TV over the internet - not too successful test

TV is working to "invade" the web browser. However, I tried the Multicast viewer (the company listed as the service provider for these new channels) and they start out fine - nice even picture, good resolution, etc. However, in a few minutes the stream turned into snapshots and stayed that way. I have cablevision and am finding the fight between Verizon and Cablevision a good example of how telecom and Cable is merging in the market. In this article, WSJ.com - Cablevision Reports Steep Loss we see Cablevision loosing alot of money on what is probably a big future for the media industry - satellite. They are also gaining market share in high-speed internet, voice (telephone service) and video while Verizon is working to provide the same service over fiber-optic cable to the house. They are just pulling the cable in many neighborhoods around my house! Who is going to win - it is anyone's bet but a good topic for debate! What are your views?
