As poker queen Beth Shak prepares for the WPT tournament in Las Vegas next week, it’ll all be documented!  Unfortunately for now, it’s only for Germany.

A camera crew from the largest German television station will be following Beth as she works, and plays in  Las Vegas for an upcoming documentary.

Shak will be participating in the WPT Championship Poker Tournament at the Bellagio that runs from April 18th- 24th and is a $25,000 no limit hold em tournament.

A source close to the tournament even tells us that Shak’s poker nemesis Annie Duke will even be playing in this one, so thankfully it will all be documented when the action is going down!

Shak is planning to arrive to Vegas early next week where she will get some rest and relaxation, as well as a chance to enjoy Las Vegas before it becomes all work and no some play.

In an extra sad twist to the Corey Haim story, it turns out the troubled actor was broke at his time of passing, and his family is having trouble getting money together for a proper funeral.

Long time Haim pal Corey Feldman told Larry King this week that Haim was very broke, and that he filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 1997, listing debts for medical expenses and more than $200,000 in state and federal taxes.  Feldman said at the time of death Haim was living in a month-to-month leased apartment in Los Angeles with his cancer-stricken mother.

Haim’s family reached out to his fans on his official website with the following message today;

“Due to the unexpected expenses of transporting his body to Canada for final resting, a fund has been set up to help his family.”

They listed an address to send money to, as well as Paypal instructions.

Haim died earlier this week at the age of 38 from what results are showing to be an enlarged heart.

Yesterday we mentioned that Heidi Montag was quoted saying she had been cast in a comedy, but we didn’t think it was for real!

Well now it’s been confirmed that Montag has landed herself a small cameo role in the upcoming Jennifer Aniston / Adam Sandler flick, Just Go With It.

She’s been tweeting her excitement; “It’s a new day, a new beginning…memorizing my script for the feature comedy movie I am filming all next week.”

You hear that academy?  Put her name on the Oscar ballots for 2011 already!

This will be Montag’s first shot at an acting career, which hopefully fairs better than her singing career, in which she sold just 668 albums during the first week.

Recently back from Berlin, we spotted Twilight’s Ashley Greene this afternoon leaving an acting class in Burbank, CA with her teacher Bill Howey.

Ashley has been traveling a lot recently, working on her latest film, Apparition, and then spending a few days in Italy for fashion week, but now it’s time for her to set focus on Twilight.

The trailer for Eclipse was released yesterday, and the movie is just over three short months away from it’s big release!  She better get in an Alice state of mind!

Ms. Greene will be making one quick appearance in Austin, TX this coming weekend for the South by Southwest film festival to promote her new 80’s flick, Skateland.

According to a new report, there’s mega turmoil going on back in Wernersville, PA over the fact that Kate Gosselin is in strict training for Dancing With the Stars.

But it’s not Jon Gosselin causing a stink over it to get his name back in the press, it’s the kids!

A source is claiming that 9-year-old twins Cara and Maddy, “seem depressed when mommy isn’t around” and two of the 5-year-old twin boys got in trouble at school for talking back to eachother!

Wait a minute… You mean two little girls are sad their mom is away  and two little boys are getting in trouble at school?  Seems regular if you ask me.  I wonder if they get depressed that their dad is NEVER there?

Hopefully Kate doesn’t buckle under the pressure and leave the show to come home to the kids.

Kate has had a dance studio built in the basement of her home in order to practice most of the week in Pennsylvania, but will likely be spending three to four days of the week in Los Angeles when the show goes live on March 22.

You can’t give a kid a cookie every time they cry, Kate!  Remember that.

It’s been something speculated for some time now, but it looks as if Katherine Heigl will not be returning to Grey’s Anatomy.

Here character’s exit sort of left it up in the air, but a source is reporting that a return is probably unlikely.

“The details, the time line of that — it’s all shades of gray.  The terms of her exit are still being sorted out” a source tells People Magazine.

Adding; “You can always have her return in a compelling way, and leave in an equally compelling way, because Shonda could certainly write that,” the source said. “It’s just not clear if she’ll come back onto the canvas this season, for a farewell arc, or if her storyline is already done.”

We feel like Heigl doesn’t play these games, and you all have probably seen the last of her on the show.

Reps for the ABC drama are declining to comment.

Even though you can catch her out at an LA nightclub any time she’s in town, Lindsay Lohan is making the claim that she stopped going out in Los Angeles, calling it scary.

Currently in London, she told reporters; “Out in L.A. places have closed that I would have gone to with friends and different people. It’s different now. I don’t go out in L.A. that much. It’s really scary there.”

It could be perhaps that the new LA joints don’t need or welcome the drama she brings around, and the  one name “Lindsay” can bring down the value of a nightclub.

She does still like to go out in London though, telling them “In London, it’s a bit easier. I’ve been walking here – which I don’t really get to do in L.A. You have to drive everywhere. The paparazzi get really aggressive when they’re chasing you, and it’s really scary. So I usually end up at home.”

Maybe she should sue the paparazzi for $100,000,000 for being really aggressive.

Lil Wayne has begun his year long prison sentence, and some new rules have had to bet set in place at New York’s Rikers Island penitentiary.

No autographs!

Inmates will not be allowed to ask the hip hop star for a signature, according to TMZ.

A representative for the prison tells them ; “Lil Wayne is not a celebrity in here.”

All their doing here is upping the value of a Lil Wayne autograph.  They will be the hottest things on new prison auction block, pBay.

Pack of cigs will get you a Lil Wayne sig to send to your nephew on the outside!

Don’t worry Kathy Ireland, Liz Taylor has your back!

Critics from the Oscars red carpet have made claims since Sunday’s ceremony that Ireland may have been either on drugs, drunk, and some even hinted that she looked pregnant.

Her behavior that night sort of shadowed that of a Paula Abdul on American Idol.

Ireland sort of laughed and shrugged it off, posting to her Twitter page; “(I) cannot please everyone… and frankly I wouldn’t ever want to. Don’t feel embarrassed for me. Had a blast and it was so much FUN! No meds or alcohol… just J.O.Y.! Never use drugs and that as a Mom is not a cool or funny suggestion (sic)… Some say I looked pregnant. LOL (laugh out loud)! Not true… others say I was drinking… Just excited to be involved. Grateful.”

But Elizabeth Taylor took it much more personally, Tweeting to defend her pals honor;  “I heard that some scum magazines, print and internet trashed Kathy Ireland on Oscar Red Carpet night. These rags said, to quote them, ‘She was either stoned or drunk and looked pregnant’ – what???? They must be the ones on drugs. I have never seen anyone epitomize glamour and grace and professionalism like she did.”  Adding, “I am boiling to the point of eruption at the injustice of those statements. When is someone going to stop the yellow press from lashing out at people who no more deserve it than the Dalai Lama!”

Oh no! The boiling point!

To defend Kathy Ireland here on Starzlife:  She didn’t look pregnant.  But no baby is all the more reason to drink and do drugs, right?
