Anniversary bash planning committee in action at JAMS:

And the actual event. The pallet contraption below was The Gallery at Studio EMP’s display. We showcase Joel’s work one month of the twelve but enjoy supporting eleven other artists each year. March was Hoiyin Ip’s chance to show her work from around the world, incredible! And yes, Lulu was there manning the booth.

Jesse and the team got some love from the Mayor, Sharon Quirk. The Art Walk is a grass roots organization and has always been supported solely by it’s participants.

Tranquil Tea Lounge showcased a really cool surf artist, Future Seas.

Steffi Moellers showed off her amazing paintings and this wonderful dancing woman!

Hibbleton Gallery had a really cool community art project going.

PAS showed ‘ReCREATION’ by Brandon Monk Munoz.

Rad, a Google map marker by Brandon Munoz. It was MASSIVE! I had to climb up to unbolt it and we loaded in on the TOP of the Found box truck because it wouldn’t fit inside!

Becky Holt rocked it! I didn’t know but she works in a little cafe, Cafe Rialto (amazing food!) in downtown Fullerton!

I was so bummed that I was unable to photograph CF Dance Academy and their performances. I was still very busy at the start of the show by my son, Caysen, LOVED the dancing and showed interest in taking hip hop dance!

These next few were shot under a little hole of light I found swooping between the building and the canvas walkway cover. A little light in an otherwise very dark hotel.

Gotta love the blur!!  As I said, these two were so fun to work with… hope to see you guys soon seeing as how you’re pretty much neighbors!

This is the cover, Studio EMP didn’t shoot… but it’s cool, right?

We shot this next set to showcase B Bride and some dresses from Fancy, New York. Our amateur models acted like true pros!

We were also asked to photograph B Bride’s grand re-opening after expanding their shop in less than a year in business, I think! Cool shop plus gracious owner equals quick growth!

And what a party it was!!

Featured Wedding, Amy and Billy- I LOVED this wedding and B&B kept pushing back it’s printing until they had the right issue for it- they just had their two year anniversary!!! #worththewait!

And finally  one of my favorite set ups I’ve ever shot, and of course it’s got a ton of stuff from Found! Amanda at Fantasy Floral Design had a great idea, contacted Jeni (my beautiful and talented wife) at Found Vintage Rentals and they collaborated so well to create this simple but stunning setting. Amanda should get more love than they gave (she set up the whole thing)!!

After making the image Nathan sent it to Martin Huch, in Germany, who is AMAZING at creating surreal composites. Martin originally said that he loved the photograph and didn’t want to cut it up but the art director insisted he stay on the original path of the project.
