Since the #StokkeLondon store opened in Westfield London, it's fast becoming an intimate hub for the community with monthly events and workshops hosted by a range of exciting and inspiring experts.
They kicked things off with a hypnobirthing round-table led by celebrity birth coach and Yes Mum founder, Hollie de Cruz.
From positive language use, confident thoughts and ever-useful breathing techniques, Hollie inspired inner birthing powers in everyone in the room.
October's event will be an intimate affair hosted by The Happy Birth Club founder and journalist Beverley Turner. She will be talking about her no-nonsense approach to pregnancy, birth and the early weeks of parenthood. Covering everything from scans to stretchmarks, hypnobirthing to pain relief as well as some specific partner related advice.
Spaces are free but limited so you do need to register through Eventbrite as soon as possible.
Refreshments and Stokke goodie bags will be available for all attendees.

Superior base air ventilation, a breathable Sorona fibre mattress, integral hood canopy, internal storage pockets and a removable carry-handle all work seamlessly to make what has to be the ultimate carrycot?
Integrated Seat Footplate - There's no denying that the removable foot plate on previous Xplory seat could sometimes be fiddly. Turning the seat from parent to outward facing with style and panache could often seem like a dark art that may never be mastered.. And despite being one of the essential ergonomic design features, it was the easiest part to lose.
The newly integrated footrest designed in close collaboration with paediatric physiotherapists ensures that little legs get the support they need and that you can never accidentally leave it behind.
Hinged Bumper Bar - Now bound in your choice of soft black or brown leatherette, the new hinged bumper bar makes access to your little one quick and easy. It's easy to remove and doubles-up as the carrycot carry handle.

Extra Large Shopping Bag - Personally, I've never understood why people say that Xplory lacks in storage. The new V6 takes the storage criticism and rolls with it... responding with a vast, removable, wipe clean 32litre capacity shopping bag that will challenge even the most avid shoppers.
The second, probably most significant change to the storage is that it no longer co-ordinates with your fabrics. It's now only available in one colour - black.
New Premium Fabrics - The final addition comes in the form of two new Premium Brushed Fabrics. Premium Brushed Grey and Premium Brushed Lilac and they are really beautiful.
Athleisure - Two new colours Athleisure Pink and Athleisure Grey that co-ordinate with the newly launched Athleisue MyCarrier colurs. The Athleisure Xplory's aren't limited edition but they will onlty be available for a limited period.
Base Colours - The standard colour range remains (almost) unchanged with Black, Black Melange, Deep Blue, Grey Melange and Red. Lotus Pink replaces Purple (but it's not available in the UK).

Widely acknowledged as Design Icons in their own right, Tripp Trapp (and Sleepi) have been long-term residents of the London V&A Museum of Childhood, both displayed as important, historical design pieces in the permanent collection. Debuting over Easter weekend, Tripp Trapp also appears in the new and eagerly awaited exhibition: Century of the Child: Nordic Design for Children 1900 to Today.
Borrowing its title from the groundbreaking 1900 book, The Century of the Child, author Ellen Key foretold that during the 20th century, children would go from being 'seen and not heard' to the very heart of every parent's world. Her ideas on encouraging creativity, education and the rights of children run right through Nordic design and have shaped the content in this essential new exhibition.
Nordic designs are now found in homes and playgrounds across the UK. From Brio and Lego to Stokke's much loved Tripp Trapp chair. Nordic products are everywhere.
The far-reaching success of Nordic children's products can be attributed to their innovative and intuitive designs, where the needs of the child are central.
The exhibition explores:
Nordic Values - A look at the distinct and unifying influences that worked together to help forge progressive Nordic design.
Design for Living - With the advent of new, modern housing children were given their own dedicated spaces that were crying out to be filled with child-friendly designs. Designers responded with child-centric designs that sat seamlessly within the modern home.
Eco-Innovations – The synergic relationship between Nordic designers and the natural world is explored via a showcase of how innovative designs for children can be created using environmentally sustainable materials while being beautiful, practical and enduring through generations of use.
As an iconic, sustainably produced Nordic design, Tripp Trapp, for many people epitomises Scandinavian design. For a product that launched in 1972, its design and relevance to children and parents is as important now as it was over forty years ago.
The Century of the Child: Nordic Design for Children 1900 to Today runs until 2nd September 2018 at the V&A Museum of Childhood, Cambridge Heath Road, London E2 9PA (nearest tube is Bethnal Green). Admission is free.

We love Flexi Bath for it's range of uses. Obviously it's a great, space saving bath from newborn to around four years but it's also perfect for toy cleaning and storage and in the last couple of years it has become an absolute must when we are camping and festival going during the summer. Stokke Lovers paid a visit to the first day of The Baby Show yesterday, excited to see many of the new lines on display (mainly summer kits for the Xplory and style kits for the upgraded Scoot, more about those below) but what we hadn't expected was the big reveal of a whole new range: Stokke Home. Opinion is divided here at Stokke Lovers HQ but overall we love the (as expected from Stokke) design and the adaptability, growing with the child as always. Expected to launch in May 2015...a little bit too late for our new Stokke Lovers Baby, arriving 15 April, what do you think about Stokke Home?
Xplory Summer Kits and Style Kits
The Stokke stand had a number of the new kits on display but the one which really caught our eye was the new 'Grid'. Dressed with beige melange, it would equally complement black melange or even True Black (as our new Stokke Lovers Baby will have).
Stokke Scoot
We are Scoot lovers here and were very excited to see the 'Dots' range of kits for the upgraded Scoot. With the new aqua blue (which our new Stokke Lovers Baby has, perfect for spring days), the 'Soft Dots' adds a totally new dimension. Overall, though, the combination of the grey melange softtbag and parasol makes the Scoot a very welcome addition to the range, ideal for a Spring baby.
As always, Stokke at The Baby Show did not disappoint and left us wanting more...with the promise of Spring days, fresh colours and innovative style. Stokke in the Spring - we are ready for you!

For one reason and another - bad weather, parties and trips out in the car - this was the first weekend I could properly try out the new Stokke Scoot V2, so where better to go than to The Baby Show at Olympia where we would be surrounded by lots of other Scoots and Stokke Lovers generally.
Ellis slept for much of the way and was very comfy fully reclined. When he woke up at the show, I simply clipped the seat back to upright mode and that was that. Very simple and effortless. It's also quite a head turner...which the original Scoot was not. Having only ever had the Stokke Xplory previously, I was accustomed to the looks and 'rubber necking'. Pushing the Scoot, one felt insignificant and part of a sea of non-descript, similar strollers. The V2 does not suffer this plight. Whether it's the two tone textiles or the shape of the hood and visor, we certainly had many an admiring look this weekend. I have to say that we love it too. It's not hugely different from the original model but the minor adjustments to the handle and wheels are most welcome, making for a much smoother ride. The only negative is the size of it when folded (much bigger and more cumbersome than the original) and the weight (it certainly seems at least as heavy, if not heavier) but overall it's a perfect urban stroller for the City. I haven't yet tried the second level recline but I can imagine that would be an ideal position for a much younger child. The two tone textiles, whilst not to everyone's taste, are eye-catching and stylish and I love the overall look.
For a baby, the new addition of the Grey Melange Softbag would be ideal... I saw this at The Baby Show and was struck at how beautiful (and different to any of the other colours) it looked. Perhaps next on my wish list...
