I am excited to share the slideshow from Sara & Vance’s wedding from a few weeks ago. It was absolutely amazing!

From the moment I stepped out of my car and I was hit by the humid air and the smell of flowers, I knew this shoot would be a good one! Something about heat and flowers just makes me happy! Love it.

This gorgeous engagement shoot with Kellie and Dylan was beyond amazing, we had a great time exploring the Portland Rose Garden and tromping around finding new locations and trails! It was relaxed, fun and perfect! I could tell that this couple loved each other, understood each other and had fun together! I absolutely adore couples in love!!

I had an absolute blast taking photos of Regi, she is a gorgeous and super fun model in Eugene.

I adore working with models every once in a while, it allows for a bit more adventure and experimentation.

I cannot wait to work with her again!

These gorgeous embroidered newspapers by Lauren DiCioccio are absolutely stunning! I love how unique and carefully detailed they are.

I am a sucker for prints like this, I love the combination of quotes/sayings with photographs. So much fun and they usually have a touch of inspiration to give it an extra punch.

Similarly to above, allow me to show my love for graphic designers and creators of amazing and beautiful posters. I LOVE this collection of movie poster remakes, much better than the originals!

It’s been a while since I’ve done a Five Things Friday, here we go….

1.  Oh my god, look at this thing. This treat wins the internet and wins my heart. 
2. Oh heck yes. I can only dream that I get a shoot just like this. 
3. One of the most inspiration and wise celebrities ever is Amy Poehler, I adore her!  
4. Ever since I was young, Calvin and Hobbes has been my favorite comic in the entire universe. These photos are absolutely stunning, calming and gorgeous! 
5. Now if you need me, I will be editing, running around in the sunshine and watching Wes Anderson movies.

When you book your glamour session, the first thought is almost always “What do I wear?!”I want to help you decide what to buy and/or what to bring for your session.

1. The most important thing to keep in mind is to have a variety of outfit. If you bring multiple little black dresses you will have less to choose from for your prints, less distinct ‘looks’ and less fun. I highly recommend having very different styles and outfits for your choices.

2. Bring 3-5 changes of clothes. Each of these should be different from the other, different colors, different neck lines and different styles. Examples of what to wear would be a flirty dress, a colorful maxi, a neutral dress/outfit with fun sparkly accessories, a classy/dressed up outfit and something casual and fun with a pop of color.

3. Pop of color. Maybe you don’t feel like wearing hot pink pants or a dress, that’s just fine, instead wear more neutral clothing with a lovely pop of color. Colorful shoes, scarves, accessories are fantastic.

4. Look for fun, flowing material. A floor length dress with fabric you can twirl and throw around will almost always make your photographer smile ear to ear and give you photos you LOVE.

5. Accessorize. I mentioned this above, but it bears repeating. Bring all sorts of fun necklaces, pretty bracelets, even a floppy hat. Bring flowers for your hair, a scarf for your shoulders, your favorite jacket. The accessories make the shoot that much better and so much fun!

6. Shoes are fun and will be photographed if you love them, but the nature of glamour photography is such that shoes are rarely in the photographs. So don’t stress if you don’t have shoes for your outfit, we will shoot without!!

7. Lingerie can be one of your outfits, but make sure to inform your photographer so we can ensure a private and ideal studio set up for the more private photographs.

8. Pay attention to the weather, make sure at least one of your outfits fits with the current weather. So basically, if it’s pouring rain or snowing, make sure you aren’t planning on wearing a sun dress or shorts, it will just look silly.
