We need a piece of software that is highly intuitive and simple to use. I’ve been using Harvest App for about a year now and I have to say it is ideal for freelancers or contractors looking to stay on budget and invoice clients accurately, while being prepared for tax season. You can even export all your data to Quickbooks, if you’re into that sorta thing.

I’ve used Harvest App with teams and now, I’m using it solo. The Business Plan helped us previously save time on invoicing and gathering project hours. It was as simple as running a automated report, converting the report into an invoice, and sending the bill to our clients! Harvest App is offering a 30 Free Trial so check it out and see it the product is right for you!

I’m no expert, but I’ve seen all my recently purchased stock rise substantially, some doubling. Even if you can only afford $500 - $1,000, it’s a great time to get into the market, understand the system, and see some growth.

It’s been frustrating ever since CompUSA left Reno. CompUSA was barely able to accommodate people with new release products, but at least they had something available in a case of an emergency. Computer parts in Reno could also be found at PC Club. However, they rarely carried anything you wanted and had to order the part from their warehouse. Basically, you could just purchase it off Newegg.com and cut the middleman.

Best Buy in Reno is not a computer parts store. All of the products are overpriced to the point that you could next day air anything from Newegg.com and still save money. What we need is a Fryes Electronics here in Reno, NV.

Partially because I shop at Wild Oats, which was absorbed by Whole Foods. All the products in Wold Oats has slowly transformed into Whole Food product lines and specialities (Whole Food tapioca, mmmm!).

When going to school in Portland, we had a Whole Foods Market right next door to us in the Pearl District. Everyday I would grab one of Whole Foods specialties from the buffet line: tofu scramble covered in cheddar cheese, complimented with some vegan biscuits and gravy. Add an orange juice and oh man, it’s a great way to start the day! Can’t wait, they open June 25th in what looks to be a killer new store with outdoor seating.

"How dare you Steve! You’ve ruined all that’s sacred between Mac and PC users."

Yes, it’s a sacrilegious maneuver as many zealots have said. However, the fact is I think Windows makes some good products, especially after using Mac OS Leopard; what a piece of… work.

So here’s the deal: I needed a reliable storage device to store my Mac and PC files, while creating a place to access them on the web. Additionally, I wanted to be able to download AND upload critical files easily and securely over the web. The solution was Windows Home Server. It’s turned out to be a great product for $120 and I was able to use some old PC parts to get the bad boy up and running. I purchased two 500GB hard drives and my server was complete.

Once installed, Microsoft gives you a free subdomain to their homeserver.com domain. With this account set up, you can easily log into your home server from any location to manage files. Slick!

However, my poor Mac sat anxiously awaiting to talk with WHS, and moreover, it wanted to backup it’s entire contents to the server. Through the straight-forward tutorial of multimedia-pcs.com, I was able to set up a back-up disk for Time Machine in minutes using iTimeMachine. Still awaiting Time Machine to start backing up. We’ll see what happens.
