2016 in photos.

Every year it is a tradition for me and the blog to share with you some highlights of the past year in photos. 2016 was a GOOD year for me, a year full of smiles, achievements and a couple of teardrops! Mixed emotions that made me see the World a little bit differently and more passionate to always try to achieve what I want.

Looking back to the goals I wanted to achieve this year I can only smile while checking them ALL off from the list! I manage to complete my studies in Finance (graduation will follow in the middle of February, so stay tuned for the photos and an emotional post :P ) and I found a proper job in a big International company as a digital officer! Big plus on the latter is that I have the opportunity to work with my friend Alexia from Lexie's choices and be a part in a great group of kind people.
Also, I took part in three 5K runs, one 10K run and one 11,30K bike race managing to complete all of them. And lastly, I made people around me happy and brought some joy in myself and the World. At least this is what I feel! Spending time with the family, friends, my dog and the bf, doing things that we love together, being kinder to strangers around me and always trying to do the best for the society brought more delight than what I thought!

The only thing that I couldn't do this year is travelling BUT I know that 2017 will be full of it so it's all good!Just stay around to see ;)

I wish to all of you and your beloved ones to be happy, healthy and KIND to each other! Enjoy your NYE and see you tomorrow for 2017's goal list.

KENZOxH&M MANIA

2016-11-02T20:21:00.002+02:00

Kenzo x H&M mania.

Yesterday H&M kindly invited us once again to their pre launch party for the Kenzo x H&M collection, which will be available in stores from tomorrow November the 3th, and I thought why not share with you my experience. I will not speak for the party itself, because the Greek H&M ladies always organise the best events and I have already told you that like one million times already. But I will talk about the collection, just to give you an idea of what to expect and maybe help you deside for the pieces, if you haven't already??

So, as you have propably already seen, the pieces are typical Kenzo designs from their previous collections, such as the iconic tiger or the animal printed looks but with an extra touch to make them unique and new. At the very first glimpse they seem too much, however if you take each piece itself they are beautiful pieces that will automatically transform your daily outfit into a glamorous one. The Kenzo x H&M woman is definatelly not afraid to try something new and stand out from the crowd. Nevertheless if you are still a little bit hesitate to try the pink animal printed boots or the red dress, there are still a TON of basic pieces to buy such as the white T shirt with the tiger or the black blouse with the iconic Kenzo logo. (don't worry, I also took the safest road and went for the black T shirt with the tiger )

Must pieces: the white/black Tshirt (obviously), the animal printed clutches and the socks (imagine them with a total black look, they will immediatelly stand out, won't they?)

BACK TO BLOGGING

2016-10-30T17:32:00.000+02:00

StyleFAX 2.0

So it's been awhile since the last time I posted something on this blog, 8 months to be presice. Well, a lot have happen't since then and this is not the right time and place to discuss them :p Let's just say that I needed some time to refocus on people and things I love more! BUT now it feels right to get back at it.
The new SF will be now more like a personal diary, where I will share my thoughts, sometimes my outfits and my travels (which will be many of them in the near future and you really need to stick around to see, he he). Also, in case you did not notice, we made a facelift (again) just to make it easier for you to search through the posts and read the ones you are really interested in.
So what's new??
Well, as a bachelor graduate in finance myself, I am more than happy to share my experience, courses and projects I had with you and answer some questions you may have. Moreover, I will share the road to the upcoming Masters degree in the Netherlands in HR and the struggles to get officially ready for it!

I hope I managed to get you an idea of what you should expect and please comment below to tell me your thoughts on it and maybe some other topics you would love to read :)

BRAIDED

2016-02-11T09:30:00.000+02:00

zara leather pants, shoes and bag

hairtrend.

One month now it seems like every one on this planet has already try this new hair trend, the French/Dutch both-side braids, unless though you live under a rock so that explains why you don't know what I'm talking about. However, I was not so sure about this whole trend but after seeing one of my besties rocking them I desided to give it a try and so far I really like it!! Not only it makes you cutter but it gives you also a more badass style if I may say PLUS it's perfect if you work out ;)

GLITTER SOCKS

different.

You already know that I got the Stan Smiths after so many months refusing to adopt this trend madness and I don't deny that I love them so much. You also know that every human being own them in every color possible. But what you probably don't know is that I desided to wear them in a slighlty different way and to be more specific with a pair of glitter socks! I just can't get enough of them and I think that they're kind of a statement piece, keeping you warm at the same time. Double score ;)

So.. what do you think??

RIPPED JEANS IN FEBRUARY

2016-02-04T16:16:00.004+02:00

zara jeans and top // stradivarius parka // stan smith sneakers

inception.

So the weather here in Greece-and as I see in the most European countries-is not so winter aproppriate with the temperatures being up to even 20'C some days. So I take the chance to wear my favorite ripped jeans as long as I can before the real heavy winter kicks off!

Stay tuned because a really great project will be revealed tomorrow on the blog ;)

STAN SMITH

2016-01-28T09:30:00.000+02:00

zara top, coat and bag // stradivarius trousers // adidas shoes

whoops.

When this whole Stan Smith madness kicked off some seasons back I swore to myself that I won't buy them. Not because I didn't like them, but because every human being on earth owned them at this time and I preferred to buy the supergas instead to make a difference if that makes sence. However, there was a true reason that this pair of sneakers were famous. They were not only good looking but also comfortable! So here I am wearing and rocking them?? You tell me..

The supergas on the other hand not so much! There I said it!! But I still love them and wear them ;)

Life lately is all about studying and pretty much nothing more interesting. But you already know that. What you propably don't know-unless you are following me on snapchat-is that I get the chance to work out more, sometimes even 6 times per week, which gives me more energy through the day AND probably I will be bikini ready for the summer, well.. way before summer kicks off! Excited enough? We'll see...

LET IT SNOW

2015-12-24T09:30:00.000+02:00

getaway.
If you follow me on facebook or instagram you already know that last weekend I visited a winter destination for the weekend with my friends and I can tell you we had a wonderful time there all together! We played cards, visited the spa area in our hotel, ate a LOT and of course played with snow like five year olds. A weekend so needed before Christmas ;)

POSTCARD FROM ATHENS

2015-12-18T00:30:00.000+02:00

postcard.

another beautiful postcard from Plaka area in the center of Athens and under the Acropolis. It is no surprise that Plaka is my favorite area in Athens and I go there almost every day to wander the streets or grab a cup of coffee, perfect way to escape the hectic reality and oh! how lucky I am to live only 15 minutes away..

This is exactly what I am going to miss from Athens when I will go abroad to do my masters apart from my family of course. This beautiful morning feeling when you get the chance to discover new places and hidden alleys not so far from the chaos but still so peace and quite.

But I will always come back here to my favorite place to have a cup of coffee on a sunny Sunday morning with my family.. and that is a promise..

UNSERIOUS PROBLEMS

2015-12-14T09:30:00.000+02:00

zara shirt // stradivarius jacket // zara jeans // zara bag // zara shoes

drama.

So a week ago my wallet got stollen under my eyes actually! Not only it was my favorite one and kind of expencive but also had all my cards inside PLUS my licence driver and my ID. The story goes like this.. I was having a coffee with my sister at Starbucks and I was focused on my laptop, having my bag right and next to me. Then, a well dressed man came and sat next to me on the left and after 2 minutes he left! With my wallet! So simple. Of course I did not realise anything and only found it out after one hour. Until now I have no further news from the police. I am just going from one police department to banks to my university to get the new cards and I desided to leave it behind. I realised that there are many more serious problems in this world. From poverty to wars to losing your favorite people, all these are so much more important!

Thank God I am healthy. The rest are just unserious problems!

EASY BREAZY

2015-12-04T13:31:00.000+02:00

H&M shirt // H&M sweater // zara jeans // zara bag // superga sneakers

layers.

somedays when it's still not that cold outside I just don't want to take a jacket with me. Either because I'm too bored to drag it around or it just does not match perfectly my outfit. So these days I wear multiple layers underneath to keep me warm and still look stylish and have my hands free :D

extra tip: wear a more formal piece underneath, for example a shirt, so when you are in a room you can wonder around with this piece only and still look polished! ;)

SMALL TRICK

2015-11-25T16:22:00.001+02:00

H&M shirt // stradivarius leather jacket // zara jeans // superga sneakers

samebutdifferent.

Last year I posted a really similar outfit to this one-which you can reread here- but who can blame me? The white (t)shirt/leather jacket/jeans are one of my favorite combos and part of my daily uniform.. Always cool, classy AND comfy ;)

BUT if you want to make it a liiiittle bit different here's a clever trick. Leave only two or three buttons buttoned and let the rest of your shirt flow in the air ;) What do you think?? Yay or nay?

OFFICE LOOK

2015-11-22T14:34:00.000+02:00

stradivarius blazer // zara skirt // zara boots // rayban sunglasses

weather.

I am aware of the fact that as Greeks we are blessed to have great weather during the whole year.. I mean even throughout the colder months we still have sun despite the cold temperatures. But having 27'C in the middle of November is something completely new. I currently can not recall any other time that the temperatures were that high at this time of the year and every one was wearing just a tshirt. This means that we can still go bare leg outside. And this is what I would do too if I had not catch a cold. :/

The skies over Athens lately are so beautiful and clear and it seems that they will stay for awhile. I still enjoy it but I can't hide, I really miss the colder months and the grey colors of the sky :D

GOALS

2015-11-10T15:48:00.001+02:00

primark tee // zara leather pants // zara bag // zara scarf // converse sneakers

fact.
In life always has to be something to look at, a goal, in order to know where to fly to.
It will be easier that way, to know exactly what you want to achieve! But do not forget
to divide your end destination into smaller ones.. In this case, every time you reach a
specific milestone you will feel more like a big winner and your confidence will be
stronger than ever..

This is what I always have in my mind and this is what made me fly to the moon the
past Sunday.. To be more specific.. I always wanted to run the authentic marathon and
the original path, the 42,1 km in Athens.. But..to be able to win this huuuuge milestone
I firstly had to run the smaller root, the 5K one, which I did!! And I am realy proud of
myself.. Off to the next one now.. 10K!!

THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY

2015-11-04T15:33:00.000+02:00

Balmain for H&M bag // zara leather trousers // H&M shirt // vans sneakers

life.
As an optimist I see things in the most positive way possible and always expecting the
best to come! Most people advise me not to think always that way and be prepared for
any kind of failure. But fyi I do feel insecure, anxious and dissapointed from time to
time.. But still.. it's the way you deside to deal with the facts and the failures that define
you. There are these little things that make you happy and take the pain away. For me,
it's the early wake up and my work out routine or the hugest cup of coffee which cheer
me up..

I am curious, what are your favorite things that make you happy??

H&M.
Just returned back from the H&M party for their latest collaboration with Balmain.
The night was epic.. For one more time the Greek H&M team organised a beautiful
event for their guests and the pieces from the collection were even greater!!

Till next time H&M.....

SATURDAY'S ERRANDS

2015-10-24T17:00:00.000+03:00

zara pants // zara bag // stradivarius gilet // converse shoes

funfact.
When I was younger I used to feel extremely happy and always looking forward to the
weekend, because it was the best two days of the week when I had to do nothing more
than playing tennis, visiting my friends and relaxing. But as the years go by and I'm
moving towards my middle 20s-ok I have 3 years for that but still-I realise that maybe
the weekends are not so innocent anymore. I mean.. How innocent can it be if you
have to visit the super market, do the households, study, meet your long lost friends
plus have lunches with family. And on top of that, prepare yourshelf for the upcoming
master.. Much drama, ha?

Luckily, I seam to have found the perfect Saturday uniform to run all these errands ;)

travels.
My love for travels and getting to know other countries and cultures are known and
unconditional. Last season I was lucky enough to visit many European countries.
But this season due to university and getting master-ready duties I found no time to
organise a trip abroad. However, my beautiful sister, who knows my obsession, sent
me this photo yesterday to cheer me up a bit.. Lucky meeeee.....
