STUDY ISLAM - For anyone who lust for power, arrogant with his wealth, and love high and mighty. Why not try to be a God? If your arbitrary actions, your arrogance, and your lust could abuse, harass, or even hated by others. Then became the god is a solution for you. If you are a God, all people will worship you, and certainly no one would object to your arrogance, and of course a huge powers is in your hands.

You think I'm kidding? NO, I guarantee. If you qualify, then no Muslims would refuse you become their God. If you follow this test and succeed, then I guarantee you that every Muslims will bow down and worship you. Approximately there is more than 500 million Muslims around the world, and all of them will take a bow and worship you, isn't that great? This is an open chances to anyone, so don't miss it.

What are the requirements? easy, you just need to meet four (4) requirements to become a God. Yes, only four!, quattro, vier, empat, quatre. Less than the requirements to be a governor or president.

All that requirements is contained in Al-Qur'an, precisely in Surah Al-Ikhlas verses 1-4. For you record, that every Muslim must believe, follow, and obey the teachings of Al-Qur'an. That's why I can guarantee, if you make it through this test, then you will be adored and worshiped.

It was way back in 1989 when I, along with my sister, conducted a tour to some of the countries of Middle East. During our stay in Bahrain, we were accorded warm welcome. There I happened to meet some children and had a light chitchat with them. I put certain questions to them and they flung at me their innocent queries. During the course of this interaction, they inquired about my religion. I told them, “I am a Christian.” I asked them, as to what was their religion. A wave of serenity took over them. They replied in one voice : Islam. Their enthusiastic answer really shook me from within. Then they started telling me about Islam. They were giving me information, much in piece with their age. The pitch of their voice would reveal that they were highly proud of Islam. This is how I paced toward Islam.

STUDY ISLAM - Everything that God created nothing in vain. Among other of God's creation that special is the bees. If we observe that the honey bee referred more specifically than the other animals in the Qur'an. Many of the animals mentioned in the Qur'an, but only the bees and their role being discussed specifically.

All that exist in this universe can be a lesson and be advice for us all. Including the existence of bees, we can learn from them and then we apply in this life. In order to bring a better life, and also become better human.

STUDY ISLAM - Consider a scenario where the Islamic law is implemented in America. Whenever a man looks at a woman and any brazen or unashamed thought comes to his mind, he lowers his gaze. Every woman wears the Islamic dress as mentioned in Quran. After this if any man commits rape he is given capital punishment. I ask you, in such a scenario, will the rate of rape in America increase, will it remain the same, or will it decrease?

If Islamic law is implemented in any part of the world, WOMEN WILL BREATHE EASIER.

Political Rights of Women

STUDY ISLAM - According to Surah At-Tawbah, Ch.9, Verse No.71,

"The men and the women they are friends (supporters) of each other". [QS. At-Tawbah 9:71]

Supporters not only Socially, even Politically. Politically, men and women should support each other.

Women can even take part in law making.
And according to the famous Hadith in which Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), he was discussing with the Sahabas, and considering putting an upper limit on the ‘Meher’, since young men were discouraged from getting married - a lady from the back seat she objected and said When the Qur’an says in Surah Nisa Ch.4, Verse No.20 that… ‘you can even give a heap of treasure, a heap of gold in ‘Meher’, when Qur’an puts no limit on ‘Meher’, who is Umar to put a limit (may Allah be pleased with him). And immediately Hazrat Umar (peace be upon him) said ‘Umar is wrong and the lady is right’.

STUDY ISLAM - Islam strongly recommends to the Muslims - male or female - to acquire knowledge, it's proved through the first revelation, in Surah Al-Alaq, which says:

"Read, recite or proclaim in the name of your Lord, Who has created the human beings from a congealed clot of blood (a leech like substance). Read, your Lord is most bountiful. Who has taught the use of the pen. Who has taught the human beings that which he knew-not" [QS. Al-Alaq 96:1-5]

The first guidance given in the Qur’an to the humankind was not to pray, was not to fast, was not to give charity. It was READ, and it means learn, study, and acquire knowledge. Islam pays utmost importance to education. 'Science without faith (religion) is lame. and faith without science is blind'.

Education is Compulsory in Islam
According to Quran:

"God will exalt those of you who believe and those who are given knowledge to high degrees." [QS. Al-Mujadilah 58:11]

"And say, O my Lord! increase me in knowledge". [QS. Thaha 20:114]

"And whoever is is given knowledge is given indeed abundant wealth". [QS. Al-Baqarah 2:269]

According to a saying of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh):

“It is obligatory for every Muslim, male or female, to acquire knowledge (Al-Bayhaqi).

Imagine, 1400 years ago, when the women were ill treated and were only used as property, Islam asked the women to be educated.

Social Rights Of Women In Islam

STUDY ISLAM - Social rights of women in Islam can be categorized into four sub-headings. Social rights given to a daughter, to a wife, to a mother and to a sister.

Social Rights to a Daughter
Islam prohibits, female infanticide. The killing of female children is forbidden in Islam.
It is mentioned in Surah Taqveem,

"when the female child is buried alive and when she questions you, for what crime was she killed". [QS. At-Taqveem 81:8-9]

Not only female infanticide has been prohibited, all sorts of infanticides has been prohibited in Islam, whether it be a male child or a female child. It is mentioned in several places in Qur’an,

"Kill not your children for want of sustenance for it is God that will provide sustenance for you and for children." [QS. Al-An'am 6:151]

"Kill not your children for want of sustenance, for it is God that will provide sustenance to you and your children, for killing of children is a major sin." [QS. Al-Isra 17:31]

In the pre-Islamic Arabia, whenever a female child was born mostly she was buried alive. Alhamdulillah, after the spread of Islam this evil practice has been discontinued.

Economical Rights Of Women In Islam

STUDY ISLAM - Islam gave economical rights to the women 1,300 years before the West. An adult Muslim woman can own, she can dispose or disown any of her property without consulting any one, irrespective whether she is married or she is single. In 1870, it was the first time in England, that the West recognized the rights of the married woman, where she was allowed to own or dispose any of her property without consultation.

Women on Job
A women in Islam, if she wishes to work she can work. There is no text in the Qur’an or the authentic Hadith which prevents or makes it prohibited for a woman to do any work, as long as it is not unlawful, as long as it is within the preview of the Islamic Shariah, as long as she maintains her Islamic dress code.

In Islam, man and woman have the same spiritual nature. It is mentioned in Qur'an,

"O mankind! reverence your Guardian-Lord, who created you from a single person, created, of like nature, His mate, and from them twain scattered (Like seeds) countless men and women;- reverence Allah, through whom ye demand your mutual (rights), and (reverence) the wombs (That bore you): for Allah ever watches over you." [QS. An-Nisaa 4:1]

STUDY ISLAM - Women's rights are part of human rights. enforcement of women's rights are part of the enforcement of human rights. In accordance with international commitments in the UN Declaration of 1993, the protection, fulfillment and respect for women's rights is the responsibility of all parties, both State institutions (executive, legislative, judicial) as well as political parties and Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs). Even individual citizens have a responsibility to protect and fulfill women's human rights.

From various studies about women, it seems that women have long suffered discrimination and violence in all areas of life. Various forms of discrimination and violence against women has worsened the living conditions of women and impede the advancement of women. Various attempts have been long fought to protect women's rights and freedoms for women, but until recently the results have not been significant.

In relation to Islam, many people misunderstand that Islam does not pay attention and protect women's rights. wear the hijab, or the division of inheritance is not equal to men, is one of the reasons for this misunderstanding, even assume that women's rights in Islam is already outdated. STUDY ISLAM - Many people outside Islam (Non-Muslim) misunderstanding of the rules in Islam. They thought that the rule in Islam is very strict, and restrict the freedom of human rights. Because they think there's a lot of acts classified as a sin in the religion of Islam, when compared with other religious teachings (such as eating pork, drinking alcohol, etc.).

In this article, I will explain the rules in the most fundamental of Islam. I hope we'll both know that all the rules in Islam is logical and reasonable. I also hope we will both know how noble of Allah SWT, and how beautiful teachings of Islam. And finally we will feel lucky that we are a Muslim.

Basically, religion is about the rule, the religious person is one who uses the rules in their life. Unlike the law in general legislation, which only contains commands and prohibitions. STUDY ISLAM - Reason (mind/intellect) is the Almighty God favors the most general and most expensive given by Him only to humans (not given to other creatures). With reason, humans have privileges compared to other beings (animals) and he can control nature to benefit themselves and their surroundings.

Drinking khamr (wine, beer, or any beverages that contain alcohol) is sin (immoral acts) which can be damaging and destroying reason and mind, and also the greatest evil in the sight of Allah. This is the principal of all evil and sin. Someone who drank alcohol would dare commit adultery (fornication), killing, stealing, and destroying the honor of himself and others.

1) Belief in God:

Muslims believe in one, unique, incomparable God, Who has no son nor partner, and that none has the right to be worshiped but Him alone. He is the true God, and every other deity is false. He has the most magnificent names and sublime perfect attributes. No one shares His divinity, nor His attributes. In the Qur'an, God describes Himself:

Say, “He is God, the One. God, to Whom the creatures turn for their needs. He begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none like Him.” [QS. Al-Ikhlas 112:1-4]

No one has the right to be invoked, supplicated, prayed to, or shown any act of worship, but God alone.

STUDY ISLAM - I think all people in the world already knew that a muslims is prohibited to consume a pork. There is a fact that a meat is contain a good protein which is good for health. But why Muslim prohibited to eat pork? What is the logical reason behind it?

First, The Holy Qur'an prohibits the consumption of pork in no less than 4 different places.

He hath only forbidden you dead meat, and blood, and the flesh of swine, and that on which any other name hath been invoked besides that of Allah. but if one is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits,- then is He guiltless. for Allah is Oft-forgiving Most Merciful. [QS. Al-Baqarah 2:173]

Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah. that which hath been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by being gored to death; that which hath been (partly) eaten by a wild animal; unless ye are able to slaughter it (in due form); that which is sacrificed on stone (altars); (forbidden) also is the division (of meat) by raffling with arrows: that is impiety. This Day have those who reject Faith given up all hope of your religion: yet fear them not but fear Me. This Day have I perfected your Religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam As your religion. but if any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, Allah is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. [QS. Al-Maaidah 5:3]

say: "I find not In the Message received by me by inspiration any (meat) forbidden to be eaten by one who wishes to eat it, unless it be dead meat, or blood poured forth, or the flesh of swine,- for it is an abomination - or, what is impious, (meat) on which a name has been invoked, other than Allah.s". but (even so), if a person is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits,- Thy Lord is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. [QS. Al-An'am 6:145]

He has only forbidden you dead meat, and blood, and the of swine, and any (food) over which the name of other than Allah has been invoked. if one is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due then Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. [QS. An-Nahl 16:115]

Study About Eid Al-Adha

STUDY ISLAM - Eid al-Adha is one of two biggest festival that is celebrated by Muslims throughout the world. Eid al-Adha is also known as the festival of sacrifice and sacrifice feast.

The festival of Eid al-Adha is celebrated in the remembrance of prophet Abraham’s biggest trials to forfeit/slaughter his "one and only" son, Ishmael (pbuh), for god. The story about this festival tells, when he was all prepared to do it, Allah revealed to him that his "sacrifice" had already been fulfilled. And Allah replace Ishmael with sheep. Prophet Abraham (pbuh) had shown that his love for his Lord superceded all others (including his own son), that he would lay down his own life or the lives of those dear to him in order to submit to Allah Almighty God.

Because of his love, Allah praise him in Qur'an:

"Surely Abraham was an example, obedient to Allah, by nature upright, and he was not of the polytheists. He was grateful for Our bounties. We chose him and guided him unto a right path. We gave him good in this world, and in the next he will most surely be among the righteous." [QS. An-Nahl 16:120-121]

During the celebration of Eid al-Adha, Muslims commemorate and remember Prophet Abraham's (pbuh) trials, by forfeit their domestic animals such as a sheep, cow, goat, or camel. This forfeit made by Muslims is known as “Qurban”. Once the animal is sacrificed then the meat of the animal is distributed among the friends, relatives, neighbors and poor people.

STUDY ISLAM - RIGHTS OF ENEMIES AT WAR
After dealing with the rights of the citizens of an Islamic State, I would like to briefly discuss the rights which Islam has conferred on its enemies. In the days when Islam came into focus the world was completely unaware of the concept of humane and decent rules of war. The West became conscious of this concept for the first time through the works of the seventeenth century thinker, Grotius. But the actual codification of the 'international law' in war began in the middle of the nineteenth century. Prior to this no concept of civilized behavior in war was found in the West. All forms of barbarity and savagery were perpetrated in war, and the rights of those at war were not even recognized, let alone respected. The laws which were framed in this field during the nineteenth century or over the following period up to the present day, cannot be called 'laws' in the real sense of the word. They are only in the nature of conventions and agreements and calling them 'international law' is actually a kind of misnomer, because no nation regards them binding when they are at war, unless, of course, when the adversaries also agree to abide by them. In other words, these civilized laws imply that if our enemies respect them then we shall also abide by them, and if they ignore these human conventions and take recourse to barbaric and cruel ways of waging war, then we shall also adopt the same or similar techniques. It is obvious that such a course which depends on mutual acceptance and agreement cannot be called 'law'. And this is the reason why the provisions of this so-called 'inter- national law' have been flouted and ignored in every way, and every time they have been revised, additions or deletions have been made in them. Law of War and Peace in Islam:

The rules which have been framed by Islam to make war civilized and humane, are in the nature of law, because they are the injunctions of God and His Prophet which are followed by Muslims in all circumstances, irrespective of the behavior of the enemy. It is now for the scholars to find out how far the West has availed of the laws of war given by Islam thirteen hundred years ago; and even after the adaptation of some of the laws of Islam how far the West attained those heights of civilized and humane methods of warfare which Muslims reached through the blessings of Islam. Western writers have often asserted that the Prophet had borrowed everything in his teachings from the Jews and the Christians. Instead of saying anything in its refutation I will only recommend the reader to refer to the Bible so that he can see which methods of war are recommended by the sacred Book of these Western claimants to civilization and culture.

We have examined in some detail the basic human rights that Islam has conferred on man. Let us now find out what rights and obligations Islam recognizes for an enemy.

STUDY ISLAM - RIGHTS OF CITIZENS IN AN ISLAMIC STATE

We have discussed the human rights in general. Now we would like to take up the question of rights of the citizens in an Islamic State. As these rights are more extensive than the general human rights which have been described earlier, they need separate treatment.

1. The Security of Life and Property

In the address which the Prophet delivered on the occasion of the Farewell Hajj, he said:

"Your lives and properties are forbidden to one another till you meet your Lord on the Day of Resurrection."

God Almighty has laid down in the Holy Quran:

"Anyone who kills a believer deliberately will receive as his reward (a sentence) to live in Hell for ever. God will be angry with him and curse him, and prepare dreadful torment for him" [QS. An-Nisaa 4:93].

The Prophet has also said about the dhimmis (the non-Muslim citizens of the Muslim State):

"One who kills a man under covenant (i.e. a dhimmi) will not even smell the fragrance of Paradise" (al-Bukhari and Abu Dawud).

STUDY ISLAM - BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS

The first thing that we find in Islam in this connection is that it lays down some rights for man as a human being. In other words it means that every man whether he belongs to this country or that, whether he is a believer or unbeliever, whether he lives in some forest or is found in some desert, whatever be the case, he has some basic human rights simply because he is a human being, which should be recognized by every Muslim. In fact it will be his duty to fulfil these obligations.

1. The Right to Life

The first and the foremost basic right is the right to live and respect human life. The Holy Quran lays down:

Whosoever kills a human being without (any reason like) man slaughter, or corruption on earth, it is as though he had killed all mankind ... [QS. Al-Maaidah 5:32]

STUDY ISLAM - Become vegetarian is now a movement the world over. Many people associate it in the name of the animal's rights. The consumption of meat and other non-vegetarian product to be a violation of animal rights, they say. Islam enjoins mercy and compassion for all living creatures. But at the same time Islam maintains that Allah, The Almighy God has created this entire universe and this earth, including its wondrous flora and fauna for the benefit of mankind. It is up to mankind to use every resource in this world judiciously, as a niqmat (Divine blessing) and amanah (trust) from Allah.

Proving Life After Death

STUDY ISLAM - Speaking about life after death, actually it's not fully understood by limited human reason. However, life after death is also not a blind logic. Here will be described evidence of life after death, and explained that life after death is a logical and credible.

Let me remind you, if you're looking for "visual" evidence about life after death, unfortunately you couldn't have it. because we can't came back after we died and tell the story, we couldn't meet Allah Almighty God to arrange an interview, and I think angel wouldn't upload about life after death to youtube either. But, we will prove about the existence about life after death in a logical way. As long as we think logically and a logical explanation been given, certainly we can accept the existence about life after death.

Science Facts in Qur'an

STUDY ISLAM - Islam is derived from the arabic word ‘salaam’ which means peace. It is a religion of peace whose fundamentals teach its followers to maintain and promote peace throughout the world. Many people misconception about Islam, many people thinks the religion of Islam came into existence 1400 years ago and Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) is the founder of this religion. In fact, Islam exist since the first human set foot unto this world. And Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) is the Messanger of Allah, Almighty God.

Islam is based on the teaching of the Holy Qur'an, It was revealed 1400 years ago by Allah to the prophet Mohammed through the angel Jibril or Gabriel. Is it possible, that today, the humanity can gain a guidance for how a life should be led from a book which is 1400 years old? Obviously, the answer is NO if the book was written by a human being. But the Glorious Qur'an is not written by human being, this Holy Qur'an is a words of Allah, The Almighty God. Al-Qur'an is the last revelation of God which revealed to the last and final messanger, prophet Mohammad (pbuh). For any books who claim that it is the words of God, for any books to prove that it is the revelation of Almighty God, it should stand the test of time.

The Glorious Qur'an was revealed at the time of poems and poetry, and everyone agree that Qur'an is the most beautiful poetry and poems ever made. Then came the age of miracle, and Al Qur'an is a miracle of the miracles. But today is the age of science and technology. whether the quran compatible or incompatible to modern science and technology? let's see.

What is Ramadan

STUDY ISLAM - This is an introduction to a Ramadan, the Holy month of Muslim's society all over the world, and the month of fasting. During the blessed month of Ramadan, Muslims all over the world abstain from food, drink, and other physical needs during the daylight hours. As a time to purify the soul, refocus attention on God, and practice self-sacrifice, Ramadan is much more than just not eating and drinking. Fasting is one of the Five Pillars of the religion of Islam and one of the highest forms of Islamic worship. Abstinence from earthly pleasures and curbing evil intentions and desires is regarded as an act of obedience and submission to God as well as an atonement for sins, errors, and mistakes.

Muslims fast as an act of faith and worship towards Allah, seeking to suppress their desires and increase their spiritual piety. Therefore, the command to fast is addressed only to those who believe, as Allah says in surah Al-Baqarah 2:183 :

O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you As it was prescribed to those before you, that ye may (learn) self-restraint, [QS. Al-Baqarah 2:183]

Someone who does not have faith, will not be called by this verse. Without any faith, a Muslim may not be able to fast.

1. Avoid all the body of all sorts of behaviors that are forbidden. Including our heart. Because if the heart has begun to turn to sinners, then its influence would penetrate into the entire body.
The Prophet said: "Fasting is a shield, then the fasting person should not say rafats (dirty words) and not being stupid. If there are people who fight and scream at him, he should say 'actually I'm fasting' two times." [HR. Bukhari, Muslim]
"Whosoever does not leaving the false speech and bad deeds, then God does not need (to fast) in his leaving the eat and drink." [narrated by Bukhari]

2. Increasing generosity. Within of this glorious months, encouraged to multiply infaq, loves the weak, connecting ties and be gentle with the family.

3. Gives Iftar to someone fasting, although only a grain of dates and a sip of water. Prophet said: "Whoever gives Iftar to someone fasting, then he will get a reward like that obtained by the fasting person, without reducing the reward of the fasting person." [narrated by Tirmidhi]

4. Sahoor, Sahoor is sunnah even though only a sip of water, because in every meal there is a blessing from Allah SWT. Our beloved prophet says: do sahoor, because there is a blessing in it.[HR. Bukhari, Muslim]

5. Preferred to end the meal (in sahoor) until near dawn. If the meal was worried about the coming of dawn, then the more important for him to leave the meal.

6. Immediately break the fast. If you are sure that the sun has set, then it is advisable breaking the fast immediately.

7. Breaking the fast by eating fresh dates (ruthab), and if not there, with dried dates. if not there is also, then just a few sips of water.
As has been done by the prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Anas ibn Malik reported: "Allah's Apostle often break the fast with fresh dates (ruthab), if no ruthab, then he is breaking the fast with dried dates (tamar), if there were no tamar then he drank a gulp of water." [narrated by Ahmad and Abu Dawud]

8. Prayed in times of iftar, with the prayer taught by the prophet Muhammad (pbuh), He said: "There are 3 people who will not be denied his prayers: a fair leader, the fasting person until break their fast, and the prayers of the oppressed." [narrated by Ibnu Majah]

9. Passed the time by seeking knowledge, reading Al Qur'an and dhikr. because the Qur'an was revealed during the month of Ramadan.

10. I'tikaf. the silence in the mosque. These good deeds can be done anytime, but better if done in the month of Ramadan. and even better if done in the last 10 days of Ramadan.

If those things we can implement, then our fasting would be perfect, so it gets the reward and kept away from the fire of hell, ameen.
