Lard Wants World Peace Website

I worked with Lard Ventures to create their dynamic website for the Lard Wants World Peace project. The site required that it was possible to add tips daily and updating blog posts. So we created this using a WordPress PHP website, creating the theme from scratch myself and designing the layouts for each page.

I worked on the initial design of the user interface and coding the site, since then I have been involved with updating the site as progress was made with the project. Recent additions included video content, a live web stream and the famous ‘Peace Wall’.

Brilliant People Web Design

Here’s a website I designed along with Two Shed Design and Brilliant People. I created the basic layout based around a narrative trail with the end goal of user sign up. We developed a concept based around climbing a ladder to success.

I then designed rough sketches of the entire layout, positioning graphic elements across the page using scamps and communicating with the lead designer.

I then designed all the vector images using Illustrator that were to be used within the website, sending separate compositions to the designer who would then ensure typographic and UI elements were correctly positioned around the illustrations. The developer then took the site and created a responsive micro-site that also does some jazzy scrolling movements with individual illustrations.

What’s this? An Award Winning Animation I went and done!

This is my award winning animation! The only one to date. It’s an animated machine encompassing all thing consumer. The film won the 2010 Apple Student award and was also screened at the Encounters Short Film Festival. In 2012 it was screened on The Great Wall of Oakland and more recently featured on the viral television show ‘Attack of the Show’. In 2012 Vimeo nominated it for it’s Staff Picks. Diamond Jubilee Illustration

Self initiated illustration piece of the Diamond Queen in her diamond bath. Created for a series of postcards covering cultures across the globe funny, offensive and sometimes nice. These postcards are a joke so shouldn’t be taken too seriously. This postcard is an original hand drawn artwork of the Queen in her diamond bath. It is then scanned and digitally coloured and designed. The illustration is currently available on a small postcard over on my Etsy Page in packs of five. Other postcards include Berlin, USA and the UK. As well as Diamond Jubilee Postcard illustrations created for the Jubilee in 2012.
