However, I tried the Multicast viewer (the company listed as the service provider for these new channels) and they start out fine - nice even picture, good resolution, etc.  However, in a few minutes the stream turned into snapshots and stayed that way.  Not a way I want to watch TV. In this article, &lt;a href="http://online.wsj.com/article/0,,SB110916524178761992-search,00.html?collection=wsjie%2F30day&amp;amp;vql_string=cablevision%3Cin%3E%28article%2Dbody%29"&gt;WSJ.com - Cablevision Reports Steep Loss&lt;/a&gt; we see Cablevision loosing alot of money on what is probably a big future for the media industry - satellite.  They are also gaining market share in high-speed internet, voice (telephone service) and video while Verizon is working to provide the same service over fiber-optic cable to the house.  They are just pulling the cable in many neighborhoods around my house! Who is going to win - it is anyone's bet but a good topic for debate!
