Friday Market continue to perform on bearish note and ended marginally in the red.the sensex and nifty slip for a third consecutive weeks.

The 30-share BSE index Sensex ended the session down by 61.74 points or 0.22 per cent at 28,236.39 and the 50-share NSE index Nifty ended down by 24.05 points or 0.28 per cent at 8,564.60.

Among BSE sectoral indices, oil & gas index was the star-performer and was up 1.97 per cent, followed by consumer durables 0.46 per cent and auto 0.07 per cent. On the other hand, power index fell the most by 1.47 per cent, followed by metal 0.92 per cent, banking 0.74 per cent and capital goods 0.49 per cent.

Today market Open in flat note. Sensex and nifty trading with bit gain today while the dollar held firm after strong service sector data and boosted Fed policy and fanned expectations of a US rate hike in September.

At 11:15 a.m., the 30-share BSE index Senex was trading down by 3.40 points at 28,219.68 and the 50-share NSE index Nifty was trading down by 0.65points at 8,567.30.

Among BSE sectoral indices, consumer durables index was the star-performer and was up 1.94 per cent, followed by healthcare 1.57 per cent, realty 0.87 per cent and capital goods 0.65 per cent. On the other hand, FMCG index fell the most by 0.94 per cent, followed by metal 0.23 per cent, and banking 0.08 per cent.

Volatility May continues in today early session in indian stock market closed on a positive. However in mid-session market gained some strength by IT and Energy stock built-up the massive selling.

The indices shrugged but maintain its outperformance as sensex registred 75.05 point or 0.28% close at 28298.13 level while nifty performing 20.70 point or 0.29% at 8588.65 level

The ITC and Coal India topped the selling list on Sensex putting pressure on the higher side. The stock down 1.5 percent followed by Reliance Industries, Wipro, Infosys, Wipro and Maruti with marginal losses.

However share of L&T, Tata Motors, SBI, Lupin, Dr Reddy's Labs, M&M and BHEL gained 1.5-2 percent followed by HDFC Bank, TCS and HDFC with 0.5-1 percent upside.

Today Market Ended brightly with benchmark indices pocketing smart gains.For most part of the day, the Sensex and Nifty traded on a firm note supported by gains in blue-chip stocks.

The benchmark BSE Sensex jumped over 140 points at the closing session and the Nifty touched high of 8,459.

Friday market ended with lower note After facing lots of struggle,their second consecutive day of fall.As ICICI Bank and Larsen and Toubro declined on caution ahead of their April-June results next week amid a weak earnings season so far.

The Sensex lost 258.53 points or 0.91 per cent to end at 28,112.31 while the NSE Nifty ended down 68.25 points or 0.79 per cent at 8,521.55.

Selling in blue-chips weighed down the index. ICICI Bank fell 3.6 per cent while Larsen and Toubro that lost 1.31 per cent, struggled as well.

Shares of Wipro Ltd, India's third-biggest software services exporter, fell about 3.6 per cent after the company reported its quarterly earnings on Thursday that were largely in-line with estimates.

Reliance Industries' stock was down 1.56 per cent. The company will announce quarterly results later in the day
