The book has a softcover and is staple stitched. Dimensions: 7×10 inches, 36 pages in full color.

Cost: $20 (CAN) plus shipping, with $8 from the sale of each book going to the fundraiser.

Because ordering the book online will add shipping cost to the total, I will sign your copy and draw a little sketch in the inside cover as a bonus.

I am also selling some of the original art from the book. The artwork is actually half a page of one of the original comic pages. The dimensions of the strips are 13×5 inches.

Cost : $40(CAN) per strip plus shipping, with the FULL $40 going to the fundraiser.

Here are the available strips you can choose from. First come, first serve. Only the first two stories were hand drawn on paper, the other stories were drawn digitally. So these are unique.

#1 to #3 are in pencils only. The others are pencils and inks.

Well this is it. 26 pages finished!!!
When I started this fundraiser, my goal was to raise $1,200 to help two Haitians go to high school for a year. Thanks to everyone who has donated so far, as I’m writing this, the amount raised stands at $924.55. We are short $275 … If you liked ‘Starthrower in Haiti’ and would like to help a second student go to high school, please DONATE what you can.
The fundraiser will stay active for as long as people stop by to read the stories. Who knows, maybe we will raise enough for a third person over the next few months.
As for me, I will be working on a French and Creole version of the stories. I am also planning a comic book based on my visit to Haiti in February, so for those of you who want to know when it will be available, please keep your e-mail subscription active.

Production note: For storytelling purposes, I combined two events here. The first time Auguste when to the foundation, Jacques told him to come back during the summer, because Sharon was in Canada at that time. So Auguste met Sharon on his second visit…
