In 1994 we saw the launch of the first Time Warp. Back then it was held at a location called "Walzmühle" in Ludwigshafen. Finding itself in the middle of an emerging techno movement in Germany, Time Warp had enormous appeal with the party people there, although the experiences back then didn´t by far come close to the one of today. But along with the European techno scene, Time Warp has steadily grown and the space at the Walzmühle was no longer sufficient to accommodate the Time Warp event. After being held at a few spots in-between, the Time Warp was held at the Maimarkthalle in Mannheim in 2000, where it is still at home today!

With only one ticket, festival - goers can access five stages which offer five different programs and atmospheres. A club situated at an altitude of 2'200 meters will be set on the terrace of the restaurant Cry d'Err on Saturday. After skiing hours, entertainment and free concerts are available to everyone in the center of the village of Crans.

LE CHAPITEAU/
Such as the name implies, the largest stage of the Festival is a big top tent near The Regent Convention Center. It hosts the main headliners.

LE RÉSERVOIR/
Great scene of the Festival on the ground floor of The Regent Convention Center, it offers a sophisticated and diverse program, full of musical discoveries. Every night offers a different style.

LA BARAKAZIK/
The Barakazik is located between the two main stages of the Festival and offers live programming in the early evening, then a selection of DJs until the early morning. There is also a bar and a sitting area. This scene is meant to be festive with various styles from around the world but it mainly introduces young Swiss talents. Concerts and DJs until 04:00.

CLUB/
Starting from midnight, le Réservoir turns into a huge nightclub! For the occasion a gigantic production, visual animations and incredible sound system are set to host the biggest electro, house and hip-hop DJs of the moment.

ROCK THE BLOCK/
People who go to summer festivals may have caught sight of this tent turned into a sham building! It also can be set up in the snow and provide a club for festival-goers including a stage with DJs! Every night the building will « Rock the Block » and make guests sweat to the sounds of electro.

BAR DES ARTISTES/
Privileged place where VIP, artists and Festival partners gather in a beautiful decor to dance or chill until the end of the night.

In addition to concert venues, the Festival also includes other places where festival-goers can drink, eat or relax quietly between shows.

Steve Lawler, a child of the acid house generation, has been busy with the beats long before genres were but a twinkle in clublandʼs eye. An electronic artist who defies generic boundaries, ever since his days organising the infamous motor way raves back in the early 90ʻs underneath the M42 motor way, in the UK. 

As an artist: his releases & remixes have been signed by some of the worlds most established recording labels; R&S Records, Systematic, Drumcode, Harthouse, Cocoon, MBF, OVUM, Sci+Tec, Tsuba, Souvenir, Rekids, Boxer Sport, Be As One, Monique, Kostbar, Soma, Skint and of course his own recording label VIVa MUSiC. 

As a Label Manager: Steveʼs label VIVa MUSiC (founded in 2006), has quickly earned a reputation for breaking new talent and has featured tracks by such artists as Reboot, Audiofly, Simon Baker, Jamie Jones, Davide Squillace, Luca Bacchetti, Bushwacka, Livio & Roby, Dragosh, Leon, Plasmik, Ripperton, Ilario Alicante, John Selway, Peace Division, Bearweasel, Tiefschwarz and of course Lawler himself, amongst many others and receives heavy patronage by many House & Techno luminaries. As for A&R, just ask artists like Simon Baker, Audiofly, Leon, Bearweasel and Livio & Roby and theyʼll tell you all about the support, encouragement and opportunities Lawler has given them. 

VIVa MUSiC works as a culmination of everything thatʼs gone before; from the putting on of the aforementioned illegal raves, to his residency at super club Cream back in the mid 90ʼs. Heʼs remixed high profile artists such as Jamelia, Dido and Justin Timberlake and worked with many of the worlds renowned dance imprints. As well as recording a track for the blockbuster horror movie by Ian Softly ʻThe Skeleton Keyʼ. Heʼs released some of the industryʼs most collectable mix series such as the ʻDark Drumsʼ, ʻLights Outʼ and, most recently, the ʻVIVaʼ series. Now on its 3rd release. The ʻVIVaʼ series has revealed Steveʼs widescreen vision better than any mix before with down tempo and deep house playing a big part in the beat blend. Steve held a triumphant residency for nine years at the Balearic club Space in Ibiza (a club he returned back to in 2008). His VIVa Nights residency where Steve played from doors open to door close at The End in London consistently sold out for its 7 years span and his residency at Londonʼs Home Club was one of the infamous venueʼs only success stories. 

Dynamic, driven and drastically obsessed with performing as well as he possibly can Steveʼs passion for House, Techno and Electronica is too strong for one simple generic association, and right now his message is louder than ever. 18 years deep and Steve Lawler isnʼt just at the top of his game, heʼs pushing the boundaries of what a DJ can do - both technically and creatively - as an artist and as a successful label businessman.

Last year's event was a very very memorable, happy experience for Extrema. 10.000 people smiling , dancing people   showed us how to share the love . Our guest came from the four corners of Norway . We also had loads of international guest who flew in from all over the world for this very special occasion .  We felt loads of love, people!  From sunrise to sunset and we thank you all.

Steve Lawler at Glastonbury Festival 2011, Glastonbury, Steve will be Djing at the "EAST DANCE" Arena (Sunday, June 26th. 2011).
East Dance is the juddering juggernaut that cruises its way through the cream of dance music's biggest and best DJs, VJs, artists and live acts. With room for 6,000 people, you can expect to find a lively party inside the Dance Village's flagship big top.
In many ways, Glastonbury is like loads of different festivals converging on the same gorgeous countryside for the weekend. Each area of the Festival has its own character, its own loyal fans and its own special attractions: so the Dance Village is as distinct from the Green Fields as the Circus & Theatre fields are from The Park.

Arkadia the newest ultralounge in Miami Beach, located in the infamous Fontainebleau hotel. 
Arkadia is named after the arcade that occupied the space during the Scarface era. The club actually feels like being inside of a pinball machine, with mirrored walls reflecting dashing lights that move to house-heavy beats. It plays off its vintage history with antique chairs and the occasional crystal chandelier. Paying homage to le Bleau's history, the entrance to the bathrooms is covered with sepia-tinted photos and newspaper clippings.


In comparison to neighboring LIV, a significant size and sound difference. Arkadia's capacity tops out 388, meaning no shoulder to shoulder sweat-swapping like you might at LIV. MMG plans to counterbalance LIV's diversity by focusing mostly on house and open format music. After looking at both schedules, it is likely that if a DJ is playing at LIV over the weekend, they will probably play at Arkadia at some point as well.

Arkadia will also be incorporating its adjacent, private pool into the lineup. The club is currently open Thursday to Sunday, and will launching Aloo! Tuesdays on November 9. The shindig will start poolside with a complimentary BBQ before moving indoors at midnight. Once the pool area picks up, MMG plans to operate Arkadian-style day parties on the weekends.

VIVa MUSiC works as a culmination of everything thatʼs gone before; from the putting on of the aforementioned illegal raves, to his residency at super club Cream back in the mid 90ʼs. Heʼs remixed high profile artists such as Jamelia, Dido and Justin Timberlake and worked with many of the worlds renowned dance imprints. As well as recording a track for the blockbuster horror movie by Ian Softly ʻThe Skeleton Keyʼ. Heʼs released some of the industryʼs most collectable mix series such as the ʻDark Drumsʼ, ʻLights Outʼ and, most recently, the ʻVIVaʼ series. Now on its 3rd release. The ʻVIVaʼ series has revealed Steveʼs widescreen vision better than any mix before with down tempo and deep house playing a big part in the beat blend. Steve held a triumphant residency for nine years at the Balearic club Space in Ibiza (a club he returned back to in 2008). His VIVa Nights residency where Steve played from doors open to door close at The End in London consistently sold out for its 7 years span and his residency at Londonʼs Home Club was one of the infamous venueʼs only success stories.
