Now Samsung plans to release a dual-core 2 GHz smartphone, which according to them will see the light in 2012. Samsung is known for developing fast running phones and it is speculated that the latest dual-core 2GHz smartphone in the works will theoretically be capable of speeds of 4GHz.

Is It Possible?

That is the big question on everyone’s lips as high-ranking Samsung officials confirm that it is more than just speculation that their latest innovation will have the same data processing capacity of regular PCs. Samsung released their statement just as the world’s first dual-core 1GHz phones, the LG Optimus 2X and the Motorola Atrix, became available.
