By now, you know I am obsessed with shoes equally as much as I'm obsessed with nail polish and clothing and summer is my FAVORITE season (I may be bias because my birthday is in July) and the combination between shoes and summer is ideal for me! As if I need anymore shoes, I am always keeping my eyes out for adorable summer shoes and lately it has been all I keep seeing so I knew I had to share a few of my favorites!

May Stylish Girl of the Month: Shailene Woodley

I can't believe that tomorrow is the last day of May and the year is almost half over, it blows my mind! Of course with the end of the month, that means its time for my pick for Stylish Girl of the Month. I feel like I have picked p[practically every girl in Hollywood, but so many newcomers are catching my eye including this month's pick, Shailene Woodley. You might know her as Amy from The Secret Life of the American Teenager or starring alongside George Clooney in The Descendants, but Shailene is making quite the name for herself in fashion, even though she has no intention too. She ironically grew up in a town about 15 minutes from where I grew up and is only 20 years old and have already been nominated for a Golden Globe! She is beyond gorgeous with her incredibly long brown hair and effortlessly stylish and she is an obvious pick for SGOTM. See below why I chose Shailene.

Stylish DIY: Instagram Canvas Wall Art

I haven't done a DIY post in forever and I have been dying to do one and after seeing this blog post I knew I had to recreate this, but of course add a stylish touch!! If you don't know by now I LOVE nail polish and I LOVE my iPhone and Instagram and combining the two is like a stylish heaven in my eyes. I always take pictures of my nail colors using my favorite app, Instagram, and when I saw this DIY I knew it was the perfect thing to create for my new apartment, an Instagram Canvas Wall Art. It's inexpensive and an awesome way to use all those Instagram photos you take! See below to create your own canvas wall art!

Supplies Needed: (For a 12x12 canvas like I used) you'll need 9 4x4 pictures, Mod Podge, and a paint brush!

Step 1: Using Postal Pix, such an awesome app to print your instagram pictures and have them delivered right to your door, I ordered 18 4x4 photos (I only needed 9 but I wanted to have enough to choose from) of all my nail polish pics.
Step 2. On your canvas, experiment with placing all nine pictures and decide on a layout.
Step 3. Using Mod Podge and the paintbrush, begin adhering the photos to the canvas. I like to start with the corners and work my way in. Step 4. Seal with an extra coat of Mod Podge if you want and let dry for about two hours and then display! Easy enough right? Such a fun and easy way to decorate my apartment without a lot of work or mess, I definitely am going to do a bigger one when I have more pictures! So until next time... Live Stylishly

A city I have always wanted to visit is Cannes. I love France and I am obsessed with Paris but Cannes seems like it would be a close second to Paris from all the gorgeous pictures I see. Every year the Cannes Film Festival occurs and the fashion seen is on a whole different level from any other film festival and even any other awards show. This years event takes place from May 16th to May 27th and so far the fashion worn by our favorite celebrities is "jaw dropping" beautiful! From long flowy gowns to short cocktail dresses, every style was seen and worn with such class and beauty! Check out a few of the best dressed so far at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.

May 7th marked the day that the 2012 Met Gala occurred. As I was at work yesterday all the girls in my office and myself were making predictions at who we were excited to see and who we thought would be the best dressed. The Met Gala is referred to as the Fashion Oscars and this year was no exception. I have been lucky enough to be living with my amazing grandmother for the last 10 months, but the time has come for me to spread my wings and fly and move into my very own apartment with my friend Sarah, who I couldn't be more excited to live with! (She is a nail polish addict too so this could be a dangerous situation hehe) The stress of moving has definitely gotten to me the last few weeks, but tomorrow is the day I load all my stuff up and head to my very first apartment in LA. I can't wait to share my decorating festivities with everyone over the next few weeks as we get everything together! I will be quite the busy bee this weekend but I hope everyone else enjoys Cinco De Mayo!!

As I was packing up my room my this weekend, since I am FINALLY moving into my own apartment, I realized my closet is very colorful, more so than I thought. I love adding bright colors to a basic pair of jeans and we all know my love for neon. My other big obsession right now is pastels. I can't beleive it is the last Friday of April! This month FLEW by! Of course it is time to choose my April Stylish Girl of the Month and as usual the decision was a tough one, but after doing some research I came up with a perfect choice! This girl first caught my attention in one of my favorite movies, The Devil Wears Prada, and has made quite a name for herself, staring in the latest comedy with Jason Segal entitled The Five Year Engagement. Emily Blunt is my choice for April! She always looks extremely elegant and chic but always looks fun and dresses in items that are attainable for her fans!
