I had some technical difficulties posting ealier, but I wasn't moved because I was truly dissapointed in the BET award this year. But due to the overwhelming responses I got in my email, I decided to go ahead and post some highlights (if you can call them that) of the show.

Aside from the blatent Negrodom of the show, the fact that BET had a whole award ceremony put together and then tried to change it at the last minute proved to be a disaster. I can say with confidence that this was the worst BET awards I have ever seen. Im sad Michael has passed but even sadder that his death turned the BET awards into a damn circus. The concesus has been that they should have left the show AS IS and did a small tribute to him at the end. Do better BET....

According to several sources Pop star Michael Jackson was pronounced dead by doctors at UCLA Medical Center this afternoon after arriving at a hospital in a deep coma following a heart attack.

Sources say the Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a call at Jackson's home around 12:26 p.m. He was not breathing when they arrived. The paramedics performed CPR and took him to Medical Center, which is only a few minutes away from Jackon's rened BelAir home. Jackson's family began arriving at his bedside shortly after his arrival and where with him when he was pronouned dead.
