Jeff is Great at what he does, and that is making fire! We took these in Downtown Baton Rouge and although the temperature outside was 50 degrees, everyone was sweating by the time Jeff ran out of fuel. I hope you enjoy!

Here we meet up with Jackie, a fire hooper and novice fire fanner with Jebediah Goodstuff’s Pyromaniacal Olde-Tyme Traveling Sideshow. Jackie is amazing with the fire hoop and really gets into it. What is truly interesting is that once she lights up, she begins smiling from ear to ear.

For anyone who is anyone in Baton Rouge, surely you know the new upcoming group of fire actors and actresses who go by the name of Jebediah Goodstuff’s Pyromaniacal Olde-Tyme Traveling Sideshow. Kim is a fire actress, specializing in fire fans and fire hoop. The rest of the group specializes in everything from fire orb to blowing fire and even eating fire. I am very fortunate to be able to photograph each of the actors or actresses, in their element, doing their specialty. So with out further ado, here is Kim!

Rocketchix 2011 Triathlon

For anyone who missed it, the Rocketchix Triathlon was this past Sunday. I was blown away by the sheer number of strong women who competed in it. The triathlon was broken into three seperate events, swimming, bicycling, and running. All of the women who competed are winners for just completing all of the events, but there was one special woman that I would like to point out, my wife Elizabeth. This was her first triathlon and after months of training, not only did she complete the triathlon, she did exceptionally well in her division. I am so proud of her for her determination, stamina and overall drive to succeed. Congratulations to not only my wife, but to all the strong women that competed.
