are the next big thing that we’ll all be after in 2010. So, being a bit partial to a bit of fashion hosiery I decided to check them out. And got quite a massive shock when I found the price… A cool £199 for a pair of tights 
Needless to say, as nice as they are, I’ll probably be giving them a miss for a while!!!
I still have many of the issues which make Steph being around a bit awkward, but recently I have started to miss being Steph. I really can’t think when it was that a bit of makeup last touched my face, but I’m eager to have the opportunity to get the brushes out again. When that will be I really don’t know, but the desire is there again, which it really hasn’t been for an awful long time now.
So with this in mind I’ve decided to renew my domain and give Steph a stay of execution for a little while longer… And just to prove that Steph does still exist (slightly, and with no makeup )
I know it’s only brief, but hey 
I love having this blog, I love to blog (not that you’d know that if you look at the amount of posts this year!!!), I aslo love all the people I’ve got to know through having this blog, but and this is a really big but, I hate the fact that I can’t share this blog with 99% of the people I know. And there are a lot of people I know who’d be genuinely interested to know that I do in fact blog. There’d also be loads who wouldn’t even know what a blog is, but I’m not overly concerned with them 
I think if this was purely a ‘tranny’ site (which it did initially start out as) then there’d be no question of wanting to share this site with everyone, but as I mentioned when I gave this site a face-lift recently, the tranny bit is actually now quite a small part of this site; my last ‘tranny’ post was on 20th December 2008
And all this has been niggling away at me for ages now, as I’ve been weighing up the options…
I could completely remove any trannyness from this site… Which in effect would be like returning to the closet and hiding, which I so don’t want to do.
I could have a ‘boy’ blog (which I have already made)… But then what happens with this site? Do I then turn this site into a pure tranny zone with nothing else (I’d really rather not ).
And there lies my dilema. I want a blog that I can share with non tranny friends & family, I don’t really want to abandon this site and I definitely don’t want to lose friends from this site. I did initially think that I’d get the non-tranny site up and running and just post non-tranny stuff onto both sites and keep the tranny stuff for here, but then Becky’s PROBO ( ‘Potential Route Of Being Outed’) rule comes firmly into play… I have two websites with exactly the same blog posts on them (I’m guessing a Google search would pick them both up pretty close to each other), the site layouts are almost identical (I’m lazy!!!) only one has pictures of a rather blokey looking girl on it… Hey hang on a minute it’s the same person!!! The PROBO is frighteningly high (or low, I’m not sure how the scale goes???).
And that’s pretty much where I’m at…

I could easily compile a list of brands that I won’t touch even if you paid me, regardless of their many assets and plus points (I’m just not a Nokia kinda person, sorry!!!).
Again, the pure nosey side of me would love to see other people’s list of brands, but that could easily turn into one of those awful meme’s, which I hate, so I’ll leave it with mine for now… But I reckon I could already allocate a few brands to a few of my readers
He’s been up and down for days; Saturday he was throwing up, Monday his temperature was touching on 40°c Tuesday he was causing mayhem at home with a very stressed and tired mother and Wednesday his temperature had hit the roof again, so spent a very enjoyable 2 hours at the doctors with his bored father… The upshot being, my little monster has a chest infection. We left the surgery armed with a bottle of luminous yellow liquid that my son hates with a passion!!!
Today, I arranged to take the day off work, which in my self employed/teaching line of work is always far from easy… And my poorly little monster spent most of the day doing this…
I should be very grateful that he’s made such a remarkable recovery I guess… Needless to say, he’ll be back at nursery tomorrow!!!

Certain films, no matter how many times I’ve seen them or regardless of the time of day or night they may be on, will suck me in and keep me glued to the TV right up to the bitter end. Last night was a prime example…
It was gone 8.00 when I finally finished work (which is never good!!!), so by the time I’d arrived home, eaten, done a bit of computer work (the joys of being self employed!!!) and sipped a couple of glasses of red, I thought it was probably wise to get to bed at a sensible time for a change. When I went to turn the TV off ‘A Time to Kill’ had not long started; Samuel L. Jackson had just opened fire in the courtroom, killing the two men who’d raped his daughter and then general carnage followed. It is a truly great film, but I had no intention of watching it. I’d seen the film at least 3 or 4 times already, I knew exactly how it ended (which in tense courtroom films is often the big hook) and it was already late. I zapped the TV off and returned my half drunk bottle of red to the kitchen. Less than 5 minutes later I’d somehow returned to the sofa with a glass now full and the TV was back on. Sandra Bullock & Matthew McConaughey were hopelessly firting with each other, while over in the the bad boys camp, Kiefer Sutherland & Kevin Spacey were both putting on their best Paddington hard stares… I had one more failed attempt at switching the film off, before staggering to bed a little bleary eyed at just after one in the morning
If there is anyone out there who hasn’t seen this film, then I urge you to do so… But maybe you could watch ‘A time to kill’ at a sensible time of the day

Ok, Lost…
So seven episodes into Season 5 and I’m still of the opinion that this is probably one of, if not the best season so far (and I know that many, many people really hate this show ). I know the whole time-travel thing can seriously mess with the mind (as if the show wasn’t confusing enough!!!) and I know we’re now getting flash-forwards and flash-backs to contend with but I’m still hopelessly gripped…And as always, there are countless questions.
Is Ben good or evil? He certainly had his not so nice head on this week and was his motive for killing Locke purely to get the Eloise Hawking info? Did he also know that Locke would return to life once back on the island?
Is Charles Widmore really a nice guy after all? He did seem rather keen to help Locke, but if Widmore knows of the mysterious Eloise Hawking, who can whisk people back to the island, then why hasn’t he returned himself?
What happened to Aaron?
What happened to Ben?
What made Kate, Hurley & Sayid suddenly change their minds about returning to the island?
And more importantly, when have the Oceanic 6 returned to the island? I do have a theory on this one… When Locke fell down the well and zapped himself off the island, he left Sawyer, Juliet, Jin, Miles & Daniel well (no pun intended ) into early/Dharma island times and because of Jin’s appearance last week in Dharma uniform and because of Daniel’s appearance in the Orchid drilling scene in episode 1, I’m assuming that our remaining survivors somehow join the Dharma Initative… Maybe in a hope of changing things, even though apparently that’s imposible (oooh bloody time-travel!!!).
Oh yeah and then there’s the smoke monster, the temple, the ‘moving the island wheel’, Jack’s dad, Claire’s disappearance, the 3 toed statue and those darn Apollo bars to get answers for
And as I really hate those ‘I’m still here…’ blog posts, I’ll refrain from using those words I’ll simply say that I’ve been insanely busy with work, which as a self-employed arty farty bod is obviously hugely rewarding, but boy do I need some time off
I’m also hopelessly gripped with Season 5 of Lost and have had a ‘Lost…with’ blog post on the back burner for some time now, so watch this space.
