Here is the 10 alternatives to clickbank.

Even though Clickbank is probably the most popular there are lots more company’s out there that you can use.

Clickbank is very easy to get accepted and has an amazing selection of products to promote in lots of different niches.

In this post I just wanted to let you all know that there are many more alternatives for you to use.

Here is a list of my favorite 10 in no particular order……

Plimus
Plimus.com
• Plimus is very similar to ClickBank but with different offers
• It’s very easy to get accepted

Market Health
MarketHealth.com
• Focuses more on health/well-being based offers
• Contains mostly physical products
• It’s easy to get accepted

LinkShare
LinkShare.com
• Easy to get accepted
• Great Tracking
However Linkshare often has lower commission rates because merchants have to pay a lot for the use of their service and technology. Their payments also often take longer than other networks.

AsSeenOnPC
AsSeenOnPC.com
• Relatively easy to get accepted but they prefer if you can show an example website
• Great because they have a lot of physical product offerings with solid payouts, which is good for your newsletter sequence if you are looking for more products to promote in a particular list or on your website.

Commission Junction

CJ.com
• Easy to get accepted
• Commission Rates vary wildly – some are good, others are terrible
• Interface is a little tricky at first, but easy when you’ve got the hang of it
• Wide variety of offers – some are really well known
• Offers product feeds

ShareASale
ShareASale.com
• Good, ever-growing selection of offers
• Not as large as Commission Junction but, on average, the commissions are much better
• Relatively easy to join and to use

Neverblue
NeverBlueAds.com
• They prefer intermediate and advanced affiliates to apply here
• It would be better to set up and promote a ClickBank or other affiliate product first before applying here so you can show an example of your website(s)
• Make sure you mention you will be sending a lot of PPC traffic (if you will be) as this is a good selling point to get yourself accepted here
• Has great affiliate managers.

Epic Direct
EpicDirectNework.com
• Similar to Neverblueads insofar as they prefer intermediate and advanced affiliates.
• Run regular affiliate contests to spice things up
I haven’t used Epic Direct much myself yet but I hear good things about their affiliate managers from other affiliate friends of mine.

Affiliate.com
Affiliate.com
• Similar to NeverBlueAds insofar as they prefer intermediate and advanced affiliates
• Some good CPA offers here, but not a huge variety; that said, some affiliates are making a killing off their top few offers

Unique Leads
UniqueLeads.com
• Prefer intermediate and advanced affiliates
• Has some great performing offers and is an up and coming affiliate CPA network

There are hundreds more networks than the ones that I’ve listed above, but these are ones that either I know others are being hugely successful in, or I personally have had success with.

There are probably hundreds of forums and communities you can join where you can learn more about internet marketing. Many of these sites fail because the forum owners simply cannot attract enough people to keep the forums active and full of new people. There is a new social networking site known as the Million Dollar Network (MDN) that promises to become a big name in internet marketing circles.

The Million Dollar Network is a social networking site built on a script similar to Facebook, but it is built specifically for internet marketers. The site is adding hundreds of new members every day, and people are already making money there! Newbies and veterans alike are already making money on the site. It is completely free to join, and you can market yourself quickly there. The site is quickly becoming the one stop shop for internet marketers.

One of the first ways you can make money at the Million Dollar Network is through their in-house affiliate program. Members can advertise their products there, and then the members can setup an affiliate program to recruit affiliates for their products. You can get paid quickly because you don’t have to wait for a check to come in the mail. With the Million Dollar Network affiliate program, you are automatically paid into your Paypal account each time someone buys something from your list.

You might decide you want to do an ad-swap. This is very easy to do at the Million Dollar Network. You simply post an ad for a joint venture, and wait for the offers to come in!

Following news feeds at the Million Dollar Network can drive a lot of traffic to your site fast. It has a latest news feed just like Facebook. When you become a premium member there, you become friends with everyone on the network. Since there are thousands of members at the network already, your news feed links could quickly be read by thousands of other marketers. If you have an active Facebook profile, you can setup your news feeds at MDN to also show up on Facebook. This drives thousands of additional visitors to the MDN network every single day.

One of the most lucrative ways to make money through the Million Dollar network is through offering your own products and services for sale there. Unlike other internet marketing forums that are saturated with special offers all the time, the Million Dollar Network marketplace is still an untapped market. With hundreds of new people joining the network all the time, now is the best time to market a new product or service there.

The referral program is the easiest way to make money. Every new person that you refer to the network is one of your referrals. When your referrals post ads on the network, you will make money at least 50% commission on their advertising spending. Most people are still discovering the new site, so now is the best time to refer people there.

The Million Dollar Network is the new social network for internet marketers. Be sure to check it out today.

Click the link below to join today… it’s easy and fun

BILL GATES AND GM:

For all of us who feel only the deepest love and affection for the way computers have enhanced our lives, read on.
At a recent computer expo (COMDEX), Bill Gates reportedly compared the computer industry with the auto industry and stated,
‘If General Motors (GM) had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving £25 cars that got 1,000 miles to the gallon.’

In response to Bill ‘ s comments, General Motors issued a press release stating:

If GM had developed technology like Microsoft, we would all be driving cars with the following characteristics (and I just love this part):

1. For no reason whatsoever, your car would crash………Twice a day.

2.. Every time they repainted the lines in the road, you would have to buy a new car.

3… Occasionally your car would die on the freeway for no reason. You would have to pull to the side of the road, close all of the windows, shut off the car, restart it, and reopen the windows before you could continue. For some reason you would simply accept this.

4. Occasionally, executing a manoeuvre such as a left turn would cause your car to shut down and refuse to restart, in which case you would have to reinstall the engine.

5. Macintosh would make a car that was powered by the sun, was reliable, five times as fast and twice as easy to drive – but would run on only five percent of the roads.

6. The oil, water temperature, and alternator warning lights would all be replaced by a single ‘This Car Has Performed An Illegal Operation’ warning light.

I love the next one!!!

7. The airbag system would ask ‘Are you sure?’ before deploying.

8. Occasionally, for no reason whatsoever, your car would lock you out and refuse to let you in until you simultaneously lifted the door handle, turned the key and grabbed hold of the radio antenna.

9. Every time a new car was introduced car buyers would have to learn how to drive all over again because none of the controls would operate in the same manner as the old car.

10. You’d have to press the ‘Start’ button to turn the engine off.

PS – I’d like to add that when all else fails, you could call ‘customer service’ in some foreign country and be instructed in some foreign language how to fix your car yourself!!!!

Autoresponders And Spam

There are laws against sending spam. There are even laws that you must adhere to when you send out email that was requested.

No matter what type of email you are sending out, the chances are good that the anti-spam laws apply to you in some way.

In order to be in compliance with the anti-spam laws in various states in the US, each commercial email that you send must include your name or business name, your street address, city, state, zip code, and phone number.

You must also include instructions that will allow the recipient to remove themselves from your mailing list. If you fail to do any of this, you are essentially breaking the law in various states no matter what state or country you live in!

Protect yourself from spam complaints in any way that you can. Make sure that when a customer requests any type of information from you that an email is sent requesting confirmation before any other email is sent.

If someone is placing an order from you, include a check box on the order form, asking for permission to send them periodic emails.

Never use your autoresponder to send unsolicited commercial email!

What is an Autoresponder?

Autoresponders

An autoresponder can be defined as a program that sends out a single automatic reply in response to an email to a specific email address. Many of us have either received an autoresponder message or used one before. Examples are messages like: “I am on vacation” or “I received your email and will get back to you as soon as possible”

Most web hosts offer this type of single-reply autoresponder free in their email accounts. The problem with this type of autoresponder is that it is designed to send out only a simple one-message reply.

This is often not enough to maintain the continued contact or to deliver the content you want to offer your visitors. Besides, it also lacks some important features needed to do proper follow-ups. For example, it cannot add prospects to a subscriber list and then send them a series of personalized, follow-up messages.

The type of autorersponder we’re interested in is the one that you can send out follow up messages on an automated basis. It is designed to collect email addresses and then send out a series of pre-written messages via emails to the list of subscribers on predefined intervals.

A well-known “fact” that is often quoted by Internet Marketers states that it takes an average of seven (7) contacts to close a sale.

Finding The Right Autoresponder

Finding the right autoresponder can be a time consuming task as there are many choices available out there in the market, each with different features and price range. So it is important that you consider your budget and requirements when deciding on which autoresponder to buy.

There are several autoresponders out there, some will offer you a trial account for as little as $1. Some of the most popular ones are http://www.aweber.com, which is the one I personally use and in my opinion is the most reliable and efficient, then you have http://www.getresponce.com, http://www.icontact.com, http://www.infusionsoft.com and lots of other lesser well known companies.

Just remember if you don’t have an autoresponder you don’t have a business. So go out and get one NOW.

What Is Affiliate Marketing

A question I get asked a lot “What Is Affiliate Marketing”?

Affiliate Marketing is a method of promoting a product as an affiliate on their website or Blog. When someone buys the product as a result of the affiliate’s recommendation they get paid a commission which can be as much as 75%

Many companies like to use affiliate marketing because they do not incur any marketing expenses, that is all down to the Affiliate.

Two of the more well known companies that use affiliates programmes are E-Bay and Amazon.

We have now looked at what is Affiliate Marketing now let us look at some reasons as to why it is a good type of online business to set up.

No Development Costs

With an affiliate program, production costs are zero as the merchant has developed the product.

Do Not Need A Lot Of Money To Set Up

Normally it is free to join an affiliate program, and all the set up and shipping costs will be met by the merchant whose products you are selling.

Only costs involved are the setting up of the website, hosting and any advertising.

What Skills Do I Need?

All you will need is some basic computer skills, sending emails, copy and pasting and an Internet connection.

No Inventory To Take Care Of

The Merchant will take care of this.

Thousands Of Products To Choose From Whatever Your Niche

For an idea of just what kinds of products and services offer affiliate programs, check out http://www.clickbank.com or http://www.comissionJunction.com. Both of these sites are generally at the very top of most affiliate marketers’ lists.

Choices

There are thousands of products and services that you can choose from. So finding the right products for either a website you have already or one that you are planning to build is immense.

No Need To Have A Merchants Account

This can be a time consuming and costly expense for anyone setting up a business for the first time. Certainly, it is even more so where an online business is concerned.

However, as an affiliate, the merchant you are selling the product for will bear all costs, as well as handle the processing of all payments.

So you never have to worry about any potential charge backs, fraudulent purchases or losing your merchant account completely as an affiliate.

Plus, no longer will you be concerned with collecting and storing names and addresses of customers along with their credit card details, as the merchant who you are affiliated to does all this.

Or worry about dealing with awkward or nasty customers and their complaints. This is down to the merchant to deal with.

Make Money While You Sleep

Probably one of the best things about affiliate marketing is that you can make money while you sleep all on autopilot. You do the work once and you get paid all the time.

Another benefit to get into affiliate marketing is that if the product you choose isn’t making money, then you can just dump it. Remove any links to the product and then start promoting another instead.

If you work hard at affiliate marketing, then the potential to earn a good income is massive. It really depends on just how much you want it and how much effort you are willing to put in to the products you are trying to sell.

So what are you waiting for ?……
