Ex-Blue singer Lee Ryan was arrested following an alleged assault on a taxi driver on New Year's Eve. The ex-Blue star was said to have been involved in the bust-up following a minor traffic accident while he was on his way to a party. The Sun reported that tempers flared following the crash and the taxi driver radioed his operator, who called police. Ryan was taken to a nearby police station for questioning. Three L.A. County Sheriff's Department employees gave special treatment to actor/director Mel Gibson during his DUI arrest last year. They employees failed to follow proper procedures during the actor's arrest and tried to withhold details of the arrest report. One received a two-day suspension, while the others received written warnings. "The violations resulted from the decision about when and how to release Mr. Gibson from custody," the OIR says.

Ali Larter and longtime boyfriend Hayes MacArthur, got engaged over the weekend, according to People mag. "It's true," a rep for the actress said. "They're thrilled." The marriage will be the first for both parties. No wedding date has been set. Larter has been anxiously awaiting a proposal from him. "I told my boyfriend after three weeks that I wanted to marry him and that we could do it tomorrow," Larter recently said. "I look forward to that time when I'm home with babies." Congrats.

Pete Doherty is to reveal all about his life with Kate Moss in a new TV documentary. The singer is reportedly negotiating a $100,000 deal with a British channel to make a programme about their relationship.
