Wow, I've had so much to do lately with school ending, I'm glad to be almost done for the summer though, I definitely plan on spending more time with my friends.
My weekend wasn't all that exciting, I worked all day Saturday and for the afternoon on Sunday. But I did get to go home last night for Mother's Day to see my mom for dinner. So that was definitely fun.
I haven't even really done a lot of summer shopping yet...but the weather is so crappy that there isn't really much of a point. I might get some stuff from VS though..I like this bathing suit and this one too. I also really like these shoes.
Ok, well I really need to finish some papers for school.

Wow I had a busy weekend. I just started working at an ice cream place and so far I really enjoy it! Anyways between working, spending time with my boyfriend and trying to write final papers, I am tired! At least school ends in about two weeks so that will be out of the way.
Plus my boyfriend's birthday is coming up, and I absolutely had no clue what to make him (as in what kind of cake) for it. Then my amazing mom came into the ice cream place I work at yesterday and suggested that we get him an ice cream cake! I have a feeling that I'll be helping make it...but that could be fun. At least I don't have to worry about going making and hiding a cake for him. Haha.
Well I've got homework to do, and then I have to head to my mom's to do tons of laundry. Fun, fun.

Ughh...I drove all the way to school this afternoon (ok its not that far, but gas is expensive!) just to find that my afternoon class was canceled. Great! Haha. Oh well, now I can work on my history paper that I have been putting off.
I ordered this really cool "Play Safe in the Sun" kit from Allure, its full of great products to protect against the sun, supposedly a $255 value for only $30 - awesome right? Especially since I am really cautious about the sun now that my mom had skin cancer a couple of years ago.
Ok, well time to stop procrastinating and at least work on my paper a little bit...

Wow, its like 70 out today! :D :D I love it!
I am though incredibly amused by the fact that even though the weather is amazing, I still saw like five people driving around the parking lot at school looking for closer spaces...umm duh its 70, freaking walk a little ways! Haha, ok so maybe I'm like the only person who purposely parked far away, but whatever.
So the Collective Soul concert was...interesting. It really seemed like most of the people who were there were there to drink. Which made it not as much fun because there were drunk people stumbling everywhere spilling their beer (yeah, I got beer spilled on me..) and then when we left, which was a bit early because it was too hard too see and I was freezing, some homeless guy spent about 10 minutes talking to us before asking for money. It was strange because then when my boyfriend tried to give him like a dollar and some change from his pocket, he was like "well I need five dollars for a sub at this place over there, its the only place!". Yeah freakin' right! I just thought that was odd. But I did actually really like the first opening band - The Whitest Light, they were pretty good.

Anyways happy AWESOME weather! :D

I had such a weird day. I think I am really starting to miss my best friends. It doesn't help that my boyfriend has been working a ton lately, so I've been a bit lonely. At least if I end up in the Paralegal program next year, I'll probably make some closer friends. I just feel like I can't have the same kinds of friendships as I did with my friends from high school...and I didn't even like high school.
I got my boyfriend a wallet from Fossil for Christmas and now I get e-mails from them. Today I got one about new purses...I never thought to look at Fossil for purses, but they have some cute and not too expensive ones. I like this one and this one too! They are both kind of big though.
Oh and his birthday is coming up. Not a clue what to get him. I thought about getting us an ice cream maker...but I don't know if I would have the patience to use it, I mean when I want ice cream, I want it now! Haha. But I'm sure I'll figure something out.

So its a new cell phone year again! Ok so I don't get to get a new one until like September [cause thats when I renew my plan] but I've already started looking...I'm like 99.999999...% sure that I'm going to save up and buy a Blackberry. I really like this one - the Blackberry Pearl. But I want it in red...Verizon better have it in red by September! Haha.
So apparently gas prices are supposed to get up to $4/gallon by summer..ughh! Not looking forward to that at all! Can't the government put a freakin' cap on gas prices or something??

Ok so I guess I haven't really been that busy compared to some people. But I have been studying really hard lately. Although there may not be much of a point because I might not go back to school in the fall. Originally I was thinking of going for the Paralegal program, but I'm not sure thats what I want to do. So instead I'm going to take a Pharmacy Tech certificate program, since I still think I want to do something that at least relates to healthcare...but I'm not sure yet. I'm a last minute decision kind of girl! Haha :D

I don't think I mentioned this before, but I am a rep for Mark, a company from Avon. They have really cute, fun, modern products and the new skincare line is coming out on April 29th...but since I'm a rep, I got to try it early - its GREAT! It is SO nice out today! Minus the rain...and the wind. It was really windy - my arms are kind of sore from driving all day and having to hold the wheel so tight, haha.

Anyways, I hate this snow thing. I mean what the hell? I guess its finally supposed to get warm next week...but who knows? I ordered some cute new [summery!] clothes the other day so it better warm up so I can actually wear them! I'm tired of wanting to wear sweats all the time cause its so cold! Haha.

I had an interesting day to say the least. Ok maybe this is a silly thing to find strange but I got complimented on my odd looking hair! My mom(/best friend;)) and I were out to lunch and these girls were like "Oh I love her hair color - thats the color I want!"...kind of as if I weren't there. I was very confused..haha!
So now I'm sitting here waiting for my boyfriend to get home...and eating half a bag of bunny M&M's. What can I say? I'm bored..and tired.

Today has just been one of those days. The kind of days where I definitely need a lot of ice cream. Some cake would be nice too, but all we have is ice cream and I don't feel like going out, haha. I dyed my hair today too. It is a dark auburn color..but it came out pretty red at the roots, that always happens though, I figure I just need to wash it a couple of times and it'll look better. Anyways I'm really excited for Easter Sunday - I love holidays where lots of candy is involved! Haha. Hmmm..I'm really not that addicted to sugar - I swear!:)

Yep - I have a history midterm tomorrow...greattt..not! Oh well, after this week is over, next week should be a lot better. And I'm really determined to have a great weekend. My boyfriend and I are going to try this smokehouse in the city area for dinner on Saturday night, which will be fun because supposedly they have bands playing too on the weekends. Sunday I'm finally going to get my hair cut and do some spring shopping! Now we just need the spring weather! Haha!
Anddd, I just found out that Collective Soul (I heart them!) is playing about an hour away in April - I'm definitely buying tickets for that one!:)

Whew, finally finished my sociology paper. Thank god. Now I'm definitely going to make a cake. We are going to try a french vanilla cake with white chocolate almond frosting - yum! :)
And my boyfriend is home cause there was no work for him today. So thats cool I guess. I mean I like it when he is home, usually, but it makes it harder for me to get things done - like my paper. I'm not sure if he is kind of mad at me anyways. See, my mom and I are very close and talk about everything...so yesterday we got to talking about something and somehow marriage came up and I was just saying again how I don't believe in marriage and that I don't ever want to get married. I think that's my choice and no one else's. Anyways, she disagrees and thinks I will change my mind. I don't remember how it came up but she accidentally said something about the conversation we had and I ended up somewhat having to explain because it sounded weird or something? I don't know. So anyways the point is, now he knows that I'm at least somewhat against marriage - ever.
Oh well. It's cake time. :D

Ugh grocery shopping

I hate grocery shopping. I mean I like buying stuff but I hate that its so expensive! For two people, we spend around $80 a week...doesn't that seem like a lot or is it just me? Ok so we didn't really need ice cream or chocolate silk coffee or cake mix, but that stuff makes me happy and easier to live with! :)
So I'm not really a big fan of those "Get-Paid-To" sites because I really think most of them are scams. But I have been using ThisSiteIsForReal.com, and I did get a check last month for about $50! Which helps out with the grocery spending ;) So I guess that is a good thing. But its definitely a lot harder being a full time college student and living on my own (well with my boyfriend) than I thought. It's hard to keep the fun going when we have more responsibilities. We're working on that though...

Ew it is so nasty out today. It's been snowing, raining, and sleeting since last night! I hate going from hardly any snow to tons again! I'm tired of the cold, I'm ready for spring - and for spring shopping! ;)
So basically my weekend is filled with homework, maybe a little grocery shopping...and not much else, haha. I would like to go out to dinner though - maybe to this cute looking smokehouse about 15 minutes away in the city.
Oh and I just became a ChaCha guide - I love it! It's great for someone like me - a college student with a completely random schedule - to make some extra cash! :)

So as I was browsing the net as usual, I came across PC Magazine's list of the Best Free Software! It's a great long list, full of some really awesome software - and it's all free!

Here's a few things i use (and like!):

OpenOffice - Like Microsoft Office but free (and in my opinion better!).

AVG Anti-virus (the free version) - Anti-virus software, I've been using it for years. Works great.

Zone Alarm Free - Zone Alarm (firewall), but free. I've been using this one for years as well.

BatteryStatus - Tells you all sorts of cool info about your laptop battery.

Yahoo! Widgets - Cool things for your desktop, I like the Post-it one and the TV guide one, although there are many awesome others.

YouConvertIt - A beta website that converts files, I think it can be useful.

Mint - A service that lets you add your online bank & credit card info and helps you keep track plus has money saving tips.

Firefox Add-ons - I don't use the ones listed, but there are tons of others.

Games - again, I don't play of the ones listed, but I think that Boomshine is addicting.
