Texas Allied Petroleum was founded in November 2005 and is headquartered in Austin, Texas. Under the capable guidance of its present CEO Anthony Black, it has started drilling and extracting fossil fuels from geologically obscure sites in Kansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Wyoming and New Mexico besides Texas. The company survived the inevitable ups and downs in this industry, especially in the international market marked by the financial recession of 2008. The fact is that the decision of the company, which had started the exploration and production of natural gas despite the delicate situation of this industry, proves the courage of the investors.
Later, the business of oil exploration and extraction was proven as profitable. Texas Allied Petroleum has now concluded that an equal proportion of both the commodities in their portfolio will help them further. Also in early 2009, the company has also started joint ventures and commenced work with major international companies like Exxon and Newfield Exploration. They have been consistent so far, and they are currently busy in extracting over 500,000 cubic feet of natural gas every day. The company has a well-rounded three-pronged strategy of exploring and extracting from new fields, studying and reworking redundant oil wells and for using the most modern technology available today.
In February 2010, Texas Allied Petroleum successfully ended the Wilson-Todd project started a year back. This involved drilling 2200-feet well in this Kansas City site. They have at least 4 more wells in the Yegua Sand, Kansas City where they will conduct tests. They also have major implications in the project of Main-Pass 35, which is made of fifteen wells on the low offshore of Plaquemines Parish, South Louisiana. This ambitious project aims to deliver 150 barrels of oil in a span of 24 hours, which will further add to their daily amount extracted mentioned above. Further, restarting work on the Little Laramie and Herrick Fields in Wyoming, including the installment of 4 submersible pumps (prompting anticipation in increased output) and installing a large scale surface, the discharge system has resulted in a reduction of the operating costs. It has also successfully re-completed the Loeher #5 well in Goliad County, Texas. Initial results are very promising.
Texas Allied Petroleum boasts of highly respected and skilled executives that have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in the industry. Their interaction and collaborative attitude with the researchers, technical executives and support team are noteworthy. All employees are proven professionals in their line of work, but the company helps them keep abreast of the most recent technical innovations with constant training and workshops.
