma nearly lost her top!

I say, oh well. The dress was beautiful!

Craig Ferguson speaks on Michael Jackson

Late night talk-show host Craig Ferguson shared touching words about Michael Jackson during his opening monologue.

“I am not going to pretend like everyone else in the media that I never made jokes about Michael Jackson on this show. I did. I did make jokes about Michael Jackson on this show that’s because he was an icon and I am an iconoclast. It is my job. When I make fun of a celebrity it is nothing personal and I would like to say tonight to the millions of people all over the world…who don’t watch this show, to the fans and to the friends and of course to the family of Michael Jackson, our sympathies are with you tonight.”

Well said, Craig!

Lindsay Lohan turned down ‘The Hangover’

Troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan missed her opportunity to star in one of summer’s hit films, when she turned down a role in ‘The Hangover‘.

According to The NY Post’s Page Six Column, Linds decided to pass on the role of the stripper Jade because she didn’t see thought the screenplay “had no potential”.

“Lindsay said she didn’t like the script,” says a source close to the trouble-prone star.

Jade was eventually given to Almost Famous star, Heather Graham.

Nicole Bobek Drug Bust

Former US Figure Skating Champion, Nicole Bobek was arraigned Monday in a New Jersey court.

The Hudson County Prosecutor argued that Nicole was involved in a Drug ring that was actively trying to distribute methamphetamines. “She played a significant role in this operation. She was actively involved in the upper echelon of this ring” said Edward DeFazio.

Nicole entered a Not Guilty plea and was held on $200,000 bail. If convicted Nicole could face up to 10 years in prison.

For a refresher, Nicole was the 1995 US Women’s Champion.

Paris Jackson bids her father farewell

At the end of the moving Memorial to Michael Jackson, his 11 year ol daughter Paris Michael Katherine, was able to make a brief statement. Her Aunt Janet was standing there by her side.
