The national costume contest is  the most colorful part of the Miss Universe pageant.

This year the parade of costumes will be co hosted by probably the most famous Miss USA title holders, pop culture icon Shanna Moakler.

After a record-breaking 13 nominations for the upcoming Critics Choice Awards,  Steven Speilberg’s film is getting the same attention from the Screen Actors Guild.

Lincoln will be facing off against Silver Linings Playbook at the 2013 SAG Awards this coming January, after each film picked up for nominations each.

Daniel Day-Lewis and Bradley Cooper will be face to face in the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor category, while their co-stars Tommy Lee Jones and Robert De Niro will be up against one another in the supporting actor category.

Jennifer Lawrence is up for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor, while Lincoln’s Sally Field is up for best supporting actress.

Though a sequel to the 1986 film Top Gun has been put on hold following director Tony Scott’s death, the original film will be heading back to theaters in 3D!

The original film helped launch Tom Cruise’s career while earning $353 million at the box office, and Paramount has announced that a digitally re-mastered version of the film will be hitting theaters in 3D this coming February.

Director Tony Scott helped to oversee the project before committing suicide by jumping to his death from a California bridge back in August.

Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence was named the ‘Most Desirable woman of 2012’ in a new poll from AskMen.

Lawrence emerged this year with her role of Katniss Everdeen in ‘The Hunger Games,’ so it should be no surprise that she made the list, or even took the top spot.

But the real surprise on the list is the fall of grace of Kim Kardashian.  A rocky 2012 that included a 72 day marriage dropped her from number 8 to number 98 on the list of the top 99 women.

Following Lawrence in the top five were  Mila Kunis, Kate Upton, Rihanna, and Emma Stone.

Charlie Sheen has seen his share of trouble in his day, but he’s left waiting for a thank you from Lindsay Lohan after the actor reportedly loaned her $100,000 to help pay off her debts.

Sheen is said to have given Lohan the loan after learning she owes more than $233,904 to the IRS.

Sheen and Lohan co-starred in Scary Movie 5, which is set for release next year,  and while Sheen has not confirmed the amount he loaned Lohan, he told Entertainment Tonight that they payment was money she was owed from a previous project.

However, Lohan has yet to reach out and thank the actor for the loan.  He explains, “She’s a very good and decent young lady that is just going through a lot. They owed her money, didn’t pay her, so I took care of it. My whole code’s about pay it forward.”

Sheen added, “I wish her the best. She just needs a little bit of time. People need to give her some time to get her s**t together.”

Steven Speilberg’s ‘Lincoln’ lead the charge in nominations for this year’s Critics Choice Movie Awards after landing a record breaking 13 nominations.

The film will have some stiff competition for the evening’s top prize, going up against Argo, Django Unchained, Les Miserables, Life of Pi, The Master, Silver Linings Playbook, and Zero Dark Thirty, but the 12 nominations backing the film in other categories are making it the early favorite.

The latest look at ‘The Lone Ranger’ gives fans a deeper look inside of Johnny Depp’s character of Tonto.

The film’s second trailer has been released, and shows Depp’s character telling Armie Hammer’s Lone Ranger that he’s a “Spirit Walker.”

Depp’s Tonto also tells the Ranger in the new spot: “There come a time when good man must wear mask.”

The singer was he subject of a photo posted to Instagram by her pal Melissa Forde over the weekend, in which she was decked out in nothing but a bra and a fur sipping wine from a wine glass.

Forde wrote with the photo; “Who needs fashion when there’s pu–y ?”

Rihanna took a different approach to her own social media this weekend, after her maybe-boyfriend Chris Brown  was seen out partying with ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran after his show in Paris. A reportedly pissed Rihana took to her own page to write, “Examine what you tolerate, goodbye muthaf—er.”

This is just days after Rihanna reportedly had the name “Breezy” tattooed onto her body.

Though as long as she’s posing like that, nobody probably cares what’s on her body.
