Back in 2008, we used to roam a lot especially on weekends. This was at Half Moon Bay. Somehow this is the only image that has stuck with me from that place. One of these days I want to go back and picture this house again at sunset or dawn or pretty much at a good time, and also from up close.

Going through our last year Greece’s photos and re-processing them has become a good time pass for me. It allows me to learn and enhance pictures I took there. This is from Mikonos, where pretty much every single day we had beautiful gorgeous sunsets. Sitting by the windmills, watching the sun go down while small boats rome around – its an experience by itself.

Major time re-working with photoshop and lightroom. Comes close to how beautiful that sunset was. Nonetheless, i had to bump up colors in the whites. Also had to increase sharpening big time as the original image was not that sharp either. Took me a while to get this photo to where I wanted it to be, but I think with this its nearly there. I am really loving learining photshop; its such a powerful image editing tool!

• Steve McCurry Photography – I feel foolish to realize that one of my Steve McCurry is the photographer of one of my all time favorite portrait photos. Yes, the woman with the cat eyes. Didn't know he shot it in Peshawar Pakistan. For a long time I thought it was Iranian.
