1. Go to Python.org.

2. Click on Download button.

3. Open download file.

4. Select ‘Add Python X.XX to PATH’.

5. Click on ‘Install Now’.

6. After successful completion you will see message like below.

Windows:

In windows generally Tomcat start with system, you can see it in task bar. If you want to start it manually, follow below steps.

1. Open command Prompt.
2. Go to TOCAT_HOME(It is tomcat installation location in my case it is C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 7.0)

Apache Tomcat is Application server from 'Apache software foundation', which is open source. It is used to run Java web applications. Current stable version is 8.5.11, click here to download.

Friendship Day is a day for celebrating friendship. The day has been celebrated in several southern South American countries for many years, particularly in Paraguay, where the first World Friendship Day - International Friendship Day was proposed in 1958.

Initially created by the greeting card industry, evidence from social networking sites shows a revival of interest in the holiday that may have grown with the spread of the Internet, particularly in India, Bangladesh, and Malaysia. Digital communication modes such as the Internet and mobile phones may be helping to popularize the custom, since greeting friends en masse is now easier than before. Those who promote the holiday in South Asia attribute the tradition of dedicating a day in honor of friends to have originated in the U.S. in 1935, but it actually dates from 1919. The exchange of Friendship Day gifts like flowers, cards and wrist bands is a popular tradition of this occasion.

Friendship Day celebrations occur on different dates in different countries. The first World Friendship Day was proposed for 30 July in 1958, by the World Friendship Crusade. On 27 April 2011 the General Assembly of the United Nations declared 30 July as official International Friendship Day. However, some countries, including India, celebrate Friendship Day on the first Sunday of August. In Oberlin, Ohio, Friendship Day is celebrated on 8 April each year.

History:

Friendship Day was originally promoted by Joyce Hall, the founder of Hallmark cards in 1930, intended to be 2 August and a day when people celebrated their friendships by sending cards. The second of August was chosen as the centre of the largest lull between holiday celebrations. Friendship Day was promoted by the greeting card National Association during the 1920s but met with consumer resistance - given that it was too obviously a commercial gimmick to promote greetings cards. By the 1940s the number of Friendship Day cards available in the US had dwindled and the holiday largely died out there. There is no evidence to date for its uptake in Europe; however, it has been kept alive and revitalised in Asia, where several countries have adopted it.

In honor of Friendship Day in 1998, Nane Annan, wife of UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, named Winnie the Pooh as the world's Ambassador of Friendship at the United Nations. The event was co-sponsored by the U.N. Department of Public Information and Disney Enterprises, and was co-hosted by Kathy Lee Gifford.

Some friends acknowledge each other with exchanges of gifts and cards on this day. Friendship bands are very popular in India, Nepal, Bangladesh and parts of South America.With the advent of social networking sites, Friendship Day is also being celebrated online.The commercialization of the Friendship Day celebrations has led to some dismissing it as a "marketing gimmick". But nowadays it is celebrated on the first Sunday of August rather than 30 July. However, on 27 July 2011 the 65th Session of the United Nations General Assembly declared 30 July as "International Day of Friendship".

The idea of a World Friendship Day was first proposed on 20 July 1958 by Dr. Ramon Artemio Bracho during a dinner with friends in Puerto Pinasco, a town on the River Paraguay about 200 miles north of Asuncion, Paraguay.

Out of this humble meeting of friends, the World Friendship Crusade was born. The World Friendship Crusade is a foundation that promotes friendship and fellowship among all human beings, regardless of race, color or religion. Since then, 30 July has been faithfully celebrated as Friendship Day in Paraguay every year and has also been adopted by several other countries.

The World Friendship Crusade has lobbied the United Nations for many years to recognise 30 July as World Friendship Day and finally on 20 May, General Assembly of the United Nations decided to designate 30 July as the International Day of Friendship; and to invite all Member States to observe the International Day of Friendship in accordance with the culture and customs of their local, national and regional communities, including through education and public awareness-raising activities.Is also known as Shru and Sanjya day.

Independence Day, observed annually on 15 August is a national holiday in India commemorating the nation's independence from the British Empire on 15 August 1947. India attained independence following an Independence Movement noted for largely nonviolent resistance and civil disobedience led by the Indian National Congress (INC). Independence coincided with the partition of India, in which the British Indian Empire was divided along religious lines into the Dominions of India and Pakistan; the partition was accompanied by violent riots and mass casualties, and the displacement of nearly 15 million people due to sectarian violence. On 15 August 1947, Jawaharlal Nehru, who had become the first Prime Minister of India that day, raised the Indian national flag above the Lahori Gate of the Red Fort in Delhi. On each subsequent Independence Day, the prime minister has raised the flag and given a speech.

The holiday is observed throughout India with flag-hoisting ceremonies, parades and cultural events. Indians celebrate the day by displaying the national flag on their attire, accessories and homes; by listening to patriotic songs, watching patriotic movies; and bonding with family and friends. Books and films feature the independence and partition in their narrative. There have been threats of terrorist attack on and around 15 August by separatist and militant organisations there are many leaders who brought freedom like Mahatma Gandhi , Jawaharlal Nehru , Sardar Vallabhai Patel , Subash Chandra Bose etc let thank them for giving us this freedom. The meaning of Independence is 'Not to depend on others.'

History

European traders had established outposts on the Indian subcontinent by the 17th century. Following the Rebellion of 1857, the Government of India Act 1858 led the British Crown to assume direct control of India. In the decades following, civic society gradually emerged across India, most notably the Indian National Congress Party, formed in 1885 The period after World War I was marked by British reforms such as the Montagu–Chelmsford Reforms, but it also witnessed the enactment of the repressive Rowlatt Act and calls for self-rule by Indian activists. The discontent of this period crystallized into nationwide non-violent movements of non-cooperation and civil disobedience, led by Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi

During the 1930s, reform was gradually legislated by the British; Congress won victories in the resulting elections.

To create a tar execute command in following format.

$ tar -cvf <file_name>.tar file1 file2 .....filen

We can add any type of file and any number of files including folder/directory to tar using this command.

Example: To add file1.txt and file2.txt to sample.tar execute following command.

$ tar -cvf sample.tar file1.txt file.txt folder

I know, may of you are facing issue while trying to install chromium browser in Linux system due to library issue.

Please fallow below procedure to achieve it.

1. In Terminal connect as sudo user.

$ su -

2. Go to /etc/yum.repos.d and get repos.

# cd /etc/yum.repos.d
# wget http://people.centos.org/hughesjr/chromium/6/chromium-el6.repo

3. Execute the following 'yum' command.

# yum install chromium

Now you can verify Chromium browser is installed.

Single Sign On(SSO) ask user to sign only once for multiple applications, it reduces number of sign on and remembering multiple passwords.

Assertion make possible to access/login appliacation/websites with out sharing password. For example in multiple sites you can see option to sign with either Facebook or Google account with out creating new account.

1. Select Start -> Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> Environment Variables -> System Variables -> CLASSPATH.
2. If the Classpath variable exists, prepend .;C:\programfiles\JDK1.7\bin to the beginning of the CLASSPATH varible.
3. If the CLASSPATH variable does not exist, select New. Type CLASSPATH for the variable name and .;C:\programfiles\JDK1.7\bin for the variable value.
4. Click OK three times.

Note: In all below steps $WT_HOME represents Webtier installation location(Generally /app/Oracle/products/Middleware/oracle_WT).

1. Go to $WT_HOME/instances/instance1/bin and execute below command.
$ ./opmnctl stopall

2. Take http.conf backup from $WT_HOME/instances/instance1/config/OHS/ohs1
$ cp httpd.conf httpd.conf.bck

3. Open http.conf and change port number to 80(Just after 'Listen').

4. Go to $WT_HOME/ohs/bin and execute below commands.
$ chown root .apachectl
$ chmod 6750 .apachectl

5. Go to $WT_HOME/instances/instance1/bin and execute below command.
$ ./opmnctl startall
