INTACH Palakkad Chapter. is organising Young INTACH Heritage Festival 2026 for school students. The district-wide festival brings together students from across Palakkad for a day of heritage, creativity, storytelling and friendly competition.

Supported by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and with the involvement of Kerala Kalamandalam, the festival provides students with an exciting opportunity to explore India's rich cultural heritage while developing their research, creative thinking, artistic and storytelling skills.

The event will also feature accomplished artists, performers, writers and heritage specialists who will interact with students as expert mentors, making the festival an enriching learning experience beyond the competitions.

The Birdspiracy AI Competition 2026 is a free national-level AI competition inviting students from Classes 9 to 12 to identify real-world problems and propose innovative solutions using artificial intelligence.

The competition encourages students to think creatively about how AI can address meaningful issues. No coding experience is required, and participants from any academic background can take part.

About the Birdspiracy AI Competition

Birdspiracy AI Competition 2026 is designed for school students who are interested in exploring the potential of artificial intelligence.

Participants need to identify a real problem, explain its impact, and develop a proposed AI-powered solution. The competition focuses not only on the use of AI but also on how clearly students can explain their idea, its feasibility and its potential limitations.

Students can participate individually or form teams of up to four members.

Eligibility

The competition is open to:

Students studying in Classes 9 to 12

Students from any school

Participants from any subject background

Teams of 1 to 4 students

Students from India as well as entrants from other countries

Students with or without coding experience

There is no entry fee.

A school can enter any number of teams, but each team can submit only one entry.

What Do Participants Have to Submit?

Each team must prepare a presentation consisting of:

4 to 6 content slides

Sources slide

The final presentation must be exported as a PDF and should not exceed 10 MB.

The complete PDF will therefore contain 6 to 8 pages.

The file should be named:

Content Slide Requirements

The 4 to 6 content slides should address the following areas:

1. The Issue – 10 Marks

Participants should identify a real-world problem that they can observe and describe.

The presentation should explain:

What the problem is

Who is affected by it

How large or significant the problem is

Evidence supporting the existence and impact of the problem

2. Solution and AI Impact – 20 Marks

Students should present their proposed solution and explain the role of AI.

The presentation should cover:

What the proposed solution is

What AI would do as part of the solution

What solutions already exist

How the proposed idea is different

What is required to make the solution work

Where the solution could fail or face limitations

How the solution could be built

3. Presentation – 10 Marks

The judges will also assess how effectively the presentation communicates the idea.

Students should make their slides clear, organised and convincing.

A sources slide is mandatory. An entry without a sources slide cannot score more than 5 marks for presentation.

Prizes

The Birdspiracy AI Competition 2026 has a total prize pool of ₹50,000, distributed among the top three teams.

The LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2026-27 offers financial assistance to meritorious students from economically weaker sections who are pursuing higher education in India. About LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship

CADD Centre Design and Innovation Challenge

Students interested in engineering, product design, automotive technology, aeronautics, mechatronics, and emerging mobility solutions can participate in the International Design Competition (IDC) 2026, organized by CADD Centre Group in partnership with Dassault Systèmes.

The competition is designed to give students hands-on exposure to modern design and engineering technologies while challenging them to develop solutions for emerging industry problems.

IDC 2026 focuses on four key aspects of future-ready talent: First Principles Thinking, Problem Prevention, Multi-Disciplinary Competence, and the use of advanced technologies such as AI and AR/VR/MR/XR.

About International Design Competition 2026

The International Design Competition 2026 provides students with an opportunity to learn and apply design, modelling, simulation, validation, and presentation skills through a multi-stage competitive format.

Participants will work with the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, a technology platform adopted by more than 10,000 enterprises in India, according to the organizers.

One of the highlights of IDC 2026 is the complimentary training provided before every round, with the organizers stating that the training is otherwise worth ₹1,00,000.

Competition Format

IDC 2026 follows a hybrid, multi-stage format consisting of four stages.

Round 1 – Online MCQ Assessment

The competition begins with an online multiple-choice question (MCQ) assessment designed to test participants' knowledge and understanding.

Round 2 – Digital Design and Modelling

Participants move into practical design activities using the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform.

This stage focuses on digital design and modelling skills.

The challenge is presented by the Tata Group and is open to full-time college students from any stream across India. Participants progress through quizzes, reasoning challenges and an idea-pitch stage, with shortlisted participants getting opportunities to interact with Tata leaders.

The Tata Imagination Challenge is designed to give young innovators a platform to share ideas that can potentially make a positive impact on industries, communities or society.

Ideas do not have to be huge or highly complex. Tata encourages participants to present original, meaningful and practical concepts that can create positive change.

👩‍🎓 Who Can Participate?

Students are eligible if they:

Are currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate course .
Are studying full-time .
Are from any stream .
Are enrolled in a university or college in India.
Have completed 10+2 or equivalent .
Are pursuing an eligible regular/full-time course approved by the relevant authorities.
Have started classes for the current academic year.

Students who have only received admission but whose classes have not started, distance/correspondence students, graduates who have completed their course, and non-full-time students are not eligible.
