Model Katie Green agrees. She’s trying to ban the use of ultra-thin “size zero” models and told The Sun Kate’s comments were “shocking and irresponsible.”

A spokeswoman for Moss said the remark “completely misrepresented” what the model meant to say, according to the BBC.

“This was part of a longer answer Kate gave during a wider-ranging interview, which has unfortunately been taken out of context and completely misrepresented. For the record, Kate does not support this as a lifestyle choice.”

Kate Moss, now 35, is famous for her waif-like look, which helped spur a trend for super-thin models in the 1990s.

The couple are creating a high-end line with British fashion house Asprey called “The Protector.” The baubles will consist of diamond, black diamond and emerald pavé rings, bracelets, earrings, men’s cuff links, and dress studs — in the shape of snakes. Prices begin at $525 for a silver baby spoon with a curved, snake-shaped handle. the pieces go on sale at all Asprey stores in London, New York, Beverly Hills, Tokyo, and Dubai later this week, according to Women’s Wear Daily.

Angelina was given a snake ring designed by a different jeweler while pregnant with Shiloh, now 3, and considers them to be the “protector of her family.”

All proceeds will benefit the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, which was co-founded by Jolie in 2006. The charity raises awareness and money to help educate child victims of war, conflict and natural disasters.
