Top Buzzer have been making a racket since 2009 after meeting in the unlikely setting of Jersey in the Channel Islands while band members were on tour with previous bands. In 2010 the band set up their own record label, Back2Forward Records, and released their debut release, The Hands Up EP (still available for free on the bands site now).

2011 saw Top Buzzer release and tour Europe in support of their debut album “Outside Is A World” which received great press from the likes of Kerrang, Rock Sound and Big Cheese. Their debut single “Remission” taken from the album even had plays on Kerrang and Q Radio – Not bad for an independent debut release by a DIY band.

What will the future hold for Top Buzzer?

Matt Muré is an English singer, guitarist and songwriter from London. His music has been likened to somewhere between that of heartfelt singer songwriter and angst filled garage band with songs journeying from personal stories of young heartache to anthemic chants of social antipathy.

In the past 12 months he has played over 40 live shows in some of London’s best venues including The Monarch, The Rhythm Factory and Proud Galleries, the highlight of which was landing the opening support slot for ex-Libertine Carl Barat at The Bowery.

Earlier this year he was ranked the highest scoring solo act in The Music League’s national competition with over 700 online votes where he took to the stage with a full backing band to a sold out crowd at The Hoxton Pony.

His song ‘Long Live The Clones’ was recently featured on the popular indie internet radio; ‘The Justin Wayne Show’.

Currently gigging throughout the greater london area and in preparations to record his debut EP alongside a promotional music video for independent release by digital distribution and a limited run physical CD.

The Chief Whips are a Leeds based Punk/Blues rock band formed in 2007. They are big proponents of the Punk/DIY ethos and have released 2 self produced albums which have brought them to the attention of the wider world. Debut effort ‘The Other Creek’ particularly, received positive reviews, but the band were unable to capitalize due to line up changes at the time. Founding member Steve Sanderson had previously been front man in 90′s band The Attic who had minor success with their ‘Off The Nest’ ep and acquired a support slot on a tour by Havana 3am, the band formed by Paul Simmonen after The Clash split up.

Jody McKenna Started playing and writing at 18 and soon had many songs under his belt. He then formed a duo named the Peasants and began to play the local circuit.

The duo disbanded and Jody took part in a project at the Warren Young peoples Centre called Hull Urban Collective where he met many friends who would help him push his music further.

Jody then went on to play a string of great supports and shows with the likes of Finley Quaye, Noah and The Whale, Magic Numbers, Jersey Budd, Cherbourg plus many more, creating a dedicated following around the city and now playing nationally.

Jody appeared on Channel Fours ‘Secret Millionaire’ programme in which himself and fellow musician Keith Hagger befriended successful businessman Martin Stamp; and through their dedication and honesty inspired him to donate £20,000 to the Warren Young Peoples Project.

A humble and honest poet, Jody McKenna delivers beautifully crafted acoustic music inspired by songwriters of all eras, from Dylan to Bright Eyes.

His Debut album ‘The North Wind’ is a collection of his early solo work that was recorded during his time spent in local studios with good friends who offer subtle musical embellishments which compliments these early songs.

The North Wind is an album full of innocence and integrity, which has opened Jody’s music to thousands of people since its CD release furthering Jody’s musical journey from his flat in Hull to now hosting sell out shows and winning over crowds at festivals such as Freedom, Beverley Folk Festival and Galtres with his new band.

For the last 8 years, Garage Punk ‘77 revivalists Flying Over (Bordeaux, Fr) have made their presence felt all over France and Europe with numerous tours and a hard work ethic.

Heavily influenced by their predecessors, and compared in Europe and USA to the Sex Pistols, Joan Jett, Runaways, Stitches, Kids, The Saints, or French bands Olivenstein, Starshooter, TV Killers, Flying Over have now established themselves with their own brand of garage punk 77.

Touring regularly since 2003 (France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, Holland, United Kingdom, Italy), the band are driven by the excellent feedback received from every country they visit with regular tours of Europe always listed in their gig list

With their last record ‘No One Here Gets Out Alive’, the 11 track album of solid garage punk and 2 songs in their native dialect of French (recorded and mixed by Michel Toledo – producer of the Soledad Brothers), 2011 was a good year for the band … 1500 copies sold out, with many sales at their 70 gigs in Europe.

The band have now gained valuable experience and know-how making themselves more visible and felt on the independent European scene and now have made the transition to across the Atlantic having positive feedback from the new audience gained via the internet in USA

UNICORN HUNTERS are Jaz (guitar, vocals), Deano (bass) and Oli (drums). They formed in Harworth near Doncaster, South Yorkshire in January 2011.

Rebel Control evolved from the now notorious reggae jams held by Andy Baron and Concrete Johnson in a derelict shop in West London spawning the album Jammin At Rebel H.Q. mixed by Mike Pelanconi (Lily Allen / Gregory Isaacs).
The band’s love and respect for reggae is still very much in evidence but the sound now also encompasses more current vibes along with elements of dancehall and hip hop.
Rebel Control are fast becoming festival favourites mashing up main stages throughout the UK and Europe, most recently playing in Poland and Montenegro and supporting acts ranging from Tinie Tempah to reggae legends Luciano and Mad professor.

Bad Answers is a punk/alternative band from Clarks Summit, PA. formed in the summer of 2010. Made up of three friends, James Barrett, Grayson Basalyga, and Jerry Connor who have been known one another since their middle school years. Our first release was in July 2010 and was the “Ashes E.P’ which can be downloaded and listened to on our pages, or you can get a copy from us at shows. We also released a new single entitled “Exit 81″ as well. We are currently working on recording a new EP and we hope to have it out in the next month or two. Bad Answers has performed with multiple national touring acts such as The Toasters, Mustard Plug,Flatfoot 56, and Phone Calls from Home.
